Am glad they showed the hands finally as few have shared how this is one of the hardest residual factors following the race. I did the amateur version in ‘91 and my palm’s were ripped to shreds. They screamed in the first few showers and everything I held hurt like hell for a week at least…what an insane event…fricken loved it then and love it still. Hell is heaven.

@@ridley8340 double bar tape, gel mits, greasing the gloves insides; nothing worked - you just had to deal with it. Thus so many people only see the surface of the suffering this race produces and I’ve often thought it would be awesome if someone produced a thorough and complete documentary on Paris Roubaix. Good to “meet” a Ronde compatriot ☺️
