idk how anyone can hate this guy, his story and willingness to dig deep to win the belt is amazing and should be celebrated.
Who's hating??? I don't see anyone hating except the Mexicans which is common sense
Another champion that will lay on someone for 5 rounds. Great.
@@Jason21012 he's finished moreno in the past and if you look at his record, he's hardly a decision fighter.
@@tray3483 Not the same Moreno tho...
He wasn't respectful of Moreno after Brandon's victory at 283. "I'm next!" Let the man enjoy the night.
Man, I knew next to nothing about this guy a few days ago, and now he just keeps making me emotional 😥 what a hero
a killer huh? he is like a terminator. i knew he had a chance to win and he pulled through
Could you donate to him to get a decent haircut please. 💇♂️ 💈 He needs it more than ever and Dana can't afford to pay him as much.
@@daixer3156😂
casual
@@GeneralKnoxxx what's the opposite of a "casual?"
His father doesn’t deserve him. The fact he’s still welcoming him with open arms shows exactly what heart this man has. He more of a man than his father will ever be. Your mom and yourself did the work
there are alot people that have the background where at least one of the parents doesn't care about the kids. Some grown up and able to tolerate and mend the relationship, some will keep distant with the parent and hold that grudge forever.
@@kenthan2692 yeah and everyone of them should get a nod of respect for going through it and making it
I agree. My mother raised my 2 brothers and i alone so when he said that, i was like whoa, the words resonated so much for me.
This guy is more than just MMA. The sacrifices he & his wife have made for each other & for their kids... it's really moving to see him, to hear him, talking about that... not to get sympathies from the viewer... but to say he'd do it all over again, just to be a better man, a better husband, and a better father... extraordinary man, extraordinary athlete...
And yet Dana pays them peanuts … he was doing Uber eats two years ago that’s just disgusting
@@sanchoooo710hahahah. I knew that was him brining my McDonald's. He even brought it to the wrong house. I was pissed but I gave him a $10 tip for a $20 order just cuz we live in a really, really, nice house. It's worth over a million. My family is AZN. So we can afford that and more. We probably make more than fighters combine in like three of four fighters. That's peanuts 🥜 man. How can the UFC Under Funded Champions 🏆 do that to their fighter's? They are the ones bringing in the money. Yet they allow all this foolishness going on. Dana so rich, yet fighter's ate not. Did he say that his wife was married to another woman? :face:palm: 🌴 🤲
I’m happy for him. His entire life is about to get even better. We all love Moreno, but this is also a great person to represent the ufc as champion. There’s nothing better than seeing a champion win for the first time. Very happy for him & his family. His kids are lucky to have him as a father
So true… it is possible to love both guys. Huge Moreno fan… but boy I love this guy, too. What a fighter.
Fighting his whole life to prove to his father, what a Man and Father should be.
I gotta say I was hard core rooting for Moreno, But when this guy started giving his speech amongst a sea of BOOS as he was still catching his breath from an all out war and the crowd quieted as they listened to what he had to say it was like a scene out of a movie it was really something to experience live
True man. That moved me to tears

Boooooo!!!! Movie 🎬: Kickboxing 62
They made him look like the bad guy during the promos but man Pantoja is inspiring af. Injured, driving uber and he wanted to fight.
This is why interviews like this are very important. Post fight interviews are brief, but very bold. At least here it gave him a chance to elaborate more and show to those who don't know his story , what he's about and where he came from. I'm still a Moreno fan all the way , but I can always respect gracious n honorable wins as this.
no other sport gives the fan this level of access. its amazing
Booooooo!!!!!
@@lowlowseeseeor money 💰 which is very poor. Hahaha
absolutely great interview. he gave so much unprompted insight into his life and mindset. we all love moreno for who he is, i now feel the same for Pantoja. he basically said “i have no enemies”
20min mark i fell in love with this Dude. The relationship he has with Brandon Moreno having seen him at the hospital post fight needs to be in a Movie! Congrats 👑🙌🏽💯🇧🇷
Crazy!! I was just reading your post at the same time I was seeing the 20 minute mark. That has to be destiny. But Destiny just diesld last week. She had an OD on dog pills. What are Dogg pills? The stuff for bugs not to eat her dog. But she decided that she would take them cuz that's how hooked on drugs she was that she trying to take anything that she thought was a stimulant. Girls are gross these days. Hopefully she just opens a OF account and makes money off that, right?
