Well, you better watch what you do and hope you don't find out. It's gonna save you seven bucks because he'll be a jealous man
New paint job and pb blaster and a lot of tlc
"well if that ain't a piss ant pulling a loaf of bread!" what came over the CB when my buddy Mike took to hauling things around.
Was wondering how this video was going to go , after seeing how much trouble you had just unloading the dozer off of the trailer. lol
Having someone that could actually operate the running dozer would of made that quite a easy job
what a trio of tossers !!
Some safe advice: Always secure your drawbar pin. I know it's a heavy pin, but under strain if that were to pop out, someone could get hurt badly. Use a pin you can lock somehow.
It may work to remove one track pad on each track and use a chain to force them to roll by pulling over the track with the John deere
I can’t believe that was such a shock to Wiley. Isn’t that how he help build the pyramids😂😂😂?
That's a lot of work Hank and Don't be Wally 🚜 you think 💭 you'll got I think 🤔 you'll do brother's good luck them things are so powerful God bless you'll brother 🙏🙏.
So being a lady that does not change her own oil or flats, I am new to ur Channel and really enjoy it. I love the patience, the tone of your voices nice and mellow and it's so exciting when they start up. So not all your viewers are mechanics or even motor enthusiasts of any sort. Keep em coming and I'm so glad I stumbled upon ur channel!!
If you could have attached a chain/line on the top of each track at a time and pulled with the running dozer you could have increase the force to break free the tracks by 4 times. As it was there was a little movement there.
Awesome job ya'll!!! That was quite the effort. Thanks for sharing, Wily and Hank! 😎
Holy crap, I can't believe that tow truck driver crawled under that blade. My God. If that chain snapped. Crazy.
Yes, my heart skipped a beat when he did that. Chain gives no warning.
Whoever crawls under the blade is the weakest link @scroungasworkshop4663
Why didn’t yall just pull the trailer back there and use the winch to drag it up on it? Y’all really do stuff the hard way
The winch is not big enough.
@@keithstaudtsr.9217that rollback had a 9k winch. The snatch block doubled it. Dozer pushing which guiding Done.
That wrecker had more power for sure.
If you watch wiley's channel they did, the winch could not pull it alone the tracks were locked up solid I'd a dozer can barely do it a winch can't do it alone.
Great decision great video thanks Hank and Wylie
When I was in army we went through a recovery school. They taught us how to use a snatch blocks most of the time. We're using a real big snatch blocks with a 4 to 1 tackle. Should have done something called a combat offload. Wherel you back up really fast and slam on the brakes?
&
Great job y'all, be safe and God Bless y'all!
So nice to see something old come back to life after that many years. Gary is the man!
You guys were fun to watch. The owner of the dozer was a pleasure to watch to. His idea to use the rollers worked beautifully, and he definately had a head for figuring things out (rigging). It's nice to see how a plan comes together when everyone is working together and understanding the next move. Well done! Additionally, the young fella with the roll-off did a very nice job, he was obviously experienced.
Thanks for the video. Unbelievable. You got it done. Nice work. The tow truck driver knew what he was doing. Good work Hank and Wiley. The Iowa farm boy.
Another job well done took a while but got her done.
When I was young till now in the middle age, this kind of activity is always one of my favorite, machines at work ,engine roaring like beast, after a million years of inactivity. come on young guys bang it on.💪💪💪
My dad used to move sheds and had 3" pipe to put under the runners and then just winched it up on the trailer. You had the right idea with the poles under the tracks just to bad they were stuck. Another awesome job just didn't know how he was going to get it off the rollback. 😮
if you raise the front blade up
I enjoy watching the Channel steering clutches most likely stuck they are nearly impossible to get unstuck, I have seen them so bad had to cut the steering clutches drum out with a torch on a hd 5 pretty much the same just different engine and tracks so on
Great video Hank. Looks to be an awesome project for you and Wiley. Stay safe my friend.
That dozer was way to heavy for a single axle rollback.
agreed, they're lucky no one got hurt or the tow truck rolled over
broke the wench@@ionracer3284
At least it’s not raining!😎
True
Hank I really needed that Bible verse at the end man. Thank you for adding it in.
