German Shepherd Puppy 6 months - How to Train your German Shepherd Dog - "Hadley" Introduction
In this very first video we are introducing ourselves and a 6 month old German Shepherd puppy named Hadley. Hadley comes from a very nice family on the west coast of Florida that traveled several hours so that she could stay with us for our very popular training program.
Hadley will be with us for the next four weeks for a puppy board and train program in our home. This will be the first of many videos to come. Over the next four weeks we will watch Hadley progress in her training and bring you along for the journey so that you can watch and learn along with us as well.

I have unsubscribed from many trainers but you are spot on in training. I just need to do all of it better. I have a German Shepard pup now almost 5 months and I'm trying to get her to be trained enough that I'll be able to handle her as I get older and she gets larger and weighs more. I'm working against time to achieve our lives to work in harmony. I need her in my life. I can't chance listening to the wrong instructions, or just to many people. I SO APPRECIATE YOU ON HERE. Sunni

Great video; I'm totally sold! I've checked out herm sprenger prongs and am totally bewildered at the range available. What should I get for a 6-month german shepherd?
Me and my family recently just got a German Shepard puppy he is 8weeks old. When is a good time to start training him? He is very playful, but he is teething very badly which is a bit of a concern since we have a 1year son(which we keep a very close one on them both when they are together.) I work a lot of hours for my job same for my husband I just would like to be able to turn my head if they are together and know they are both okay. I have learned a lot and enjoy what videos I have watched thank you so much for sharing all of your knowledge on training.

What are your thoughts about Adopting a GSD or a Belgium Malinois if you find at a shelter?
Do you recommend choker chains if you can’t get a prong collar? They are illegal in our country unfortunately. I have a working line GSD.
Watching from the uk what you do is amazing with dogs honestly wish I lived in the states I would definitely bring my 6 month old German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois to you for abit of training..he’s a little pully on the lead and loves to see other dogs where he will try to charge to try see them only in a playful way but obviously most people would see it as him being aggressive and avoid us if you have any tips on this it would be much appreciated! hi i have a 6 moth olf i have been doing obence with her and she has no food drive and almost no ball drice unless im throwing it and segestions for me on freating? im in ohio and do alot of training but never had a hi drive pup not have any intrested
You have to create food drive. Stop feeding free meals. If it's not hungry for food to train then don't feed it. Try again in 8 hours. If it's still not hungry wait sad try again and continue until it's hungry. Why work for food at 9am if it gets a free meal at 10am
I have a sister who is looking to get rid of her female German Shepherd due to living conditions. She's 9 months old and is Crate trained and potty trained. But she has not worked with her in any other areas is it possible at 9 months to give her more training like the basics. I know German Shepherds Minds quickly develop between 6 months to a year and I fear that she might be set in her ways already.
Never too late to train. We're training a 2 year old Shepherd now. Might be a bit more difficult but never too late

Every dog is different. It's a female I think she looked fine for her age. She was probably about 45-50lbs at 6 months. Pretty average I would say.
