I just finished building the handrail on my deck kzhead.infoUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z and used this great little router to clean up the top rail before the final sanding and stain. It was light weight but packed lots of power. Either size battery didn't seem to make it top heavy and I'm a 64 yr old women so I really appreciated how easy it was to use...................... CORDLESS only way to go !!
Man I love how you simplify your videos and don’t make us sit through a 20+ minute instructional! Making this jig tomorrow! Your juice groove jig worked perfectly! Thank you!
Man, this is the absolute simplest and most effective combined sled that I could find on here. I'm definitely building this one! Thanks so much for posting it.
That's what I'm talking about. Simple and straight forward, Great job man not making the process complicated. Great camera work and clearly explained.
Thanks so much!
Simple and easy! You have taken the intimidation factor out for me! Thanks!!!

Thanks so much!!
Just found your channel and I love it! Thank you so much for making a simple leveling flattening jig. There are so many videos out making these but the creators make it way harder than it needs to be. I will be making this jig this upcoming week. Thanks again!

Outstanding video, great descriptions. I’m making an outdoor kitchen countertop out of an 18 ft oak slab I cut from a tree with a chainsaw. Was wondering how to level it, this video answered all my questions. Thanks

The best so far!
Thank you
Good Idea Love it
Thanks for this. I've been planning on making a Covid-lockdown desk out of scaffold boards, only have basic power tools, (Circular saw, router, etc) don't have room (or the budget) for things like a thickness planer and was dreading having to hand sand the boards flat. Your idea will save me a ton of time and more importantly money!
That's great! Good luck!
thanks for making sure a nice easy to follow video
Thanks for watching!
So cool. I cant wait to make one. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for watching! Good luck!
Well done.
Probably the best jig tutorial i’ve seen on youtube. Gonna be making one after i finish my workbench. Maybe ill use this jig to verify the top of my workbench is flat 🤔 keep up the good work bud!
Thanks man! That means alot! I will be coming out with a planer sled video this week so keep an eye out. :)
Just what i was Looking for. Thank you buddy.👍
Thank you!
Very well put across
Have a jointer and router but no planer. This looks like the solution to my dilema. Thank you!
Great video, simple and easy. Thanks dude!
Thank you!
Looks good. I’ve got two pieces of hickory stump bottom about 2’x3’x5”. Seasoned outdoors for a year and in my shed for another two. Going to make this sled Saturday!
Awesome! Good luck!
Awesome thanks for the video
Great video with some amazingly detail instructions. Thank you. Would have been nice to see how you came about making your runners. I think that may be one of the hardest parts with making this entire kit that I'm still a bit intimidate with. Well done!
Thanks! It just so happens I have a newer video with updated runners! kzhead.info/sun/n9effa-giHeNdK8/bejne.html
This is awesome 👍 Thank you
Thank you!
I learned something new!!! Ive been dieing for a floor planer but this looks so much cheaper to do!!!
It's definitely cheaper! I just used it again the other day.
Solid video Brandon, good work!
BlueLine WoodWorks Thanks Joe! Much appreciated!
Thank you so much I'll be using it at my workshop
Good deal! Thanks for watching!
Hafa Adai (Hello and Greetings)! from Guam US Territory Western Pacific Ocean Great video instruction on router sled build, looking forward to building one. Just starting up on small scale for a wood working shop.
Thanks for tip on cutting one way to stop tear out. I was blaming the bit.
Haha I did to at first. Until I realized what was happening.
Which way are you cutting in your video? I assume it is cross grain? Not climbing?
Thanks for the tip!!
Thank you for watching!
muy buen video saludos amigo daniel
Great tutorial! Thank you!
+Shane Conner thanks for watching!
Wow great video. love to see the up close of the cutting
Thank you!
Beautiful video and editing 👌
Thank you!
quick and simple!nice!
Thanks!
Love that jig. Going to my shop and making one now. It will save me 50$ having it planed by my wood guy.
There you go.
“Hey wife, I saved $50 by making this jig instead of paying our wood guy! It only cost me $25-ish for the plywood, $40 for the router bit, $300 for the table saw, $150 for the router, $20 for the kreg jig, and now I never need to pay the wood guy again!” - I’m pretty sure this is what my wife thinks every time I buy another tool lol
Awesome job. What type of router bit did you use.
Great video, getting ready to flatten some big madrone slabs....thanks and go Giants!
Oh that will be fun! I have a updated video with some better rails if you're interested. kzhead.info/sun/n9effa-giHeNdK8/bejne.html
Do you have any tips and tricks for the 2x4's/rails that raise the sled off the table? How do you make sure your sled is parallel to your bench?
Very effective!
Excellent idea.
Thanks! Glad you got some value out of it.
Really good video Brandon. Audio quality is excellent. Lighting is a lot better as well.
Cameron Edmonds Thanks Cam! I got a new voice over mic. I like it alot. Definitely an improvement.
Love it. I just found 3 slabs of of old growth redwood that have been buried in the forest next to our house for probably the better part of 20 years and they’re in great shape. This is going to help so much.
That's awesome!
@@WalkersWoodworks Do you have any suggestions for the height of the runner boards? Taller vs multiple short runners that could be stacked?
Nice video thanks. Instead of using a jig saw to make the hole you could just plunge a straight router bit in and run the router around the jig once.
Great tube Thanks for the idea
Absolutely. Thanks for watching!
Wow this is awesome been wanting to make one in different sizes this will help
Glad to hear it!
awesome work
Thanks!!
