Here is a quick review of my Ford Focus ST Line X. This covers some of the parking assistance pack features which I got extra to the X pack. The X pack comes with a 10 speaker B&O sound system, special finish seats, ski hatch, silver gear knob, 18'' two tone alloys plus I go over a lot of the other features. Rear view when reversing, lane keeping assist, it also has many menu options for lane keeping, speed and collision alerts. Map menu can be pinched to view the world, it can have an almost empty 'calm' screen if you prefer no disturbances. I have the optional Parking Assistance Pack here.
OK Ford allows you to speak instructions to the car which is useful when it functions. Some things it cannot do but you can plug in Alexa and other features that I do not currently have.
I show the car parking itself but please exercise all necessary precautions when using this and look around, use the mirrors. That should go without saying plus Ford issue plenty of warnings. Boot space size is from other videos.
This car is in Desert Island Blue.

I should be picking up mine this Thursday. The wait is killing me 😂
I understand lol.
Beautiful...
i just ordered my new st line x. fully specked out. should get in few months this video I'm finding very informative so thank you for making it
You're welcome. Hope you enjoy your new car. I think mines a spaceship, not a car, after coming from a 2007 C-Max.
@@Calvertfilm i havent driven for few years as living in central london. but last car was a 2.0 Citroen old and no power steering so this is going to feel unreal to me
Sure will. The steering is weighted and for me has a nice response to it. Makes you feel in control. The car is known to handle well too. @@johnsmith-iv8ul
Nice...
Just ordered the 155ps version with automatic transmission in this exact colour. Can’t wait to collect it!
That colour is super.
Wow that's a superb screen..and car 👍🏻 Those door guards are amazing never seen those on any car before..
Thanks Jim I'm really please. Those guards are on the parking pack which is additional.
I have 1 of these now with door protectors, and they are great. They were also an option on the Mk3 but mine didn't have them, I think they have improved the design as I heard they were prone to breaking on the Mk3. Sadly, it doesn't stop anyone bumping your doors.
@@petedix2554 Yes comes with the Parking Assistance Pack I understand. True other people can bump and scratch your car still, so I tend to park away from others and walk a bit, something some people cannot do as they have to park near enough to roll out of the car to their destination lol.
Hi Laurie, that car is just so space age with all that tech you've got there! Enjoy!👍
That's what I said to the salesman - I said you didn't sell me a car you sold me a starship.
I’ve got a ‘21 ST line fiesta. Great fun to drive but if I’d known we were going to have third world roads in Kent by ‘24 I might have plumped for a softer suspension.
Lol our roads are ok here thankfully. One option it doesn't have to alter suspension modes.
I like your car. 🙂 Cheers Andy 🤠🤠
Cheers Andy.
Very impresive.
Hi John, thanks, I love this car.
Hey is there any difference between the st line x and the st line vignale ?
Yes but you'd have to go on the Ford site I think for the most accurate up to date details.
@@Calvertfilm can’t find much about the vignale honestly
Just had a quick browse for you. They don't seem to have that Vignale version on the current 2024 range. I don't know enough about the differences, so you may have to ask a dealer. @@nathandouglas4726
@@Calvertfilm appreciate that brother thank you
Does it have a sunroof?
You can have a large sunroof fitted if you want one but I prefer not to have sunroofs on my cars.
I thought the st line x was 156hp the st line is the lesser you mentioned
There is a choice of two engines in this St Line X range, 125 and 155hp I think. I've got the lower one which still does 0-60 in 9.7 secs which is fast enough for me these days, and the hybrid certainly gives it an extra boost when needed. Amazing one a 1L 3 cylinder can do. The ST is of course even more powerful. I did track days and Santa Pod in my past, so these days I'm happy with the looks, hence ST Line for me.
It’s 290 Litres Boot Capacity & 358 Litres Boot Capacity if You Completely Remove The B&O Sound System, Side Cushion Pads, Silver Box & The Spare Tyre 🛞
Cheers for the info.
