UN troops were sent in, canadian police and correctionnal officers were dispatched to help with training. Millions of dollars were poured in to try and rebuild housing and help with the economy. The dominicain Republic that shares the island with Haïti, uses the haitian population as slave labour. Haïti has been one corrupt goverment after the other. I'm not saying that it's a lost cause, but the carrot and a very big stick are going to be needed.

It was made by republicans and it was the most right-wing border bill that there ever was, and it had support from both the Democrats, AND the Republicans. And what happened? • This is really poor journalism to a certain degree. Rather than subtitling his exact response word for word, they paraphrase and summarize his responses based on their opinion of what we should hear his response was. For those who don't speak his language, how can we be sure that the interpretation we're being given his wholly accurate. Regardless of what you believe, this is presented as an opinion article rather than an actual interview where the viewer can ascertain for themselves the intention of the man's words. This isn't to say they are for sure being misleading, but how do we know that when you tell us what he said, rather than just translating. French and Haitian Creole translate pretty well to English.

And now also want to lead the corrupt New government group that is set up against the Haitian will. In haiti. And also want force the multinational police to come in so they could try to eliminate thise arms group before they say who it is that give them all these guns. That's why the politicians are refusing to sit on tables with not just them but the diaspora and the Haitian people. Because they are guilty and corrupt. • I am against the gang's tactics, I think they're criminals and should be jailed. But I also would prefer that they prevail first. A handful of oligarchs backed by the US, France, and Canada Ambassies in Haiti have ruled Haiti for too long. And to keep these oligarchs in power, they need to have a permanent foreign force in Haiti. So that when the people elect someone, they can arm the gangs to put pressure and offer protection in return they are required to maintain the status quo. For example, none of those put to power in a Presidential College are capable of winning more than 2 percent in elections. They're politicians without constituents- After every election they block the country using the gangs. But these gangs have become too powerful and rebelled against them. They've adapted after a few cycles of oligarchs orchestrating the murder of the gang leaders to replace them with new, more compliant leaders. If the gangs fail, it will just be like resting the clock- in 4 years after the next election, the same thing will happen. If the gangs prevail, they will keep the foreign interests (Ambassy Staffs/Non-profit staffs/ and most people with import monopolies) outside of Haiti. The agricultural movement which has started will spread in the countryside where it is safe and peaceful- and a new leadership will emerge in 24 to 36 month. Haiti's problem is a simple one, you have an elite comprising 5 percent of the population, with dual nationalities, and backed up by the ambassies of their second nationality. (Typically the US, France, and Canadas) and you have 95 percent black Haitians of primarily African ancestry, the 5 percent think they are entitled to rule because of their ski color- and the historically racist countries who back them think the same. The power of the foreign ambassies create a stalemate. This is complicated by the fact that, it has became impossible to have a Coup D'état in Haiti. Which is a good thing, nobody should be able to select the president of a country outside of popular votes. We had made so much progress that even after using foreigners to murder the president, they can't replace him without elections. Slowly but surely, we will prevail. And if Haiti has to be taken over by gangsters first, so be it.
