When you walk to Monkey Pod, instead of taking a right to cross the street, go straight along the same sidewalk as Aulani. There's a parking lot there and in the middle of the parking lot by the trees, there's an entrance and walkway. That takes you to Secret Beach. You'll be able to swim with Turtles and Sea Lions, it's wild. It's such a beautiful little spot, it's worth checking out.
Yes!!! I saw SO many cool things snorkeling over there! It was not too crowded either.
A friend of mine went to the Four Seasons next door almost every morning for breakfast. He even went for a dinner or two. He said the food was much better than Aulani. I also had jet lag the whole time there. I found it very relaxing to seat on my balcony early in the morning watching the staff get the pools ready
Being the Moana character or any talking character looks exhausting Have to come up with things to talk about for a few minutes for every group that wants a picture/meet you 😅
Always very smart and respectful to do a little research on the regions you visit :)) that way you won’t end up making any mistakes or crossing a sacred line. Hawaii has a lot of really sacred history you should look into

I saved your videos for my hospital stay. I broke my hip and had to have 2 pins put in. I go on to rehab when a bed is available. once home for a couple of weeks, I can finally get my cancer treatment going Thanks for all you do in sharing your life with us.
Hahaha *love* the part about the Menehune, Kyle - I remember back in 1980, I was on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu in United Airlines First Class with a British friend of mine - we were offered "Menehune Juice" on the plane, and were told about the mythical little Menehune in Hawaii, but were also warned that if we didn't drink the Menehune Juice (a specialty drink then offered by United which apparently had a significant alcohol content), we would never have any chance of seeing those elusive little Menehune when we got to Hawaii... obviously, we decided to partake copiously of the elixir so that those Menehune would not escape us LOLOL !! That was a very FUN flight!

Be so careful with sun exposure! It's a tropical sun and my first time in Hawaiian sun I was careful and out for 15 minutes only and almost ruined my stay with sun poisoning. I hope someone warned you! Have an awesome time and enjoy every second!
Brilliant design with the buildings in a horseshoe and a giant water park in the middle. Oh yeah the lagoon right there too. Looks amazing.

It really is amazing to wake up before the rest of the world and sit in tranquility. Zen. Also, Olivia was important to my life in my younger years because I connected with the character she played in Grease, Sandy. Raised a good girl, edgy on the inside. Up for an adventure. Her presence lives on.
Love the grass talk. When it’s nice grass you have to sit and enjoy.
Fun little thing overthere: There is at lobby a table/Cabinet with a big Menehune on it. The table/cabinet has a big Keyhole. If you look through it, you will see a mini Menehue village... Continue to enjoy your stay overthere!
If you want another lei the abc store sells them! Also want all the pineapple go to the dole plantation! The train ride is really cute and has great views.
Love Monkey Pod!! So glad you got to check it out!! You're making me miss Aulani!! Miss the pools, the music, the ambience!! Yes you will get tired early. I usually want to crash around 7:30pm. Always wide awake at 5am when I go to Hawaii. I feel the same way you do about the grass in Hawaii... love it!! So glad you guys got to have this amazing experience Kyle and JoJo!! If you set your lei in a plate of a little water at night you can refresh it for each day! 👍🏼🥳 oooooh’ and if you can stop by the Byodo-In temple ...it’s truly a beautiful (free) space to enjoy!!! Those flowers on your food IS edible. It’s a form of cabbage and tastes unique

My husband and I have been to the Hawaiian islands many times. The time difference between east coast to Hawaiian time is HARD. It usually took 3 days to get acclimated. But it's such a beautiful place and totally worth it! Aulani looks beautiful.

I've never been to Hawaii but I know a lot of the things apparently you didn't. You leave your Lei on stitch when you leave as an offer back to the island because it came from there. They are not for you to take. Also you get a Lei when you arrive on the island not at every single place you visit. Why did you have to change rooms?

I've never been to Aulani, I did have a timeshare with my ex-husband in Maui. The one thing local told me never take rocks or sand from Hawaii because of Pele's Curse. I respected that and did not take anything. Have a great time🌺🌺🌺🌺

The Four Seasons next door has amazing food. We had the best food of our stay there- worth the effort and the expense. Also, the poke bowls at the Alauni quick service are fabulous!

