I in no way claim to be an expert in neurographic art. This is a video I made to simplify the process for my students. If you want more information, google exists.

I just came across this topic….in many similar ways, if we’re just talking “creating art” this is very close to Zen doodling and even just doodling and repetitive pattern/mark making. The “neural” shapes & connections with a focus on mindfulness is the difference. Plus I’m sure there is a certain method that Dr P intends to get the deeper benefits than just relaxation only and that is so much more than doodling. It remind me, however, of the organic shapes and doodles that I’ve done for years, primarily with black liner pens and then sometimes coloring with markers. This “doodling” can give me a sense of relaxation and often helps at times when I feel very scattered and/or anxious.
Watched this and couldn't wait show my niece. She has ADHD and I thought it would be a wonderful exercise for her. She loved it! Her's turned out fantastically. Thank you so much 💛
Thank you so much Nikki, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and awesome picture. And the different ways to create this type of art work. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up 👍 too. Please stay safe and well too
Wow, I’ve never seen Neurographic art being made before, that was so relaxing & inspiring to watch. Just subscribed to see more, thank you for the fab tutorial! x❤️x
Stumbled upon your channel and I’m amazed with how you teach this art with so much many explanations Did one myself and I’m blown away by the results it was amazingly good Thanks
I never heard of this before but It reminds of zentangle. Both art forms are omething I have done all my life in my art but someone has taken it and added a name and rules to it. I cannot wait to try it. First I need to tidy up my studio.
Thank you so much for introducing me to neurographic art, a completely new concept for me! 💖
I used to do this kind of drawing in class as a high school and college student, especially while listening to history, philosophy, or theology lectures.
I used to do this as a child. It definitely DID calm my mind. How cool that it has a name and validity, now.
EXCELLENT... I love this video. I sent this to 7 people!! Thank you for sharing this video.
Fascinating I love it 🥰
wow- i never saw this before and I've been into acrylic pour painting .. ty for this- I love this !!!!! ☺☺☺☺
this is really cool. we've been drawing and doodling this way in my family since the early 1980's.
Beautiful neurographic art!
Nice and beautiful ! 😍
I would like to pursue this for the psychological aspects of helping myself care and my brain. :) your video explains better what i'm looking for. I'm artistic, type A. it's going to be hard for me to break the artistic side that wants pretty and well matched colors, and then the side of my troubles/solutions brain view to help myself. does that make sense? do you suggest another "technical" teacher? I don't really have a counselor at the moment.
J'aime beaucoup ce que Vous faites + votre générosité de Nous apprendre c'est très apprécié ;-) Merci pour la beauté des choses ;-) Parfum de plaisir ;-)
W0w! Good afternoon! You have great work. You are a talented person. You are doing well. Shoot more new videos. You are well done! Good luck and have a nice day.
Does it matter that it’s not true Neurographic when really the idea is to to be random and mediative, not forgetting fun. If there are rules to art therapy then it’s not therapy. How can it be. It becomes restrictive.
My thoughts exactly Tracey!
agree
art is restorative, and should be free and without rules.
*ditto!
Love it !!!
I have to say thank you for sharing this..I never knew about neurographic art much less what is was..I think 🤔 I have found something not only interesting but therapeutic that I can teach my boys to help them calm their minds and problem solve while having fun. Again I think this is really awesome.
Interesting...in the course I am taking on Neurographic Art the first line we drew was what you just said not to draw. It is the 'release' line. I've been teaching people how to heal themselves for over 35 yrs and I've never met 1 person who replicated my processes exactly as they were show. I think it the nature of the beast. We are all different, learn differently and express that knowledge according to our own design.
I had a traumatic childhood experience. I used to do this and it did help comfort me. I didn’t know at the time, it was an art form. Ironically I’m a watercolour artist as an adult,
Thank you for your guidance
Check, double check and triple check. Still some lines that aren't connected! This art takes me back to grade school, as we did art like this back then!
amazing... subscribed!
TFS this was interesting. Have you come up with any solutions to any challenges using this technique?
