I think we should be able to place carpets on stair and slabs, they’d only cover the top of the slab and the steps of the stairs. I think that would be a great compromise for the colour slabs and stairs.
It wouldn't. Color slabs and stairs are for the texture of the block, not just the color. Besides, that would severely limit how we could use them. You could only put them into a floor or staircase.

The large boats idea is fantastic. Ive always loved building docks, harbors, and ports. Having those little row boats to populate it has always annoyed me. Also the owl idea to deliver letters is so cute
yeah, the boats are fine but they're so small. Even something five blocks long would be an improvement. And I also agree the owl thing could be a great idea, no need to threaten an enemy in person when you can send an owl with a note saying 'I'm coming for you'
Damn, I wonder why there isn't vertical redstone by now. I mean, props to all the creative ways around it but it'd still be a bit cool to have. I'd imagine you could craft 8 sticky redstone with a slimeball/wax and 8 redstone
Personally would like wax, slimeballs can be a pain to get if you're not building a farm for them.

With the archeology system, should be added a kiln (brick furnace) that accelerates the cooking of clay, terracota, glass, bricks and smooth blocks. And the kiln should give the Ceramist job to the Villagers.

I hope they make more uses for copper. And since copper has a lot of decorative block options, it would be nice to see the same done for blocks like diamond, gold, and iron. P.S. iron blocks should also corrode like copper currently does.
When Iron, Copper, etc. is exposed to water, it rusts. I believe that could be added as well, so the game is a bit more realistic.

Redstone placed on walls is such a long awaited feature for me, since the idea was originally teased all the way back with the gears that preceeded Redstone

Sadly Mojang has said many times that red stone is a powder and therefore can never be placed vertically. But what they should do to me is make redstone wires but crafting redstone and copper ingots.

I really hope that 1.20 is gonna be a nature update, where they can bring the new birch forest and the fireflies back, also I think archioligy(hard to spell) and bundles can also fit with the theme.

A change I think should be added in is a sort of "village blending". You know how sometimes a spruce village generates next to a plains biome and suddenly there's just a spruce village there? That looks really strange in my opinion, and could probably be changed so that the village shifts from Spruce to Plains depending on the biome it's actually in.
That sort of happens with Villagers, one time I found a village generated right in between plains and a swamp, half the villagers were plains and the other half were swamp villagers.

Idea: a "good witch" (I thought of the name 'the Enchantress') - lives in flower forest or mooshroom island biome - makes healing potions - has a white cat to contrast with the witches black cat - drops brewing ingredients/flowers/potions when slain - becomes a witch if struck by lightning Edit: wow this half baked idea got more replies than I expected. I really didn't put much thought into it. Just an idea of something like a witch that's also a loner and does magic but is a helpful mob and not a passive or hostile mob. Maybe she can temporarily control all mobs in a certain block radius, hostile, passive etc. I know the cleric already exists, not trying to make a copy of that with a new name.

Grappling hooks should be used with the crossbow. The crossbow is underused and this can give players a new reason to use it

A grappling hook being added as an early game/alternative ender pearl makes sense, especially when you consider that the eventually-going-to-be-added bundles are similar as they will act as early game shulker boxes

There should definitely be an End, Desert and Jungle update in the conceivable future. I remember seeing a video called like Surviving in the End for 100 days with a really cool end mod with like a shulker king boss and flying stuff and villagers and everything. Really cool :0 (It could be an End Update, like how TBoI turned a mod into the final DLC)
I completely agree. The current end is a lot like the old nether. Go in elytras and shulkers never really go back. Considering how the current nether has bastions and multiple biomes, i think we’re overdue for an end revamp.

You do realize that in the biome votes it asks which biome change you want added in FIRST, meaning that they're still gonna change the other biomes with the changes that were told. And we did get a swamp update with the changes said in the biome vote, so this might not be as long of a wait as we might think.

emeralds could be divided into normal emeralds, used for trading, and Pure emeralds, only from mining ores, used for the armor and tools. pure ones could be also sold by the armorsmith or the villager with the blast furnace, able to be acquired even from trading, thus the armor could be at diamond level or have a special trait for villagers giving you discounts

I think that's a bit pointless, making the armor a tier between iron and diamond is a simple solution that would work.

