this guys the biggest gentlemen in the ufc
Such a classy attitude, a true man and a true warrior. Best of luck to both
Darren Ferguson yes
him and whittaker are probably the two nicest guys in the ufc
That's why he'll never be champ.
for sure
So humble, even after that, what a guy.
Dude was robbed
Migatte no Gokui Goku big time.
Migatte no Gokui Goku he did nothing though.
John Smith Idiots
KieronSFF even after what? He lost and thats it
This guy is a class act
What a lovely bloke, not many would still have agreed to fight till given the weight difference
There was 3 pounds? Same weight as a bag of sugar lad 😂
TA R That's factually incorrect because till would have been heavier if he made weight, because he would have been able to rehydrate and eat the night before, rather than having to be 188 only 8 hours before the fight.
Wonderboy said himself he's not worried about how much a guy weighs, he fought Tyron twice and he's a monster at welterweight, he also trains with middleweights and light heavyweights.
^this guy knows
True,Woodley is a big Welterweight, but he never looked too big for Thompson; while Till looks too big for Thompson, if he can maintain his weight at 170, he looks too big and strong for all of them.
Nicest guy in the organization
Sage seems inauthentic
Bar none
Steven Garcia lol))
Nice guys finish last. I want to meet Wonder-Man. And Till isn't as confident as we thought.
Respect, amazing fighter
Awesome human being!!
He's so humble and respectable and just a nice dam dude..,, I hope he gets another shot at the belt one day and wins. He deserves everything
Chad Ehling agreed man. He's a model professional who is everything that any mixed martial artist coming up should try and emulate... extremely respectful with top end skills. I bet he never has to buy his own beer when visiting bars anywhere in the world 😂
S.T is a great human being. People like him and GSP are a credit to MMA.
P4P nicest guy
Eva Braun him vs Sage Northcut for the undisputed nicest guy world championship, with Pride rules
@@ahmeddjeghri6879 No GSP and Stipe are far nicer
@@theterrar3566 stipes fist wasn't nice to cormiers face
There was too much respect in this fight, none of them went for the kill.
Lewis G haha. When has going in for the kill on wonderboy worked
because against both, it's fery likely that you'd actually get yourself killed going for the kill
Fery across the Mersey!
Colby Covington is the next champion.
That's because they're white
Tactical fight. Great to watch but frustrating. Till's gas tank is brilliant. Well done wonderboy !! 👊
hardly throwing any punches probably helped...
It wasn’t even tactical. Just boring.
ForGiggles sure did.. those 3.5 lbs of pure h2o that he stil had to lose made all the difference.. Both their gastanks were solid because it was 5 rounds of carefull striking. Just one takedown could take a lot of gas away.
Actually feel sorry for the guy on the end of a decision from judges like that, hope he comes back better than ever
The stats are out on Sherdog. Till won significant strikes landed almost 2 to 1. Add in the knockdown and the octagon control and that's why Till won.
He will. Give him the loser of RDA and Colby I say, he will melt whoever that is then be maybe one fight off a title shot.
TheNeurolicious gsp is like 36, yoel romero is 41 I'm sure, i guess age doesn't matter too much as long as they still have that fire in them
Till clearly won man..
spike spiegel I’m hoping till wins the title then woodley and Wonderboy fight again and wonder KOS him then fights for title against till and KOs him then retires
What a great human being. He must me so gutted by the missed weight of Till and then the bullshit 49-46 twice!! And still he remains the perfect gentleman. Class act inside and outside of the octagon.
this guy is pure class. what a pleasure. RESPECT ISNT HARD TO DISH OUT.
Wonderboy is the greatest fighter to never hold a title. Shame.
IKKKKRRR and Darren came over WEIGHT!!
Chael Sonnen
Not yet anyway
This man just oozes graciousness. Always a class act
Really lost his ability to pull the trigger after the first Woodley fight. Still, didn't deserve the 46 scorecards.
SRNF agreed.
