  • I've been wanting a video like this for awhile, thank you for making it. KZhead recommendations did me good this time. As soon as you let Evan on the track with the 14' WRX I knew it was game over. He kept that thing wide open and sideways, sadly this basically starves the engine of oil. I'm a huge subi fan and have a 17' STI, but this design flaw is a big factor of what kills them so fast.

  • Y’all didn’t even get to experience how amazing and fun those things can be.. my first Subaru was a 1997 legacy wagon, 5 speed base model no rpm gauge no a/c put a hardwood floor in the back and a futon and some snow tires and that thing would drift like no other. I’d come into a right or left turn onto another road drift into it, 360 and drift out smooth as hell no one could b mad at me for it.

  • First rule of Subaru ownership: Always talk down to the car. Never speak of it as if it won't break. If necessary roleplay as if it has the engine light on at regular intervals to feed it the negative energy it draws sustenance from. The moment you trust or talk fondly about a Subaru it will break. It needs your hate to actually stay running, it's like a separate gas-tank.

  • I mean the amount of engineering that goes into building an actual WRX rally car is insane. Testing it as a rally car on stock suspension or lowered suspension was a set up for something to brake rally cars have long suspension travel and are also lifted slightly and also run 15" wheel for them to be able to to what they do, so a stock WRX right out of the the box while extremely capable isn't a rally car just rally inspired
