    • Thats what I thought initially. Spanish sounds similar to Portuguese, and the Mexican dialect has a lot of slang in it, words like "madre" and "perro" are often not used literally, but to the Portuguese ear, I guess it can be taken the wrong way.

    • I understand the misunderstanding, but perro is mostly used as dawg in Mexico. We even say "Ahh perro!" As a way to say that you are surprised by /proud of someone. It's an endearing thing mostly. Still, it's better that the usual "Viva Mexico cabrones" lol