It is a beautiful way to help depression as well!
Very creative, thank you!. I will the "nodes" wirh something brilliant!.
I used to do this all the time. Didn’t know it was a “thing”
me too! well, except the rounding of the corners. i would do my name too. :)
When I was doing it, it was called doodling. 🙄
This is so cool! What type of paper did you use?
I remember we did something like this in artclass at elementary school in 1994.
What marker r u using? Cool art!
Can use acrilc color?
Art by me says high great video.
Wow...we did this as kids when we needed something to do..LOL
Can this type of art be done in digital form?
The second line drawing is actually what Pavlo teaching and that is the correct way it works according to his teachings. The heart or images just appear when the roundings are being developed.
do you have a resource to read/watch? i started looking but, it's overwhelming trying to find someone here.
@@KittyLovesGlover there's neurographic art channels on YT if you're interested in the other way of doing it. It's not necessary to just have fun and relax though! Let your pen go and have fun, and colour it anyway you like. It's your art!
@@lindatannock 😊
Оказывается можно разукрашивать рисунок и красками - отличная идея. А вот рисовать сердце 💓 нельзя . Оно должно появиться в результате округления - тогда только можно ждать чуда !
It's neurographic art. There are no rules lol. If folk want to add shapes then that's OK!
I love this n sent to 3 ppl tysm for showing xxx sp
Thank you SP! I really like the water colors.
@@michellejanossy8186 u r welcome
Looks nice, but that's not how neurographic works. It's done with bionic lines.
probably a dumb question but what are bionic lines?
Before you round the lines where they cross each other, you have to change the lines. They should look like a natural river or serpentines. But I like your graphic! 🙂
Nice
My mom taught us to do this for fun when we were little. It is fun
Out of curiosity, why can't a line end on the page? Especially if you like where it will end on the page.
It's just the style of the art. You can do anything you want with your own art
I was doing a version of this as a child. Did a few ; paintings as an adult.Im 56/.Granted this is a bit different and more complicated,.
Hey, where did you learn Neurographica? Your rounding is very good :)
Just watching other people do it.
Lines are not correct, they are not neurographic. Author is Pavel Piscarev, so you not showing it correctly
@@alla251 it's just art lol 🙄. Doesn't matter. Art is for fun! You don't need to pay for lessons to do this (or study it for that matter). Yes, I know there's "lessons" that go with the "self help" type of art you mean, but all art is therapeutic in its own way.
@@lindatannock so why you call it neurographic art then, if you don't know yourself what is neurographic art and how to draw it. It same if you would say: you know I do not have to learn math, but I will teach you math.
I just subbed to you it's Jan 2022
what kind of paper is used here?????
Just white construction paper
In my day we called it scribbling 🙈
😁
Schade, dass es nicht die Möglichkeit auf deutsch zu übersetzen. Lg aus Deutschland 🙂
Use Google translate to translate the transcript in the description box. All the best.
@@bisioparinde3899 ich kann deinen Text nicht kopieren und übersetzen lassen. Lg
I've been doing doddle art for the last 70 odd years..all of a sudden it's got a fancy new name and is supposed to be good for your brain...whatever. 🙄🙄
Someone is now selling "courses" on how to do this properly lol. You can see the teachers all over YT admonishing people who don't do it the "right" way lol. Well if people want to pay for doodling classes, that's up to them I guess 🤣. It's all manifestation etc. I'd rather relax and do art the way I want to. Far more relaxing! The so-called teachers get so aggressive and defensive about it all. Maybe they should do more neurographic art to chill out lol 😆 😂 Btw, I'm not criticising the lady on this channel. I'm talking about others.
what
Beter in Nederlandse vertaling
This is not neurograpic
Could you show me what neurographic is please?
@@win3728 checkout Allison Hazel Art channel, she explained it well... good luck!
the narrator's voice is horrible...whiny
I mean, thats just my voice so thanks i guess.
@@nickileatherwood9987really sorry, please forgive.
