What people google about Finland | Let's talk Europe [Episode 3]

2024 ж. 22 Мам.
37 001 Рет қаралды

Let's see what people google about Finland... A great but misterious country.
Today we’ll go over the Google Autocomplete searches about Finland with my dear friend Petteri ( / petterilassila ) who’s also an actor. I’m really excited to explore Finland and learn something new.
In this series I’d like to answer the Google Autocomplete searches from people about specific europeans countries. For each country I have invited a friend who was born or lived a few years in that specific country we will be talking about. My goal is to teach people more about these amazing countries in Europe and hopefully answers some of your questions as well.

    • @@theonewhoruinedyourday64 indeed, but the grammatically correct Finnish is not actually spoken by anyone, since everyone uses some sort of dialect or slang in Finland. So although grammatically correct Finnish may always write "kuusi palaa" the same way, people can still tell them apart because of dialects and all. But you are not wrong. It is still a funny thing how the different things are written the same way in grammatically correct Finnish.

Places with the happiest people have had more times when the people are unhappy due to them being more emotional. Finnish people are mostly OK. Not really happy but almost never at a point where they consider themselves sad. Dunno if anyone can understand what i tried to say and sorry if this info is wrong.

Also recently when talking with a Dutch friend I ggot curious and dugg up some numbers from Wikipedia and according to those numbers population density of Netherlands is over 3 times that of what population density is in the city I live in. Also I checked the difference and seem to remember that Finland has lower population density than USA.

  • This is an awesome site to compare sizes of different countries. thetruesize.com/ The mercator projection (the most commong map projection) distorts the north and south edges so much that countries closer to poles appear larger in that map than they should. (See greenland for example) In that site you can search for country, and then move it across the projection, so its size changes depending how it would be projected if it were actually situated there. So there you can see that 2:10 is actually true.