One feature I wanna see in Minecraft is the return of certain wool colors, like Ultramarine, Chartreuse, Spring Green, Capri, Violet and Rose. I've already thought of some crafting recipes for each dye. Yellow + Lime = Chartreuse Lime + Light Blue = Spring Green Blue + Light Blue/Cyan = Capri Light Blue + Purple = Ultramarine Blue + Purple = Violet Magenta/Pink + Red = Rose
Perhaps emerald armor could be like netherite, an upgrade to diamond. But rather than just more durability and defense, it could give some special buff like a trading discount or something. I really want to see some more unique tools and armor in minecraft.

@@rubykanima I don't totally like the idea of just making smother awkward tier. Emerald is, in general, quite a bit rarer than other resources excluding trading, but odds are that most players will have diamond gear by the time they try to trade. It would need to have something unique for people to use it over netherite. Another idea could be that it makes pillagers friendly, and they could build off of that.
Maybe we could give emerald armour to villagers since technically the villagers can smelt it and turn it into the emerald they use for trading

I think its kinda funny how a lot of these suggestions or ideas have already been taken care of with mods and to a pretty impressive scale I think. Farmers Delight for example is one I always have in my mod packs, with tons of new foods and cooking methods.

Having dragons as a pet would be a great addition (because we can us them for combat and a flying transportation), it would also give another reason to collect the Ender Dragon's egg.

@dovah ironic considering you're a dragon yourself, I have a compromise, when the egg hatches, the baby dragon will follow you around and fly and if you're fighting mobs then it will occasionally shoot miniature ender fireballs at mobs dealing a small explosion and true damage

having full emerald armour should give you luck effect. so it makes it better for trading and makes mobs like creepers have a less chance of noticing you if u approach it
There's just a couple problems. One, why would a mob not notice you in glittering emerald Armour. Two, if villagers can tell you're rich enough to be covered in emeralds wouldn't they raise the prices because they know they can get more emeralds from you. Third putting on emeralds logically wouldn't make sense for it to suddenly give you better loot in structure there way before you.

I think something like an Emerald or Amethyst crown that give buffs would be cool; Emerald crowns give cheaper villager trades, Amethyst crowns could maybe give a buff such as night vision

So I did some research on the hardness and toughness of emeralds, and I found out that its hardness is between 7.5 and 8, while its toughness, which is its resistance to breakage, is generally poor. Therefore, I feel that emerald gear should be between gold and iron instead of iron and diamond.

On the topic of a baby Ender Dragon you could tame and raise, wouldn't it be interesting to also have a whistle, or maybe a special horn, that lets you call your dragon friend from anywhere in the world that's not underground? that way you would have an easy way to call it in case you forget it's location. I think it shouldn't work underground though, cause that would probably destroy a lot of terrain which could be game breaking / destructive to your builds

New item: Redstone Wire. Recipe: Redstone Dust + Gunpowder Redstone wire can be placed in walls and detects more power from far away components. New item: Redstone Sensor Recipe: Cobblestone + Copper + Redstone If you touch the redstone sensor, it will emit a redstone signal.
I love the season concept. Adding that kind of thing will make farming so much deeper as well as allow certain events to be rare as they would only occur at certain times. I just don't get the 500 day per year... How do the months work? 25 days per month? 5 months per season? What about the weeks?

We need redstone wires by combining copper ingots with redstone dust. So we can both place redstone vertically and also isolate redstone signals to specific blocks
I REALLY want to wolves to be like that, fr 🤧 hopefully they do do it (and the ender dragon too)
They should give a functionality to wandering traders where, after spending 10+ emeralds, you can choose to recruit them as a villager to create a village anywhere without having to go through the arduous task of transporting natural villagers. They'd gain a trading option after spending emeralds to recruit them, spending more emeralds at that trading option would cause them to follow you for 5 minutes, or until you lead them to a valid village (aka: a bunch of valid houses in close proximity) for them to move into Another neat addition would be a variety of storage items like backpacks, tool belts, quivers, etc. that use a 5th armor slot. They'd open up an additional row of storage at the bottom of your inventory. For special storage items, they'd have silhouettes of the item type that can go there. (Ex: Quiver storage slots would have an arrow silhouette and tool belt storage slots would have a pickaxe silhouette.) Each storage item would have a different number of slots to balance them out so that an all-purpose backpack isn't always the best. Being able to hotkey additional inventory slots would be neat too. Like being able to press Alt+1 or something like that to pull a specific item from your inventory. Something else I've always wanted are scarecrows. Little golems that harvest and replant crops like a farmer villager. It would only pick up seeds and have low inventory so that wheat as well as excess carrots and potatoes can be collected with a hopper minecart. Edit: Spectral arrows should give off a bright light as well. Imagine being able to fire them off into the air like flares for friends to find you with or using them to quickly illuminate the roof of a cave or to illuminate a flooded cave since torches wouldn't work.
The wandering trader thing is a terrible idea. If you really need villagers in a difficult location just cure a zombie villager. As for the spectral arrow thing, Minecraft does not support dynamic lighting unfortunately.