A true inspirational champion! I‘ve always liked Pantojas as a fighter but never knew too much about him as a person. Big thumbs up and all the best, much love from Switzerland
This made me tear up man

What a victory in life this man gained. He was fighting one fight inside the cage and many more outside of it. Respect Champ.
I always thought Pantoja was so damn good, just needed a chance to shine. What a great guy! Congrats Brazil 🇧🇷
There are many out there that feel this same pain. He's probably ten times better a father than he would have been had his father been in his life. Massive respect to guy.
I'm not crying, you're crying
😂best comment by far ❤ .... I tear up just looking at the guy now !!
i knew absolutely nothing about him but when i saw him face off against brandon you can tell their was something in his eyes and in his face. i was rooting for him, glad he won. great story
Incredible moment when he brings his sons in to celebrate his title win!
Pantoja is the real life rocky from the fighting style to the emotional post fight speech
This guy is a warrior i was so happy for him
Well done Ariel with interview and giving him a platform to tell his story
.and explaining what a grandson is in our language 😢
Pantoja vs Moreno was one of the most exciting title fights I’ve seen this year. Great stuff.
Bro respect and love for this man really opened up and got personal
Idk how this dude kept fighting… he had nothing left but I know the hunger or Brazilians who live in Brazil. They will do ANYTHING to help their families! I’ve been around Brazilian people most of my life in Boston. They’re some of the hardest working people, 3 jobs sleeping 5 hrs a day for years so they can change the life of their families. This Brazilian dude used to work for my dad, he managed to save like 100k in 5 years but got robbed by his roommates! I felt so bad for him because I saw how hard he used to work. He would fall asleep standing up sometimes and my dad would just let him sleep in the truck. He still paid him the same amount just felt bad for the guy. Ten years later my dad told me he saved his money again and now lives in his own farm in Brazil. That was his dream and I hope him and his family are doing good.
funny that you said you are from Boston, my uncle went to there to try to give my little cousin a better life (We are Brazilians). He work for about 12 hours, and last year my grandmother's passed away and he couldn't see her for the last time because of his work. Strickland it's kind dumb but in this subject he is right: Brazilians are tough because we know what it's to live a rough life.
Top ranked fighter driving Uber eats is ridiculous.
Let the salty moreno fans cry. This man fought his ass off and deserves the belt
Eff you!! See yah at the next PPV ese
As someone who grew up with absent parents i feel for the man
People hate on Ariel but it’s stuff like this that redeems him
It’s sucks he had to climb all the way to champ to even be noticed or get any sort of respect from anyone
Whoopsie gotta have that Tootsie
Same happened with volk
So glad Pantoja won and hopefully he's earned everyone's respect now
Awesome story from Alejandro and love and support from his team! Thank you Ariel for this wonderful interview.. you had me with tears of joy
I can't stop crying for this simps. Booooo whooooo simps
😢😢 You deserve all the success and the love for being a good human being and for what you have gone through. Congratulations, Alexandre!
The son teaching father how to become real father Don't need to fight for his proud Just fight for somebody who still care about you Don't need to fight for horrible father
Great interview!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Wow ... what a story.. when you think your life is tough . and hear someone's , you understand what life really is right away.. .. you got love this guy if you have a heart... so inspirational..
What a simp. We tired of simp stories cuznit just gets simps to feel sorry for other simps
Wow, i didn't know about about this man but I'm am instant fan. He was offended at the conference because people (moreno fans) were booing him. I felt badly about that. I love Brandon, i was hoping for an assassin baby win, but it didn't sting as much after seeing what this win meant to this man. I appreciate him sharing his story. That type of stuff turns fightets into favorites (for me). Congrats to to Alexandre!!!
I continue believing in this dude. Pantoja for the W. Hard work pays.
yo wth I just became aware of this dude like 2 weeks ago and all of a sudden im a huge fan! made me emotional during his post fight interview and now this.. god bless u man u earned that win
Phenomenal segment! Thank you for sharing this!
Ain't gonna lie, I knew nothing about him. Thought he was the villain b/c Moreno had a great story too but both competitors can be heroes. Great interview and wish him the best. I'm a fan now.
This is one of the best interviews ever...what a man. I wish you well
17:33 Without doubt, the best Interview hosted by Ariel. Memorable stuff.