Agreed. He did say he got kicked in the knee early in The first and he couldn't use that leg properly the whole fight. Makes sense, I was wondering why he wasn't even throwing his front side kicks not to mention the other stuff
SRNF agreed..but till didn't pull the trigger either. One good punch landed and WB got right back up. That's good but not THAT awesome..
Monscent true that. Thing is WB outclasses everybody on the feet. If he pulled the trigger hed be finishing people left and right. I think that's why we are talking about him in this regard.
Was just telling that to my boys, Woodly put fear in him.
I just love this man, so well mannered, so humble, a true sportsman. He should have been in Hollywood.
True proffesional.
I love him dude, I feel bad for him the guy deserves more than he’s been given
This is a true mma pro gracious humble respectful class act indeed
Would love to see Till win the belt and then have a rematch with Stephen but Woodley is a nightmare for anyone, would like to see Till fight the loser of the Rda vs colby fight and Stephen have a warm up fight against a noteable opponent, then Till for the title if he wins then line up a Stephen rematch down the line or something to that effect
KRS After that performance I have no interest in seeing them in a rematch. I think a fight with Kamaru Usman sounds about right as they're both coming off of bouts against former contenders.
Kimiora Henry sounds good, im being a bit biased in both ways because I'm from the UK so i like Till but Wonderboy is just a likeable fighter he takes it all in his stride like a true fighter had a 2fights for the for the title and he had really close contest the first go and would love to see him have another crack at it I think the belt being involved would be another mental factor for any fighter because thats what a fighter should go after they need to make that money to secure there families and there future but everyone takes selling the fight to a new level now they try well to hard
MusicBlastingPsycho he has the wrestling over Till and is tough fight for anyone and is a very tactical fighter no doubt thats why he is the champion but every dog has its day and Till can defo beat him and likewise. Till is right in the mix with the top guys at the minute and will be always have a chance with anyone because he is a puncher but also a very tactical puncher and Woodley has power as well so it's an interesting fight
Woodley should come in heavy cheaters win in the ufc
RPG 808 being afraid or being tactical when fighting an opponent who is a lot bigger than Wonderboy is
Such a good mannered and polite fighter he kind of reminds me of Klichko ,I wish more guys had such class in this sport like Thompson...
What a man. So much respect for him.
And that my friends is how a champion responds. Humble in all he does...
Gotta love this guy, literally the best example of a fighter in the ufc (minus ground game)
1 of my favorite fighters
Class act. A real example on how to deal with loss for everyone out there
I really feel for Wonderboy, he was brought there to his home town, then Till missed the weight and then he got at the bad end of a decision. He doesn't have that much time left so any loss now is even more devastating.
Wonder boy must be the best dude out there . To be honest I never saw someone so skilled and so nice .
Thompson has all the skill... No killer instinct.
He has a load of knockouts, just not against the very top of the division.
yes unlike robbie lawler. That's why i love robbie more
Lawler is a roider that, now deprived, despite being much younger than Wonderboy, is a broken husk of his old self.
Chris Dynamo he never popped for steroids and he's older than Wonderboy
Nick Cost yeah that's why he TKOed the middleweight champ.
This guy is a real fighter. Credit to both men. No Kim Kardashian publicity stunts, respect throughout the build up and in the octagon. Both fought their hearts out. No bitching, moaning and making excuses after. If more people recognised that this true combat sport, the right fighters would be making so much more money and the actual sport itself would be way more entertaining
Respect to both him and till. Till was a very respectful winner. Close fight, even though not much was thrown I was on the edge of my seat because I didn't want either to lose
Respect Wonderboy
Such a good guy. Full respect
Most humble fighter of them all
Big respect for Stephen
He’s a living icon and a true warrior
Dude after been screwed all week came the whole way across the world to get done like that by poxy judges who were watching a different fight than the rest of us #Stillthebestwounderboy
Wounderboy? Lol. I'm just being pedantic pal tbh... this guy is a model professional that all others should emulate within the sport. I hope he gets the belt at some point in the near future as he truly deserves it.
