    • I really do hope Ariel has one with Aldo, even if it is complicated with a translator. These interviews are usually with the champs and best fighters, I would love to hear a deep interview with Aldo. It would be unfair if they didn't.

  • He is so far ahead of his years as far as his mental outlook goes. There is a dangerous, obsessive focus about him and how he analyzes every little situation, keeps up with all developing news such as Aldo's coach talking about his retirement, how he watches footage of his opponent and analyzes a fight with far more depth than all his peers. You just don't see that with all these other fighters who give generic answers and let their coach analyze the footage for them. There is a great video on YT of his SBG coach, John Kavanagh, talking about how he received a phone call from Conor one day talking about the movement of Gorillas in a video he saw and how he wanted to emulate their movement. The creativity of thinking out of the box is what's so striking about this man.

Instead of wasting your time obsessing over your hatred, I suggest you do something productive like Conor is doing by improving yourself. Instead of calling random people on the internet idiots, I suggest you spend your time more productively. Stop obsessing over the opinions and observations of strangers. Only losers waste their time arguing fruitlessly over the internet.

    • Ryoji Kitomi Yes possibly, but he isn't facing a newcomer so he probably understands that any mental advantage he can get the better over Jose Aldo. The thing about the UFC which is different than any other combat sport is at the top of the division their matchmaking is designed to test you, and not to give you an easy ride mostly from what I've seen. So if Conor beats the one dimensional but very effective muay thai style of Aldo in his 1st attempt, then the UFC will give him who is next not anyone else better suited to his need. Two very aggressive wrestler punchers are at the top of the division! And in case he loses the drawback could possibly be bigger as far as criticism from fans because of the trash talk not the confidence before this fight not the others, and if Aldo changes divisions after the fight and moves up in weight it will be even worse for Mcgregor because he may have to chase him or stay in the division fighting the wrestlers!

This video shows his humility and loyalty to people in his life as well as his gratitude for good things which have come his way, both through hard work and good fortune, yet the title depicts any other Conor McGregor interview. Good interview, click bait title, hope he wins in 7 weeks though.

  • I really enjoyed the interview, Ariel asked many questions that were never asked before... everybody has been complaining about how much he shows off the money he is getting, the treatment etc... and Conor's response was absolutely marvelous, I believe he said something like: "The people who take inspiration from me will rise up and also one day experience this life. Others will shell up and be negative towards it,". He also asked him about not having other women etc... and Conor responded about his loyalty to his girlfriend and how much he appreciates and credit's his success to her for being with him in the early days. And mainly I loved the fact about how he describes his team and his close circle "no comes in, no one goes out". His confidence has always been on top, but no one can deny the skills this guy posseses... and just by this interview alone, the amount of pressure he is just adding to himself to win this fight is overwhelming.... you just don't see that ever! I respect Aldo, he is a true warrior, but this guy is just something else and instead of critizing him.... lets enjoy the beginning of this magnificent journey of the making of an all time great.

  • "Whats he gonna do!?!" Will almost as epic as 300s "this is sparta!" I respect he hasnt forgotten who has helped him and he is sticking with his team. As he grows his greats grows ans as they grow he grows. Its the best way to be.

  • Probably one on Conor's best interviews. Ariel caught him at a nice time while his mind is focused and it made for a good inside look at his form. Deadly

  • This video showed that he actually respects Aldo a lot more than UFC likes to portray, he's just like any other competitor in the sense that he thinks he can win, and given what he said in this interview, a business minded competitor at that

  • Great interview Ariel. Some really good questions in this video. Ariel seems to have moved on from when he used to be much more of an instigator and provoker. Keep up the good work!

  • When Conor said he hasn't stopped working since his injury it made me realise just how much he hasn't stopped until this day. He recovered from injury, fought Diego Brandao, went straight into the Poirier fight then into the Dennis Siver fight, from that into a world tour which lead to the Chad Mendes fight. He came straight off that and into The Ultimate Fighter, follewed by the Jose Aldo fight. Then fought Nate Diaz 3 months later, got into the the UFC 200 chaos followed by UFC 202 Diaz rematch. Before finally UFC 205 in New York. All of that in the space of 2 and a bit years is INSANE.

  • Ariel, I hope you are reading this comment. This interview was your best ever. You have matured. Your interview approach is better. No more dings and sideway questions being asked where you upset the interviewee and sabotage yourself. I like the new you! Keep it coming Ariel, this was good stuff.