No, best interview is post Strickland. Now that's an interview man. Soo honest yet sooo crude. Yet he tried to remember all the interviewers name. Now that's a real Murican. And we love him for it cuz no one else would do such a great thing. This guy is a simp. Wanting everyone feeling sorry for him. This isn't the fight game. Grow up homie. Be known foe your fight efforts. Not your sorry sad story that you want everyone feeling sorry for simp!!!
Thanks brother!
earned a new fan with this one
I am a fan of him now. Great interview Ariel. What a hardship in his earlier life, especially for such deeply sensitive and emotional guy.
Such a humble nice but also dangerous guy ! Proper man 👨
Beautiful interview
LEGEND
Bless you, brother!!
I didn’t even know about pantoja a few weeks ago, but now I’m a big fan. Will be watching all his fights going forward
What a great 👍 interview from Alexandre Panocha!👏👏👏
Down to earth warrior he never disappoints in fights 🔥🔥🔥
Just rewatched the fight I’m Mexican and had it 4-1 for Pantoja tbh. Brandon needs to throw kicks! He just boxes. Needs to mix things up but the body and legs more and he just got outgrappled Moreno needs a lot of work man
Maybe the game plan was to not throw too many kicks to avoid the takedown, didn’t work though
Pantoja was determined to win this fight-you can tell
@@burlhorse61tetermine to have society feel sorry for the simp. Have people love him for his fighting efforts. Not cuz people feel sorry for you hahaha
i am a huge assassin baby fan and oh boy what a fight.. all the respect in the world to Pantoja, dude is tough on another level and well earned win champ
This guy is a good guy, liked because hes open and honest. I just hope he surrounds himself with the right people.
Huge fan of Pantoja. He's a warrior and a gentleman
Life is so tough but so fair he got the W and made history. Family sucks but he has his own now. A new beginning. Congrats champ.
Love this guy!!
Wow mans was battling demons on that night. No wonder he didnt get rocked nor phased at anything that night. Moreno was slinging straight leather and all was landing. Big respect to Pantoja and congrats.
Wish u all the best brother
huge fan, what a guy.
For a moment the fight seemed the story of rocky balboa pantoja congratulations you are great
Love this guy.
My god 😢, what a journey. I honestly have to say that the character of this divisions champions is head and shoulders above the rest. Moreno couldn't have lost to a better person and i would pay to see 4 more of these two guys no problem 💯!!
Love this guy !
He really opened up here. Crazy.
Seeing his post fight interview instantly made me a fan
Made me an enemy
Respect from Poland. Good luck
Champion in life!!!
Dam this makes me jealous, the amount of effort and how far he is willing to go for his family. Wish my pops had that mentality but it is what it is haha
I hate when people say the “he just hugged” stuff and I really love Pantoja. I was actually hoping he won. But, Moreno won the fight. Pantoja had no answer for him on the feet and did not damage other than the first round on the ground.
warrior much respect
My new favorite fighter 😊
Wow Ariel, you insulted him a few months ago that nobody knows who he is. Now that hes a champion, hes your “friend”.
👏 congratulations 🎊
"If you don't know, now you know" Alexandre Pantoja
Great story and we'll deserved victory
I went into this fight a massive Brandon Moreno fan. While I was sad that he lost, im glad it was to a good ass dude like Pantoja. I'm a fan now!
What a great story, knew nothing about him about him apart from his fighting.
Fight of the year. Look at his face at the end of the fight.
Simps of the year. Maybe century. Stop having fans feelnsorry for you
Look at his hair
I had no idea he was that hard up for cash. I just remember that season of TUF and thinking how good he was. Shame on you all that booed this guy. I was pulling for Moreno but certainly wasn’t upset with this guy winning. And no folks, it wasn’t a robbery. Congrats champ.
Im glad i was a big fan of him before seeing him become Champ make his victory more appreciative

THIS IS LIKE A HERO STORY GUYS I CRIED LISTENING TO PANTOJA
Amazing that he became champ with very little support. Of course he trains at a great gym, but if he wasn't so determined and talented nobody would care about him.
2 fights ago he was delivering food and working as a uber driver
Unfortunately, the UFC doesn't care about the flyweight division

Real Champ
Leta go!!
I love moreno but this guys authenticity has won me over wow!
American Top Team does it once again!
Great champion 🔥🔥🔥
Let's go Champ
He's champ because his tough beginnings...The poster on AP's wall is hilarious...
I think they should do 1 more together, because Brandon gave him every opportunity to be able to take care of his family and country, that to me is a true sportsmanship with all respect,
It's always nice to see good people make it to the top. Congrats champ! 👏
