this lady came to pick me up at school when I was in like 1st grade, she said my mom came to pick me up and I would not budge and go with her the office staff had to reassure me like 5 times and I finally got in the car with her and she took me to my house, I then realised this was my neighbors teen daughter who babysat me when I was like 3. but it took the whole front office to convince me to go in her car while these kids just jumped right in
And here I had to walk home about a mile every day since kindergarten (through middle school) 🤣🤣🤣 all these ppl getting picked up 🤣🤣🤣 but also he knew their names and said them 🤷🏼♀️ I mean I guess he could stalk them online or something, but would be pretty weird... in elementary school we had assemblies at the beginning of every year where they talked about stranger danger and having a password you and your parents know and if they were to ever pick u up, they would tell the person and you would ask for the password to know they could be trusted 🤷🏼♀️ I don’t think there ever was a kidnapping here though (aside from like something parents fighting custody and “kidnapping” their own kids)🤷🏼♀️

For the child kidnapping thing, a way to make sure that they aren’t lying is to develop a code in your family. So if the code was purple giraffe, and some one says “Hey, I know your mom she told me to pick you up” “Oh ok, what’s the password?” If they don’t know it go back into your school or where ever and text your mom. Ask if she meant for them to pick you up and forgot to tell them the code, or if it’s a stranger.
