A small , cozy underground fortress. A lot of work, but very satisfying and rewarding in the end. You are definitely one of the best my friend. Thanks for sharing the video.

Мне кажется,что над камином можно поработать : сделать его подлинней, трубу повыше придумать, выложить камнями ,где надо, чтобы бревна не обгорали,он слишком дымит,а так очень даже неплохо 🙂

George good one this evening as I appreciate it! I can only repeat if it's coming to earthen fireplaces you're the man. The chimney needed a little fine correct huh? You cracked the 5k as I said und you keep going ahead. Love the minimalist and simple style you do but it's never stupid or senseless work at all! I enjoy these types of videos. You do great work. I am curious, though. I watch a lot of these types of videos; do you build on your own private land, or do you get permission from the land owner before you build? I was just wondering how that worked. Awesome work though.

nice build, common mistake, to prevent chimney blow back and ground hugging smoke from being drawn back into shelter, get proper draw on your chimney...a Chimney needs to be at least 2 feet(60 cms) above any surface within a few feet, cpl meters..

well done. Question: You have some logs fairly close to the fireplace. How many inches of mud do you need over them to protect them from catching fire?
