i dont like it when people were commenting about Hyunwon weight and told him to eat more because some people are just NATURALLY SKINNY and just born with a tiny frame. Not ALL skinny people dont eat. some of them eat a lot but just couldnt gain weight. that just how their body works. im pretty sure Hyunwon is 100% healthy.

So true, but Monsta X also said he doesn't eat much. Which concerns me becaus maybe it's from his habits from being a model (who usually eat in very small amounts to keep their figure) and he sleeps a lot which indicates lack of energy which makes on very sleepy. But I'm sure I'm just overreacting XD

Ok impressive dancing and legs aside are these guys alright? They look too thin to be healthy... Particularly the guy with the black hair, black baggy t-shirt and jeans; his legs, wrists and INCREDIBLY pale complexion genuinely make me think "Anorexia". He's paler and skinnier than all the other members. I'm not trying to hate or anything, I am genuinely concerned.. I know this video was 2 years ago, and your comment one year ago, but still.

Jack Frost if you look / try their dance are very tiring for the legs so they don’t have place for fat in the legs. And during that time some members were dieting for the company, but now they are mostly okay. You don’t have to be concern about hyungwon, he is naturally skinny and eats at his hunger :) he snacks more then eat proper dinner though. The one I am most concerned about right now is Wonho, as he went under extreme dieting because the company thought he had too much muscle. Overall they lack mostly of sleep, but they burn a lot of calories a day: their training room is known as having sweat everywhere on the floor, being washed everyday. They eat a lot, especially when preparing new comebacks, but they practice so often (everyday almost for at least 5/6 to 7/8 hours, plus 1 to 2h of gym for Shownu and Wonho) that they spend all the energy from the food. They must have the strongest metabolism I have seen on idols. Please Stan them they work so hard ❤️

when Joonheon and IM are doing their parts, the others are on the sides laughing and immitating them they literally can't stop themselves...until they go back on stage, and their charismatic, suave selves are back lol omg what dorks. Also i'm always so surprised at how well Jooheon can dance, not sure why maybe because he's a rapper? Obviously they can all dance well, but he always surprises me. I noticed it from Hero (that's the first vid i saw of them) but in this dance break he SLAYS omg like what...

YES! Jooheon is an awesome dancer, unfortunately it gets unnoticed most of the time (either overpowered by his awesome rapping and/or the dance line members). Not surprising to me actually; if you check out the pre-debut dance video in this channel (goes by the title "New Artist Round 1" - warning though, the song choice for the dances has a lot of explicit lyrics), he's in the group at the bottom & he starts off in the middle. Can also check out the dance practice for "No Exit" as well which has amazing choreo. I think there's also a clip of him dancing when he was a kid (I believe it was shown in one of the episodes in "No.Mercy"), and he was also a backup dancer for one of the songs of female group, C-Real, in his pre-debut days. His dancing is pretty smooth & he goes hard into the rhythm of the music. Like you can tell he goes into the music from his body movements.

as a dancer I'd like to say that this choreo is lit. It looks interesting since it has many different moves (eg. The first time I saw them (No Mercy), I knew that I picked the right bias. Damn, Jooheon just slays every single time. Can't get over how much talent this guy has, like WOW! I always knew that he was talented, but he just keeps blowing my mind every time. His looks as well, he keeps getting more handsome every day! Jooheon's dancing skills needs more appreciation! Okay but, people that are asking why they are so skinny need to understand that it's because of us. Monsta X works really hard and they always push themselves. Whenever they don't win, the fans blame themselves and Monsta X feels guilty so they go harder each time for us. It's a vicious cycle of guilt, andt hey are constantly trying to improve themselves. And as seen in this video it's obvious that they slay almost everything they do. But it's a lot of hard work, y'know? During the Rush/Hero era, the guys mentioned that they all lost at least 8 kg (~17 lbs) of weight just because the choreo was so physically demanding. All In/Stuck doesn't seem any different, which is why they seem thinner than before. The concern is well placed, but there's nothing much we can do except help them get their first win. They've put so much pressure and restraint on themselves (the phone thing, the constant practicing) just so they can focus and win for not only themselves, but for us. On a side note, Hyungwon has always been really thin and lanky. Ever since the NO.MERCY days, it was obvious that he was just naturally skinny. It doesn't help that he's constantly losing more weight, though. And there was one interview, I forgot where, but Hyungwon said that he lost 12 kg (~26 lbs) of weight aside from the 8 kg that the choreography took from them. His official profiles only say that he's only 63 kg (~141 lbs) to begin with, so assuming that's correct, then that means that he lost about a quarter of his own weight within the year. Of course this is really worrying because health wise, since Hyungwon is always the one getting sick (he said it himself and the other members said it too, that he's always coughing/catching a cold) but there's nothing we can do except to support him, and tell him to take care of himself and to eat well. In short, the sooner we can get Monsta X a win, the sooner the boys can rest and their worries/anxieties will be temporarily gone, at least until their next comeback which is scheduled for October.

okay I replayed the dance break so I could watch each member dance. they are all so good. I know Shownu is amazing at dancing so he killed it. Jooheon I thought did GREAT! I'd say a second to Shownu. I know Hyunwon is overall the second best dancer though. His dancing during the dance break didn't really draw me in. I think that's why Jooheon looked better dancing, but it could also be because it looked like Hyungwon was barely even trying and he was still getting all the moves. so props

Monsta X has the distinction of being the first kpop group where all of them are my biases. I listen to a lot of groups, but I never liked all the members until now. I started with Shownu, then Wonho and Hyungwon. Then slowly, ALL of them became my bias. Damn you MX.