@@aceplante Curing a zombie requires golden apples and healing potions. Also you need blaze powder to brew potions. Definitely too hard for players who don't have access to a nether fortress.
Yes recruiting traders would give them an actual use because literally no one trades with them.
@@eziepiezie2009 You can get a witch to splash a weakness potion, or you can get a brewing stand from a village (which if I remember correctly has a blaze powder already in it?). Apples can be easily obtained from any oak tree, and gold can be mined underground or (if all else fails) pigs struck by lightning. The point is there is already a way and that idea of converting a trader is terrible.
Those soul fire wolves actually look sick though, I'd love to see that. Plus it could even offer up a wolf with more power. Harder to tame, but they can set mobs on fire by attacking.

Soul Fire Wolf, Cherry Blossom Grove, Animal Variety, and Beach Villages are ones I really like from this. Hope they're seriously considered. Though, i do like all of them. Those are the ones I like the most.

Redstone updates I want: -vertical and ceiling Redstone (wires basically) -hidden redstone (invisible or inside a block) -wireless Redstone (can be a block crafted with skulk sensors and have a limited radius and/or selectable channels) -mechanical users (dispensers are already getting pretty close to this with sheers, buckets, and flint and steel)

@@ismailabaza411 the difference between ghasts and blazes from phantoms is that they rely on ranged attacks and big enough to easily hit with a weapon. phantoms rely on melee attacks and they have swoop attacks because of their wings, vultures would probably be similiar because vultures use melee attacks and have wings just like phantoms which is why i wouldnt want them as a nether mob.

I think that the emerald armor (For balance) should decrease your standing with villagers if you craft or wear it around them (Since It would make sense that they would rather you spend the emeralds instead of making armor and tools with it)
I would prefer if the emerald armor had the same armor as the diamond, but was as durable as a gold armor and it have a terrible magic conductivity, meaning enchanting in a enchanting table always result in awful enchantments and if you use books it will need copious amounts of levels and even with it cant hold too much enchantments at the same time, maybe only 2 per piece for example, so if you want protection+unbreaking you wouldnt be able to put mending on it, or if you want it to be durable you would need to ditch the protection and have only unbreaking+mending, it would be a nice way to make it stand out of the rest but still make it meaningfull in some way if you wanted to use it (like the gold that has terrible durability, has amazing magic conductivity and is faster that netherite)
like it increases the price of items you buy from them, like they see you as someone rich since you're wearing their currency

I think maybe copper tools and armor would be a nice addition, because besides spyglasses and lightning rods, there's not really any other use for copper as of 1.18.
i mean yeah, copper ore was extremely underwhelming imo, although i would prefer if you could make bronze as a middle ground between iron and diamond.
I like it when more exploration aspects are added to the game. Namely structures and animals. I feel as though if more of these were added in then people could have much more to look forward to after beating the game. I just feel like once I defeat the ender dragon then there's typically nothing left besides getting elytra. I would like for there to be more kinds of bosses. Especially one that might come after the ender dragon.

The elemental dragons should make it into the game as part of archaeology. Find the eggs in different biomes, hatch them with soul fire, and they have elemental powers based on where the eggs were found.

I love how Java players are jealous of Bedrock features like pushing chests and leaves changing colors but Java has soooo many better features compared to Bedrock. This is coming from a Bedrock player.

For the emerald gear, I think it would be cool to have emerald from villagers be polished emeralds, while the ones in caves are just normal emeralds. Polished emeralds can be made with emeralds in a grind stone (or from trading with villagers), and polished emeralds are for villagers. Normal emeralds can be crafted into armor and tools, and are far more durable than diamonds, but have slightly less mining and attack speed.
The problem is it would be incredibly rare, and wouldn't be renewable.

@@justinbombach9873 finding emeralds is like the easiest thing if you can find a stony mountain. they're as common as sticks in a forest there.
for double jump you can use the "Wall Jump" too. it has speedboost too!
I feel like they should allow us to make armor out of Copper at some point and make Bronze Armor which could be a tier above Leather Armor and tier below Iron Armor
