Thank you for always publishing these entertaining videos. The mug shot used in the video is Lieutenant Nobuo Fujita, a seaplane pilot in the Navy. In case you were wondering, he was the hero who piloted the submarine-borne seaplane that successfully bombed the west coast of the USA.
You should have atleast 50k subscribers by now. Amazing content
Thankyou!
Great video! I love this aircraft. Also your voice is great too. I really enjoyed your presentation.
Love these previously unheard of topics you describe . Keep 'em comin' !!
Will do! o7
You brave bastard, fighting a 50 tonne death machine while it's firing four analog computer aimed turrets at your Jake. Sir, you should have had that Rufe (float Zero) under you. I always wondered why they didn't use the Rufe for armed LR recon escort for the IJN in the Pacific actions. Jakes were easy kills for a good radar fix and a properly guided CAP.
This is a new one on me! I have been reading up on history for 5 decades
Seems there no end of stories to come out the war...
Wow! An interesting tale of a highly unusual dogfight match up.
A great account that I'd never known of ! And an inspirational ending.
Brave Samurai.... but his Katana was not sharp enough.... and good Luck for BUNGO. And You great American People every time HELPING THE WOUNDED ENEMY, so You did here in Germany in WW II !! And what is new for me: The DUMBO Version of the B-29! Never heard about that! And we Germans could be lucky, the BIG 8 not coming in with this supreme American Bomber over german sky's! Incredible Story..... I ❤ Your Channel.. Every time unknown stuff... and very brilliant narration...
This is the purpose a YB-40 would have been great for earlier in the war. Armed patrol and support...like a proto Spooky AC-47
what a wholesome ending...I didn't expect that. Nice video!
For sure :)
This may be the best in your series so far. And the epilogue makes me happy.
Thanks! And yes, it's nice to have a happy ending :)

During the dinner, suddenly, he yelled, "Tenno Heika, Banzai!"
Fantastic channel!
Glad you enjoy it!
Amazing video as usual 👌
Appreciate it!
Heard about this from Rex's Hangar.
Yes, I wrote the script for that video!
Brave Japanese pilots! 👍😎

Well at least he try it
You say he served in the Japanese Navy after the war. Japan doesn’t have a military. They are banned under the U.S. written constitution. They just have heavily armed police forces 😂
Japan still have Unryu class Carriers and other ships and yes US did Banned then BUT Japan still have Navy generals and other hight rank officers who work with US after 1945 and they still have Generals in 1946
comment for the algorithm and a great video