Jack Frost yeah they're fine and not at the same time? i can't further explain because it's given that they are also tired and doesn't have much free time bc it's normal for idols... the guy you mentioned is hyungwon that is his natural figure and for tall guys like him it's normal to be that thin... overall i think they eat well enough but rlly get exhausted and tired during the day...
Jack Frost if you look / try their dance are very tiring for the legs so they don’t have place for fat in the legs. And during that time some members were dieting for the company, but now they are mostly okay. You don’t have to be concern about hyungwon, he is naturally skinny and eats at his hunger :) he snacks more then eat proper dinner though. The one I am most concerned about right now is Wonho, as he went under extreme dieting because the company thought he had too much muscle. Overall they lack mostly of sleep, but they burn a lot of calories a day: their training room is known as having sweat everywhere on the floor, being washed everyday. They eat a lot, especially when preparing new comebacks, but they practice so often (everyday almost for at least 5/6 to 7/8 hours, plus 1 to 2h of gym for Shownu and Wonho) that they spend all the energy from the food. They must have the strongest metabolism I have seen on idols. Please Stan them they work so hard ❤️

YES! Jooheon is an awesome dancer, unfortunately it gets unnoticed most of the time (either overpowered by his awesome rapping and/or the dance line members). Not surprising to me actually; if you check out the pre-debut dance video in this channel (goes by the title "New Artist Round 1" - warning though, the song choice for the dances has a lot of explicit lyrics), he's in the group at the bottom & he starts off in the middle. Can also check out the dance practice for "No Exit" as well which has amazing choreo. I think there's also a clip of him dancing when he was a kid (I believe it was shown in one of the episodes in "No.Mercy"), and he was also a backup dancer for one of the songs of female group, C-Real, in his pre-debut days. His dancing is pretty smooth & he goes hard into the rhythm of the music. Like you can tell he goes into the music from his body movements.
I noticed how good he was in Hero, and then found out he's a rapper and was blown away. Since then in my mind I always know that Jooheon is a great dancer, but every time I see him I always re-think it. :P

as a dancer I'd like to say that this choreo is lit. It looks interesting since it has many different moves (eg. I didn't like "Hero" that much) and one of the last part is fast and synchronized af, guys, this is sooo hard to dance. I wonder why they don't get attention they deserve. Comparing to all other groups, I can say that this choreo could easy get an award. *waiting for the time when monsta x will become huge*
I got a prject for my korean class and we have to sing and dance a song, one of my group members chose this song and HOLY, after about 3 and a half hours we have learned 45 seconds.... The first time I saw them (No Mercy), I knew that I picked the right bias. Damn, Jooheon just slays every single time. Can't get over how much talent this guy has, like WOW! I always knew that he was talented, but he just keeps blowing my mind every time. His looks as well, he keeps getting more handsome every day! Jooheon's dancing skills needs more appreciation! Not only can this guy rap, he can dance as well, his dancing skills are powerful and every move is full of charisma! Jooheon can also sing, he's no doubt the ace of the group!!

Okay but, people that are asking why they are so skinny need to understand that it's because of us. Monsta X works really hard and they always push themselves. Whenever they don't win, the fans blame themselves and Monsta X feels guilty so they go harder each time for us. It's a vicious cycle of guilt, andt hey are constantly trying to improve themselves. And as seen in this video it's obvious that they slay almost everything they do. But it's a lot of hard work, y'know? During the Rush/Hero era, the guys mentioned that they all lost at least 8 kg (~17 lbs) of weight just because the choreo was so physically demanding. All In/Stuck doesn't seem any different, which is why they seem thinner than before. The concern is well placed, but there's nothing much we can do except help them get their first win. They've put so much pressure and restraint on themselves (the phone thing, the constant practicing) just so they can focus and win for not only themselves, but for us. On a side note, Hyungwon has always been really thin and lanky. Ever since the NO.MERCY days, it was obvious that he was just naturally skinny. It doesn't help that he's constantly losing more weight, though. And there was one interview, I forgot where, but Hyungwon said that he lost 12 kg (~26 lbs) of weight aside from the 8 kg that the choreography took from them. His official profiles only say that he's only 63 kg (~141 lbs) to begin with, so assuming that's correct, then that means that he lost about a quarter of his own weight within the year. Of course this is really worrying because health wise, since Hyungwon is always the one getting sick (he said it himself and the other members said it too, that he's always coughing/catching a cold) but there's nothing we can do except to support him, and tell him to take care of himself and to eat well. In short, the sooner we can get Monsta X a win, the sooner the boys can rest and their worries/anxieties will be temporarily gone, at least until their next comeback which is scheduled for October.
Hyungwon has always been thin though. I'm not that worried about the others other than Minhyuk but I hope they are doing well
Tbh I don't think any of them look really "skinny" here except for Hyungwon and Minhyuk, and they don't seem unhealthily so. But I like the way they look here!

okay I replayed the dance break so I could watch each member dance. they are all so good. I know Shownu is amazing at dancing so he killed it. Jooheon I thought did GREAT! I'd say a second to Shownu. I know Hyunwon is overall the second best dancer though. His dancing during the dance break didn't really draw me in. I think that's why Jooheon looked better dancing, but it could also be because it looked like Hyungwon was barely even trying and he was still getting all the moves. so props
