  • Saenchai is just playing with him. By 11:30 just look at the difference in damage on their faces, Saenchai jumping around full of smiles, Embree with a messed up left eye and worse for wear. There are only a couple of sports-people like this every generation. Saenchai is to Muay Thai as Pele was to football.

    • The best part is that Embree thinks he's smart in illegaly pushing is head against saenchai face during clinches while in the meantime saenchai and the referee are joking about elbowing him to the neck while he do that, and he doesn't even notice

  • This was the perfect opponent for Saenchai to go down his checklist of spectacular techniques and land every one at least once. I've seen Saenchai lose to an 18 and 19 year old opponents in Yakkao promotions. So these guys all get a chance to make a name if they miraculously beat him. And Saenchai got to go through the antics that we all love so much. And Matt should feel good about his performance. There are over 270 defeated fighters that had to deal with the same thing, He's not better than just you - he's better than 98% of everybody

  • im new to muay thai but why dont they utilize more inside boxing in that clinch they are always in. also liver punches i never see them either. just curious

    • Juancho Vazquez I've been doing MT for quite a while now and they mostly uses elbow and knees in clinches as they are way more effective (i.e. more chance of inflicting cuts or liver shots with the knees) and they do some liver shots but with the "kard cheuk" rule, they're basically using rope to wrap around their fist to protect knuckles and therefore, in my own experience I'll probably prefer to go for facial shots especially around the eye sockets as that's going to easily screw up their vision if you land one hit.

    • He's an awesome coach! He used to coach at Bazooka, in Scarborough. He is very missed. That being said, I'm happy to see him succeed as both a fighter and a coach. Kalsamrit looks awesome and is where I'd train if I were in your neck of the woods.

  • Saenchai would fuck conor up without a doubt.... Thai fighters know how to grapple and saenchai is awfully gifted in that area aswell ...So for anyone believing that conor can freely try to do throws, trips or any type of freestyle wrestling takedowns thinking it will easily work on saenchai, then they are clueless about any of theses techniques. I would however have doubts about saenchai’s ground work skills since muay thai doesn’t require having thoses and obviously conor would have an advantage over saenchai if he got lucky enough to put him in that situation which i seriously doubt it because by then, saenchai would broken every bone in conor’s face and body. You don’t believe me, just check out what theses professional muyai thai fighters do to each other in order to be able to feed themselves and their loves ones for a while........

    • Two totally different styles. Buakaw plows through his opponents and takes a lot of hits. Saenchai is a master of evasion and feeling the intention of the other other fighter. It's why he makes it look so easy. He rarely gets hit cleanly and when he does he makes the other fighter pay.

  • ต่อยแบบไม่ใส่นวม ต่อยยากมาก เพราะมันใช้หน้ารับหมัดไม่ได้ ต้องห้ามโดนอย่างเดียว โดนทุกครั้งเจ็บทุกครั้ง แต่ถ้ามวยใส่นวม มันเจ็บแบบพอทนได้ จึงเกร็งคอรับหมัดได้ในบางครั้ง
