The Lord's Prayer is a model given by Jesus showing who to pray to: Our FATHER who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name etc...The whole prayer is centered on one person, the Father, and does not mention Jesus or the holy spirit at all.. So use a mirror to see your hump. Both those who pray to Jesus and to Mary are pagan worshippers

Whichever, we can trust God to provide and protect His own, just as the Israelites did before Moses led them from Egypt. We just don’t want to hear Jesus say “I never knew you”, but instead hear “well done, my good and faithful servant”. Just as a servant doesn’t give only lip service, but follows the directions of his master, we should also gladly follow the directions God gives in scripture - knowing that He gave us the right path to follow.

This started when I decided again to get close to God and this time is different from before, I have lost touch with the joy of money, clothes, cars, alcohol etc anything the world does that keeps them happy.. Im not from a rich family but when I do get some things I get happy for very short while then I'd just have a thought of " these things won't be with me forever, now what"..

Whichever, we can trust God to provide and protect His own, just as the Israelites did before Moses led them from Egypt. We just don’t want to hear Jesus say “I never knew you”, but instead hear “well done, my good and faithful servant”. Just as a servant doesn’t give only lip service, but follows the directions of his master, we should also gladly follow the directions God gives in scripture - knowing that He gave us the right path to follow.

Amen, I'm from South Africa and I recently have no touch with life of this world, clinically I'd be diagnosed as depressed but I'm not. This started when I decided again to get close to God and this time is different from before, I have lost touch with the joy of money, clothes, cars, alcohol etc anything the world does that keeps them happy.. Im not from a rich family but when I do get some things I get happy for very short while then I'd just have a thought of " these things won't be with me forever, now what"..
