The older generation tire repair method, it is used for short-distance transportation of wood

Grandpa Amu was going to make a large part, but encountered transportation problems during the process of collecting materials. He was impatient and came up with a good way to pull it with an axle, but the broken axle needs to be repaired to better transport the wood to our work place. , what will he do with the wood next? We stay tuned.
Life is full of flavors, life needs to laugh right!

  • This takes me back. I grew up fixing my bike tires. It must be forty years since the last time I did one.

    • 40 Years ??? 60+ Years for me! The tire valve design is not like those in the US - but they work very well and the repair was quite well done. I fully expected to see a little tire patch adhesive around the tube and the replacement valve rubber piece. Not needed I see. Grandfather Amu is certainly a man of many talents. - Joe S - Idaho and Alaska

  • Grandpa Amu is my inspiration. He repairs things instead of going out and buying new (and inferior) replacements. He also creates many things from basic materials. His craftsmanship looks easy but it is not. He is only able to do the things he does because of his many years of experience. Thank you for uploading these videos. I have learned a lot!

  • This brought back memories of when I was a kid around 1959, and we would take our bikes over to the park and then do everything he did. I could almost smell the rubber when he was sanding down its surface and applying the glue. Great memories. Thanks.

  • As someone who works at the worlds number one tire and installation company in the world i am thoroughly impressed at the skill and the attention to detail including dunking the inner tube to make sure there was no leaks and then scuffing it and making sure the patch was properly sealed! I need more guys in my store that have that type of attention to detail as Grandpa Amu has!

  • I repair my tyre hoses a bit differently: 1. Find the hole by pumping it up and submerging it in water. 2. Roughen up the area around the hole a bit. 3. Cut a patch from an old hose and roughen up that as well. 4. Cover the patch and the area around the hole with some rubber solution and let it dry a bit. 5. Stick the patch on the hole and fix it with a vice. 6. After drying, check the edges and and carefully pump some air into the hole to check whether it is tight now 7. Put the hose back into the type.

  • 🤔💭-🤨💬> I was poor in the 70s drove a 28 Chevy pickup that had bad tubes and tires. I had to drive it from Deer Lodge to Anaconda - about 35 miles. I always used the dirt back roads because I would always get a few flats on the way and didn't want to be patching them next to the highway 😄👀🤠Yup❕ G~G.

Свои 5 копеек, колесо от детского квадрика пару часов держало и спускалось, разбортовывать побоялся диск весь смять, в ацетоне 2-3мл растворил пенопласт и под мипель, месяц и не спускает.