I am glad you had a great time there at this resort. Yes, you wake up in the mornings on those long-haul trip's kind of early but many times you get use to waking up in the new time there with everyone else...It is nice to walk around early in the morning. That is how a lot of people get some exercise by walking in the morning when there is not a lot of people outside.
Island vintage is no longer there. But there are still locations around the island that serve their awesome açaí bowls.
Your videos lift my spirits. My father passed away 2 wks ago and the Aulani videos brighten my days. Thank you Kyle for giving me that. 💕

There are hundred of Hawaiian animals carved into the rock formations all over the resort. I feel like not many people talk about them. They are awesome! The lazy river is full of them!
I hope you get out of the resort and drive around the island and explore the sheer beauty of that island! Plus you NEED to have some malasadas from Leonards and shaved ice from Uncle Clays!!! Also there are lots of amazing food around Waikiki and all of rhe beaches! We were in Honolulu last October and have lots of tips if you want. Please leave the resort at some point. The island is gorgeous!!
Hope you've enjoyed your trip. It's my absolute favorite resort I've ever stayed at, anywhere in the world. Beautiful and jam packed with things to do or just not do and ride the lazy river all day.

If you look carefully at the rocks along the lazy river and the volcano around the slides you’ll see tons of sea animals carved into it, similar to the tree of life at DAK. It’s fun to point out as many as possible!

There's our waterpark King back at it! Nobody does waterpark videos better! It's exhausting relaxing all day with incredible food and drinks huh? I hope your week in Hawaii Kyle keeps getting better and better!! Now you know why we've been there FOUR TIMES!!!! There's no place on Earth like it! P.S. Since we cannot fly direct from the Philadelphia Airport, we always had a break between flights going and coming in California, so we never had a jet lag problem (except for our first trip home, back in 1999). Make sure to visit Pearl Harbor too! Loving your vibes while in Aulani! Our Maui timeshare is small, so we never felt crowed at the pool and we are across the street from the beach. Also, Maui has the best beaches in Hawaii (have you ever seen black lava sand?) but your beach isn't too shabby either!

Kyle, it looks like you're having SO much fun already! My suggestion is to have the Ono and Opah fish whenever you see it on the menu, if you like fish that's some of the best Hawaiian fish you can get! Breaded shrimp you can get anywhere 🙂
If you can get up really early and drive to the east side where the sun rises and you can see it peak over the ocean as it rises. I swear it will be worth whatever amount of sleep you get to make it happen. Lanikai is great with the twin islands. Or if you go to makapuu look our
The best breakfast I've ever had in my life was at the restaurant in Aulani. It was the macadamia nut pancakes with a Pog Mimosa. So wonderful!

If you scheduled the luau they have you will see Mickey and Minnie there too. The Aquarian is rainbow reef. You can snorkel. Have Joni to film you swimming toward the window. So cool!

Hey Kyle and Jojo... While your there ask for a cast member named Tai.. Tell him the Sisters are coming back Dawn and Deb... Lol We were just there in February and going again in December and he was THE BEST!!! Don't forget to do as much as you can but the beach is the most relaxing. Try the Mexican restaurant across the street the Margarita flight is amazing!! Anyways have a fabulous time, and don't worry about seeing/doing everything, cause you'll be back... Dawn

Hey Kyle!! To ease your worries about the ocean in the Ko’olina area, these are all man made beaches for the resorts and where you see the rocks out in the middle of the ocean, there are nets to make sure large ocean life don’t make it on to the Ko’olina lagoons. All the lagoons in Ko’olina are man made!!!! So no worries you are safe 🤙🏽!!!!!

I visited Oahu from CA. I stayed at the Marriott, two resorts down from the Aulani. I was up around 5:30 every morning. I’d go for a walk/jog daily along the path that runs along the ocean. Lots of Mongooses (Mongeese?) at the end of the path. Have a blast!

Next time you're across the street, Black Sheep Ice Cream is amazing,! Also, keep looking for more sea animals in the rock work in the center of the water park. Easy to spot the turtle on top of the water slides from the lobby viewpoint, and the whales near the exit of the tube water slide.
Hi ya.. go 2 doors down .. Marriotts .. outside snack shack and get the chicken wings.. they are so big and delicious. Don’t forget to go to the ABC store to stock up on food, drinks and munches. .. located 1 block from Aulani.
