One such woman is Asiya Bint Muzahim who attained perfect faith as described by the Prophet Muhammad (may the blessings and peace of God be upon him). She lived in ancient Egypt during the rule of the most oppressive pharaoh in history. Not only did she live under his rule, but she lived in his home as his wife.

The story breaks my heart even more for Asiya as I realized that on one hand was her husband on the other is her son. To choose one is to choose shirk to choose the other to to choose Allah. But she had to watch her husband fight and go after their son. Subhanna Allah. Realizing this makes me respect her so much more.

Can someone explain to me how a wife of a pharoa in Ancient Egypt was named Asiya bint muzahim? Where did that name originate from?
@Catboard Kitten I understand that.. I know that the name muzahim is the father's name..... But the issue is in the following : 1. Both Asiya and muzahim aren't pharoanic egyptian names 2; the word muzahim is an arabic word مزاحم which means the one who crowds، you can return it to it's origin verb which is زحم which means to crowd.... So it's a completely arabic name so how can that be in the time of moses?