Wounder haha
great person
Stephen Thompson is just pure class
Big fan of Wonderboy. Probably one of the nicest and respectful guys in the UFC, and one badass striker!
Stephen is great; what a super attitude. I wish more UFC fighters conducted themselves in a similar way.
This guy is a legend in my eyes. He deserves the belt and i hope he gets it.
I love this man... no homo! He's everything every martial artist should be both inside and outside of the octagon. A true gentleman of the sport that we all love so much.
He's Too sweet for UFC !!!
He's so wonderful
What a guy
Man of pure class, got so much respect for Wonderboy, such a model pro and a world class fighter, he came out of this fight losing nothing imo, it was a close close fight, could have gone either way. Wonderboy gained a hell of a lot of UK fans on Sunday for sure.
What a role model amazing guy !!!
What a nice guy.
Classy guy, great fighter.
I could see 48-47 for either of them but 49-46 Till is crazy
What a top man! Such a cool fella I like Wonderboy he's a class act! Saying that it wasn't a robbery as some are saying it was, a robbery has a clear winner and I thought personally a draw or JUST gave it Till, Wonderboy seems to be struggling to pull the trigger I think, I genuinely wish him some form and hope to see him taking heads clean off in future!👌🏻
He is a winner even though, he loses. Great two artists went toe to toe until the end non of them deserve to lose but that’s name of the game. Wonderful, wonder boy will be back stronger and better I hope 🤞.
True gentleman
Plus Till fought a guy lighter than him, 10 years older, with a lot more miles on the clock...and still couldn’t beat him
love this guy win lose or draw.
Till Thompson 2 is going to be a legendary night
Southern charm showing these Brits what class is !!!! South Carolina !!!!!!
Thompson's a good lad. wish him all the best
Class act and true Martial Artist.
coolest dude ever live on this planet!
I see the frustration through his smile.
The man is all class !
Stephen "and we'll go from there" Thompson
absolute role model
Is it actually possible to not like wonderboy. Absolute diamond of a person and fighter. Hes got the whole support of Liverpool in his future fights ✊🏻
Utmost respect for this man.
this guy is class !!
Love Stephen Thompson - professional. Gentleman, fighter. Thought he edged the Till fight but close one to call.
How can he be so humble but it was a close fight if weren’t for till knocking him down he would have took the win 💯
Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,pure class
A real role model
The U.K. has So Much respect for wonderboy after this.
BT Sport's UFC interviews are excellent.
Class act
This guy may not be a Champion inside the ring but he sure is true champ outside the ring in how he conducts himself in defeat .
Really feel bad for wb, ufc should give him an easier matchup next so he gets back a streak and hope him the best
became a big fan of wonderboy
Remarkable person!
This guy is a profesinal look how he takes a loss credit to this guy
Wonderboy is a TRUE Professional.
He probably has the best attitude of any professional fighter in mma. Even when he fights other fighters I like I can't root against him because I want to see him succeed.
one of my faves; class guy, much like Till
Wonderboy is so nice
He gives the sport a good name.
Still the man
Never hear excuses from Wonderboy, class act. Close fight, majority of fans would say Wonderboy won.
Love wonderboy
Class act.
Classy gentleman
Didn’t deserve the 46, but he lost that fight, slightly. This guy is a gentleman by how he handle the lost.
Man's a beast
Cool guy
Great fighter he’ll clear out the division again
Well, if your philosophy as a judge is to award aggressiveness and octagon control, the 49-46 score makes sense. Personally, I thought Thompson won with very effective counter strikes and evasiveness, landing more clean strikes. But, it was evident that he was nervous about Till's power, and failed to pull the trigger often. The book is out on beating Wonderboy, a la Tyron: don't aggressively pursue.
7-0 for fighters this year who've won with out making weight this must be a new stradegy for coaches now that usda has been cracking down on steriods. in previous years it never worked out like this.
The real champ 👍
