While this is true... what I never understood why they didnt at the very least give us something as simple as the black sleeveless costume in the Wolverine solo comics. It wouldnt have been the same as getting this costume, but it wouldve been something and EASY to achieve

The mask is sick! I’m suprised they made the wings smooth rather than rigged, but perhaps that’s to differentiate from a main mcu timeline variant.

The mask is definitely black, you can see comparing it to the comic wolverine picture you used that it matches. It just has a very slight blue tint, also like it is in the comics. It’s definitely not blue

The mask and suit were a gift to Logan from Yukio in The Wolverine’s alternate ending, so there’s a good chance that Logan’s being pulled from that point of life.
He had bone claws at that point though didn’t he?
@@darwinfernandez8069 Yes. He was born with regular bone claws, but after Sabertooth stepped on and broke them, he got injected with the Adamantium. Otherwise, the Silver Samurai put some nanites into Logan that canceled out his healing factor for most of the film.
