The sacrifices he & his wife have made for each other & for their kids... it's really moving to see him, to hear him, talking about that... not to get sympathies from the viewer... but to say he'd do it all over again, just to be a better man, a better husband, and a better father... extraordinary man, extraordinary athlete...

  • Idk how this dude kept fighting… he had nothing left but I know the hunger or Brazilians who live in Brazil. They will do ANYTHING to help their families! I’ve been around Brazilian people most of my life in Boston. They’re some of the hardest working people, 3 jobs sleeping 5 hrs a day for years so they can change the life of their families. This Brazilian dude used to work for my dad, he managed to save like 100k in 5 years but got robbed by his roommates! I felt so bad for him because I saw how hard he used to work. He would fall asleep standing up sometimes and my dad would just let him sleep in the truck. He still paid him the same amount just felt bad for the guy. Ten years later my dad told me he saved his money again and now lives in his own farm in Brazil. That was his dream and I hope him and his family are doing good.

He work for about 12 hours, and last year my grandmother's passed away and he couldn't see her for the last time because of his work. Strickland it's kind dumb but in this subject he is right: Brazilians are tough because we know what it's to live a rough life.
