    • Yeah, like TECHNICALLY you can have the money to buy something, but if its a decent percentage of your bank account and it's not something like a house/car/something substantial to your life, then even though you could buy iy, you still can't afford it. Like if you have regular people expenses and have $1000 in the bank, you COULD buy a $500 bag/coat/shoes but thats 1/2 of your money, and so you still can't afford to spend that money even though you have it.

You just can't tell she's somewhat smart (not trying to be mean it's just that I don't know how smart she is) because of the people she hangs around with. If she really is planning to go to med school now she probably didn't get a high enough score so she had to do another science degree for a pathway into medicine.