You bet
You guys and the Roll Back driver all done a awesome job that was a lot of work I enjoyed the video
Yes that was something else for sure.
Nice job guys and logan that guy knows his stuff 👌
If you can use a big chain and use the blade on front of your dozer hook it up tight use the blade to lift up the back end of broken dozer so you have more ground to track separation you might have a better chance that way.
God bless you guys as well. Thanks
Good Evening Gentlemen, I am so glad to see you again and I hope you are having a fantastic day today 😊 !
Hey fellas, the doser you brought just doesn't have enough behind for the job. The wreacker you hired needed a bit more muscle. However with your and the drivers engineering got the job done!!! Put a mark on the wall for future reference!! OBTW: I really enjoy your videos!!!
Eu acompanho seus trabalhos, muito bom mesmo, ver vocês dois juntos trabalhando, é muito gratificante parabéns felicidades Rodolfo Brasil
hank and wiley that one havey dozer that thang about 45 thousand pound
Great video as usual guys.
Oh sweet he has a back puller wow you don’t see them much that’s only second time I’ve ever seen a tow truck have that
That Deere looks pretty tired, and sounds like it too! And that drawbar, quite the creation there!
I guess you need 2 big skids that can drag it out with. I thought about poles but the tracks would turn them to kindling.
Wow what a job great video guys thank you
Bom dia muito top esse serviço máquina meu amigo. Great job by two special guys. Thanks for sharing.
I had the same problem but now that I know a little more, that old dozer should have adjustment ports on the sides/top of the back casing for the break bands , loosening them up would have freed the tracks most likely , the steering clutch drums and brake bands were probably stuck together
If that dozer runs why don’t Wiley pull up the blade on the front of it then ? Y’all are trying to drag a Machine that has lots of stuff holding you back
Hydraulics didn't work.
Have one sitting in my yard hasn’t moved in a long time
@57:35 The tracks moved ever so slightly. I wish they'd have released and retightened the tow cable a few times to see if they'd have broke free.
Next time put Wali in the dozer seat omg 👍👋🇨🇦
Boy that thing just won’t move.
I know a guy that moves dozers all the time He puts a short chai across the tracks and then winches on those to move the tracks. I have skin him move a dozer that had been sitting for 35 years in an open field. 50 ton winch truck though.
I sure hope tipped that tow driver. Bravo, sir.
In south end of Arizona; the Turner Ranch in the early 1980's had 2 John Deere tractors; they all would overheat easily. The International and CAT units did not as easily. Especially puling a land-plane or multi row plow or disc unit.
Y'all earned your money today
My son and I watch you and Wiley often! We don’t live too far from you! We enjoy your videos!
👍👍
Great video God Bless 🙌
Excellent job 👍
Awesome job guys appreciate the video
Thanks 👍 I appreciate it
When Wiley is on the scene, everything looks dangerous and difficult. 😉 Great video, keep them coming!
Amen!
Great work guys
That lil dozer earnt its keep in this vid 😂
Take the final drives out of the sprockets. Sometimes helps the old cranes and dozers roll easier when they are seized up
U should back ur equipment on trailers. 😮
Y'all boys best get some action goin on, done drank me a 12 pak watchin ain't seen no action. But your doing good, be safe ya hear
Great job by two special guys. Thanks for sharing
Muy buena la programación desde Paraguay los veo saludos queridos amigos....
I had faith in you and Wiley, I'm sure that you two could've gotten that rusty dozer out of there, though getting it onto a trailer would've been a chore. I enjoy reading my Bible Hank, I see something new each time. I've read the New Testament more times because that's all I had for about a year or so after I gave my life to Jesus, but I enjoy both. Brotherly love from NY 🙂
Hank this should been a don't be wily video lol.
The first dozer I ran as an operator was a HG6 in 1975.
Glad ya got it ,a lot more editing would've been nice on this one y'all
Nice…..awesome even…..!!!!
I've been rigging equipment all my life and I would never let somebody stand that close to a chain under tension a good way to get somebody killed.
