I think a cool video for you guys would be to test the difference between MLB and NPB baseballs from Japan. The MLB balls of the last few years have been notoriously “juiced” and the NPB balls of the last few years have been considered “dead”, so I think it would be really interesting for you guys to see if there’s a noticeable exit velocity/ distance difference between them. I guess the hard part would be getting current season NPB balls maybe, but I think it would be a really interesting video.

Based on your reviews this year, I purchased the Warstick Bonesaber Hybrid for my older son and the Warstick Bonesaber one-piece in black for my younger son. They both absolutely love the feel of the bats. Although it is still early in the evaluation process, they currently prefer the Warsticks over their Axe bats. Thank you for all your efforts.
Everybody I personally know who have tried it didn't like the swing weight. Hot barrel for sure, but they (including my son) say it swings weird.
To be honest Will, I have swung the Goods for a year and a half, it has not shown any signs of the connector piece being broken, from being in 14U, its been a great bat. That’s just my bat 🤷♂️ Great video 🔥

I really love watching these videos. I have not played baseball, let alone swung a bat or thrown a ball in 31 years. I sometimes think about going to Dick’s Sporting Goods and looking at baseball bats for old times sake.

Haven’t watched the video yet, but before seeing how it hits, I gotta say that is one of the coolest designs for a bat I’ve ever seen lol.
You should go to borleske stadium in walla walla Washington. It’s a really cool d3 and semi pro field, it would fit perfect for you, and I know your kinda close to that area. It’s mine and a lot of others dream in my area for you to go there.
For some reason I switched to The goods 33 from a 32 meta today and I was barreling everything and catching up to pitches I’m usually late to.
I'll keep it quick...why not get a few of the top collegiate players to come on with you and compare the bats you aren't impressed with and interview them regarding why they like it. I think it would give different perspectives on swings, preferences in weightedness, etc. Thanks for the vids!
It’s tough to tell if they really like it - when they are required to swing a certain brand based on sponsorship. Would make for a really cool video though.

Im in 14u right now and I swing a 32 bonesaber, on perfect perfects its amazing but with a 32 goods I rake more consistantly and the weight I feel like helps me hit for more distance, but i game bonesaber hybrid

I think for college hitters it mainly comes down to who’s sponsoring the school. If you go to a Wilson/Demarini school they just won’t let you swing a bonesaber and definitely not an icon. They’re just picking the best end-loaded bat they can and it just happens to the goods. Same with LSU being sponsored by Marucci, CATX is the best of the bunch there so they just roll with it. Plus I feel like it would be bad if college hitters said there were better bats than the ones school sponsors were providing them (even if it is true).

Here's an idea, paint all the bats a solid color and see if you can guess the bat based on swing and sound. Then, have the color match reveal and see how you did.

I’ve owned a lot of 2 piece hybrids and the cat X connect in game is way better than any other I’ve used. Some may be better in BP but when you get into a game nothing swings for me like the catx connect
Clearly it gets the job done lol. Didn’t make its way all the way up to fifth on our list for nothing. Keep bangin 💯

It’s really interesting how different peoples preferences can be. Like personally the cat x connect is my top and I’ve tried the atlas plenty of times and still cannot see me using it in a game
Both great bats forsure, but tons of people game the Atlas and do well with it. Just very different feels between a more rigid 1-pc bat and a more forgiving 2-pc bat.

Two things. One, how many batting gloves do you go through in a year?! Two, you should a bat bros scale where you separate two piece bats and one piece bats. Have a pros and cons list for each bat. Keep the original scale but have that as an option. Also, swung the select pwr for the first time and I can understand why you like it so much!!
I actually haven’t ripped any batting gloves in the last few months. I think using a lot of pine tar honestly helps.

I figured a lot of players swing those bats just because those are the bat companies their school decided to partner with. The real question is which bats would the players swing if they got their choice out of all bats? 🤷🏾♂️

I don’t understand, I had a 15 dollar Bombat I bout at the corner store and it lasted me throughout my Babe Ruth years. Hit a couple dingers as well. I just don’t understand the whole durability thing and I shudder to imagine how some of the guys who were way better than me( that would be about 90% of the other players) would’ve done to the ball using these bats. Our big dollar bat was an Easton Black Magic and they lasted forever. These bats today may make the ball go further, faster but they are absolute junk if they can’t last a season.

9:01 im 16 and ive been swinging the goods since i was 14, i used my teamates 2022 goods when my cat x knob flew off the bat then got a 33 inch goods and it hasnt turned into an umbrella, and ive gotten used to the weight and its way better than any bbcor bat ive swung and ive gone to dbat and demoed the select power and atlas and i think the goods is better
