  • i suffer from crippling depression anxiety comes along with it , and there’s days where I can’t get out of bed, or when I’m struggling with alcoholism her voice brings me out of all of that.. she literally relieves my anxiety, her voice is a stress reliever. she holds so much power, beauty, pain, grace, and strength just in her voice alone. she’s a rare timeless creature and she makes this world a better place with her amazing talent.

    • To Dylon, I feel your pain truly. Severe anxiety, depression, ptsd etc. I've been sober from alcohol since Jan 2018. I had many ppl coming up to me randomly saying that I reminded them of her bc of my eclectic style and personality. I had no clue who she was until a few months ago and her music has saved my life. Her music is like gravity and so relatable. Alcohol is a tough one, I think about it everyday. I drank to take the anxiety and depression away, I will always be an addict. Don't give up! we are stronger than we think, for you to admit it takes courage and I'm proud of you! Keep fighting and remember none of us our perfect this world is an imperfect place!     • I’m an alcoholic too. A bad one. I never thought I could stop. I couldn’t do it on my own. Broke down and joined AA. All I know is it wasn’t me that stopped. A higher power definitely took it away. I can’t explain it because it doesn’t make sense. But neither does addiction. I’m almost 4 years now sober. My son is 10 months sober from alcohol and fentanyl. He was homeless 3 years overdosing over and over. Please go to a meeting. It works. If you have no one to talk to I’m here for you. No one understands the pain of it. The hopelessness. The loneliness. It’s like you’re breathing but dead inside ❤

Did know her name and knew she had a certain genre but since then I listen to a list of her songs each night before going to bed. She has such an hypnotic voice !   • White Mustang = Pale Horse Biblically speaking, the pale horse was ridden by death. This could be representative of the “dangerous man” narrative that Lana often uses to personify things such as drug and alcohol abuse as well as the ever present media. On the flip side, white horses are usually symbolic of purity, prosperity and spirituality. In dreams, they are believed to be omens of good things to come. This correlates to Lana pushing away the man in this video and having an overall more optimistic tone to much of Lust For Life. Idk I was just thinking about this for a long time

  • This song is about how someone who literally saw a white mustang and fell in love with it. Aka she loves the material world. The man with the white mustang is obviously a terrible lover. She honestly doesn’t even like being in the car “you’re revving it up, and the sound was frightening.” He drives the car scary, doesn’t make her feel safe. I’m sure they had the honeymoon phase in the beginning but that passed, and she saw his true colors. So that’s why she says “WHY AM I STAYING” in the last chorus instead of “white mustang” THEN follows up “ …….. said… you’re a wild mustang” as if the man was like ‘did you say, why am I staying’ she replies no (but she did), and ‘said you’re a wild mustang.’ Which is so cool to me lol. She likes the material the man brings but she is not fulfilled with love. That’s what white mustang means to me after playing it 1000000000x thank you.

    • This song is about Lana's latest scandal with producer G Easy, they were somewhat dating, he begged her to sing in his new song, she refused (no wonder, that guy's music sucks) so he replaced her with Halsey (eeek). The point of the video is, she knew and knows her worth, liking him yet pushing him away in the end. **That guy's known for singing about expensive cars he owns (name of the song Mustang) and leather jackets (similar outfit as the guy in the vid).