Bom dia muito top esse serviço máquina meu amigo
Hank you should have let Wiley run the dozer. I thought you was goin to flip it off the back of the trailer. lol
You obviously have never seen Wiley run a dozer....lol
@@HamiltonvilleFarm no I haven’t. lol. But I about jumped out of my chair when you backed off the trailer lol lol. It was a good video as always. I enjoy watching.
What a gem of a trailer
My dad rebuilt a Cockshutt tractor. When he tried to get it started the first time, it wouldn't start. He gave it a good few wacks with a hammer and it started right up.
Hats off to the rollback operator.
Careful . Don't roll it-- lol They have or had cable TV . The lowest wire on that pole line , with the expansion loops- is CATV plant.
Funny and entertaining watching the technicians rescuing a bulldozer.
you have a jdeer D 4 trying to pick up a allchammer D6 the D6 is more weight need more power and clear your ground for good pulling power clear ground
kick butt video, great knowledge on the poles as rollers. Free American know how
Good video this about this work
Great video!
I knew this was going to be a fun video when you backed off the Trailor. I laughed to tears. I watched more of video and one you said what about the winch. Now they got it. Put the winch in free spool and pull out enough to hook to the tow bar. And no more broke chains. When the poles come out. I just gave out hope for ya'll. They are too old, and I have to give you slack. LOL
looked pretty comical when you backed off the truck, then things got me really concerned, yes winch cable a helluva lot safer. Think you need a Cat. Dozer would have helped a lot more.
Those pieces of what look like telephone poles is the same sort of low technology that we think was used to move huge rocks to build the ancient Pyramids in Egypt. So, great minds think alike.
Bravissimi complimenti
On the Case Backhoe, older diesel valves slowly beat their way into the seats. Making the stems LONGER when the valves have never been adjusted. The rockers will lose any oreset gap. And will start to hold the valves open, not fully closed. This creates a loss of compression. Obviously the rings are worn by the amount of bypass. But the machine was creating almost no smoke. Also once it started running there was no rocker arm ticking. It sounds to me that the motpr has always been warmed up at a dead idle (very bad) and the valves need gapped to likely .015. caterpillar sats to never run the motor at a dead idle more than 39 secs. There isnt any ring loading at idle. Bump thr rpm up to 900; to 1200 rpm to warmup or the cylinder walls get washed down and cause vrry excessive wear. Another common mistaje is orefilling oil filters. The couple secs that it takes to fill the filter from the oil pan side is way less harmful than a single speck of dirt when you prefill. Just ook at the side of any cat oil filter. I also always use 100% seafoam to prefill the fuel filter. Diesels run fine on seafiam for a bit and the no dillution really dleans the injectors. Sorry to carry but im 67 and been doing this quitr a while.
A dozer with more power would have been nice for this job haha Great that it's out of the woods, hope it will be running soon again. Great job gentlement!
Its a great cat, very powerful. just what intill you change the waters pump Theirs 2 blots 1-18 8" long I good not get out with out cutting them out.
I like your truck.
I would have opened the grease fitting on the tightest idler & hooked a chain to the top of the track & pulled it back with the dozer. The idler comes back pretty easily. ( just enough to loosen the track).
Those are likely a big nut and wrench to adjust the tracks, it’s mostly likely stuck on the brake bands
Need wily up there operating that bull dozer hank lol
Like I said earlier, you guys have obviously never seen Wiley operate a dozer 😂
@HamiltonvilleFarm lol I was joking
a crew of old guys having fun
Do you all think about trying a yankum rope on the rear end on 1 dozer connected to a 4wd tracks tractor or a 4wd tractor with big wheels and weights and the other operationle dozer to push on front of dead dozer.
I like it. Thank you!
wow, first GB
Right on!
Need more logs Wiley dang don’t just stand there
Hank did you get a another trailer
Yes sir
Awesome job guys, you tickled me though when you said I get my drink and doughnuts early before you meet wily saves you seven dollars and some change lol 😂
He doesn’t seem like he has run a dozer much
Hank that dozer gonna be a bull to try and drag like that
