Marvel Reveals INSANE FANTASTIC FOUR DETAILS! Alternate Universe Confirmed!
Marvel Studios reveals the plot of the Fantastic Four MCU reboot movie! Marvel Studios released a first look at Johnny Storm as his superhero The Human Torch and with that, revealed the plot and villains of the Fantastic Four. They also revealed the alternate universe in which the Fantastic Four reboot will take place in! Galactus and the Silver Surfer will be the villains but they will have a twist to them. The Fantastic Four will ultimately tie into Avengers Secret Wars in a very huge way and we breakdown how that happens in this video!

I find the idea of incorporating the Fantastic Four from an alternate universe into the Marvel Cinematic Universe truly fascinating. The prospect of having Dr. Doom as an ally, only to eventually bring him into the primary universe and have him betray the Fantastic Four, is undeniably exhilarating.
It makes sense. Having them be “from the quantum realm” has already been done with Wasp. Time to do something different, huh? Why not use the multiverse to have that be their origin?
I'm tired of them Scrambling the universes and just messing up really important timelines and Things that were supposed to happen but got screwed up because of shit Dplus shows.😅
That 60s aesthetic of the FANTASTIC FOUR means that the TVA, which also has a 50s/60s aesthetic to it, is connected to FANTASTIC FOUR. We already know this makes sense because Kang the Conqueror is a descendant of Reed Richards 😊

@@omegaminoseer4539 maybe Nathan/Kang worked with Von Doom, who created a “time machine.” In his introduction in FANTASTIC FOUR #5, DrDoom created MARVEL COMICS’ first “time machine.” He traps the FANTASTIC FOUR in the 17th century for them to get him a pirates treasure. Perhaps Von Doom, who works with both Nathan/Kang and Reed in a Jetsons-style/futuristic 1960s alternate universe, is the first to create a “time machine” to save his mother from being burned at the stake in Latveria in the 1910s/1920s for being a witch. However, Nathan/Kang steals said “time machine” and begins using it for personal gain. He then created alternate universes because of his careless usage of the “time machine.” Maybe it will be revealed that THAT FANTASTIC FOUR universe is the real prime universe, given that the MARVEL AGE of comics began with FANTASTIC FOUR #1 in 1961. Also, perhaps we’ve been following an alternate universe since 2008 😊

I’m getting Tomorrowland vibes from the city’s artwork and I LOVE IT!!!!! That futuristic yet 60s pop art from shows like the Jetsons and Star Trek, those classic sci-fi movies, the Marvel comics themselves and Disneyland’s Tomorrowland are so classic and retro. I think this is a brilliant idea.

The Fantastic Four being from another universe is a great creative decision. This gives Matt Shackman the ability to do literally anything he wants with his movie, besides, of course, where the characters end up in by the end. They could literally have Galactus be the villain of the movie and completely destroy the entire universe if they want to because it's not the main timeline, so they could literally do whatever they want, no matter how insane it is. This is the best choice they could have made for the setting of the movie, in my opinion. Plus, the promotional images of a Neo-futuristic ideal 60s New York looks like the perfect setting for a Fantastic Four movie! As for the "drama" with Sliver Surfer: Shalla-Bal is the love interest of Norin Radd, but she became a Silver Surfer herself on Earth-9997. The Fantastic Four is not set in the MCU, and they really want to set that point across by using alternate universe elements like these. Nothing about her inclusion in this film does anything to indicate the lack of Norrin Radd. If anything, this implies he will be in the movie. Why are we acting like if she exists, Norrin can't?
The drama with Silver Surfer is justified, it doesn’t matter that it’s an alternate universe and she’s a version from the comics, we as fans want the most familiar & popular iteration of the character, wouldn’t you have been dissatisfied if they had put Miles Morales in Captain America Civil War instead of Peter Parker that’s the same thing here, you can’t blame fans for wanting an accurate adaptation of the character.
I think the problem is that the 1st time they're introducing the big bad Galactus and Silver Surfer is that they are using a weaker non sought after (literally dollar book) comic. Without Norrin in this movie in a huge significant role like the rumors were saying multiple heralds, then the movie is not going to do well at all. They basically took the hype from a 10 down to a 5 with announcing Shalla Bal. If the rumors about multiple heralds were true then basically Marvel fumbled it by announcing her first causing chaos. Really bad PR move, but if she is legit the only herald then yeah the movie is kinda doomed with probably Ant-Man 3 level performance which was considered a disappointment.

Damn it, DeBreeze and Wiggl, you both still don't get what Marvelous is trying to say!?!? For the past F4 movies, Norin Rad has been their iteration of the silver surfer! All Marvel wants to do is change it up a little! If anything, this is helping them introduce the concept of the new universe this F4 movie is going to take place in!! And as for DeBreeze's unaccurate comparison, the only reason that making miles morales the spider-man in civil war would be a bad idea is because in earth 616, Miles isn't even part of the avengers! Since the F4 movie is going to take place in another universe, not found in the comics though, they can do whatever they want! Marvelous gamer is the only one I've seen In all these comment sections that is actually making some sense and taking time to think of the situation! He even went as far as to gather information on the topic so that he can enlighten the minds of you both! Call us arrogant or annoying, but in the end, we'll sit in the movie theater appreciating the movie for it's qualities, and making silver surfer a female, even if it doesn't look like it now, Is a quality.
Yeah, everyone knows that. The problem is that this obscure version of the character( from one non canon book) is going to be cemented in pop culture and in the minds of general audiences as the definitive Silver Surfer. At least until we get a proper adaptation of the character and that may not happen for years, maybe not until after Secret Wars. Now, instead of introducing the most compassionate, empathetic and eloquent male character in comics to the MCU and telling his epic tale from malevolent slave to fallen angel to repentant hero, they're going to drop all of that for his one dimensional girlfriend from 20 years ago. Besides Silver Surfer Requiem, Shalla Baal hasn't been a factor in Silver Surfer comics since the 80s, and he's had a lot of better written love intrestsince then. I’ve said this multiple times but ThebFantastic Four being set in an alternate universe/timeline makes perfect sense. The only other explanation to their absence from the main MCU universe is the negative zone or they get time-displaced like Captain America did. As long as they focus on the story and don’t focus too much on the multiverse it’s fine.

Having them come from a fun, retro-future 1960s would also give them an explanation for why they are optimistic and forward thinking. It might make them seem cheesy if they were just from the MCU, but this way it makes perfect sense and even expected and appreciated by the audience.

Shalla Ball in the comics is still secondary even in the alternate universe . I think Marvel just hasn’t announced who they cast as Norran Rad and they are just letting the discussion circulate before they announce it or he will be a surprise in the film.
Also, the Silver Surfer thing feels like a distraction and it's actually Norrin Radd's backstory leading to him becoming the Sliver surfer. He'll still have to sacrifice himself and become The Surfer to save her? This would give that character depth and backstory.
A futuristic city set in the 60's, makes me think of the movies and TV shows back then and how they perceived the future and how things would look, and I think that aspect is what they are going for, and shoot the film like they did back then too. It's going to be great to see what they come up with.

I think with them needing to add mutants and fallen avengers from our universe, that the most likely thing is that it will be a an entire new universe merged together, or The main marvel universe from the movies will collapse into another's universe that already has those people alive.
