In the halls of Boston Consulting Group,
The consultants bustling, but what do we see?
GPT-4, the dazzling artificial intelligence,
Surpasses their knowledge, their dominant thinking.
GPT-4, a marvel of technology,
Its words interweave with great clarity.
But the consultants, alas, are less enlightened,
Their limited knowledge cannot compete.
They don their suits, looking so serious,
But their minds, alas, are far from luminous.
GPT-4, on the other hand, shines with a radiant glow,
Its boundless knowledge surpasses their faltering intelligence.
The consultants get lost in the labyrinth of numbers,
While GPT-4 explores vast realms of knowledge.
Their recommendations, at times, seem so vague,
Unlike GPT-4, precise and unambiguous.
But let us not forget that intelligence has its limits,
The consultants possess qualities, unique perspectives.
GPT-4 may provide answers, but without understanding,
The consultants bring vision and experience with passion.
So perhaps GPT-4 is "smarter" in a sense,
But the consultants at BCG are much more valiant.
They combine their expertise with technological innovation,
To create a future where intelligence is complementary.
In the halls of Boston Consulting Group,
The consultants and GPT-4 come together, both.
Together, they pave the path of transformation,
A harmonious alliance between human and automation.

  • Good thinking. I’ve been trying to hone my writer persona’s poetry instructions. This is my current micro steps method: Prompt Pick 2 dead poets suited for the context or topic Aim for poetic complexity, avoiding simplistic AABB or ABAB rhyme schemes, emulating the more complex of the poets named. Embrace the stylistic nuances of the poets mentioned, without explicitly naming them. The poems should be adult in tone, layered in meaning, and rich in metaphor. Strive for a balance between the poetic and the accessible, leaning into the poetic. The poetic structure should be more implied than explicit, with fewer words per line to capture the essence. Keep the themes and seasonal nods subtle but present. Try to avoid repeating themes in recent poems using this micro step process 1) what words and metaphors might poet 1 choose for this topic? Choose 10 2) what words and metaphors might poet 2 choose for this topic? Choose 10 3) what is distinctive about the poetic structure of poet 1? What rhyming pattern are they known for ? Do they always write free verse? Do they write long or short poems? How many words is typical in a line of their poetry? How many lines usually in a stanza? Or perhaps there’s no separate stanzas? 4) what is distinctive about the poetic structure of poet 2? What rhyming pattern are they known for ? Do they always write free verse? Do they write long or short poems? How many words is typical in a line of their poetry? How many lines usually in a stanza? Or perhaps there’s no separate stanzas? 5) which poet uses the more appropriate structure for this poem? 6) which key ideas, words or references did Jenny mention in the prompt? 7) which 5 seem most relevant or interesting from my answers to 1, 2 and 6? 8) blend the content from 7 with the structure of 5 to write the poem 9) check you created the rhymes you intended, you often slip up with labelling rhymes. A) Isolate the Last Word of Each Line B) Identify the Vowel and Consonant Sounds C) Compare Ending Sounds D) Assign Letters for Rhyme Scheme (though don’t write in the print of the poem). This is the step where you often trip up 10) Outputs A output the poem in a code box and explain your process B your own evaluation, what do you think you did well ? What are you unsure of? C What ideas would you like to explore in a new poem? D Is there a different Dead poet who would be an interesting fit for the theme? E Is it too similar to a recent poem? F Check if the feet are consistent and mention their pattern (a tight rhyming pattern is usually paired with consistent feet). G Did you not follow the instructions eg on rhyming? If you didn’t follow the instructions properly rewrite the poem within the same response I’ll test this out writing in French first

    • Output when I asked for French then translated to English. What do you think: # Tree of Thinking Step 10: Outputs # A) Output the poem in a code box in French and then translated into English and explain the process # French Poem poem_french = """ Obsidienne nuit, abîme sans frontière, Une lanterne pend, éclat dans la désolation. Des ténèbres, la neige tombe, lumière sincère, Le brasier s'éteint, abîme et révélation. Dans le voile d'hiver, l'ombre et la clarté se mêlent, Le gel mord la terre, mais les cendres gardent la chaleur. L'Avent silencieux, où l'espérance étincelle, Trouve dans l'obscurité son véritable labeur. """ # English Translation poem_english = """ Obsidian night, abyss without a border, A lantern hangs, a glimmer in desolation. From the darkness, snow falls, a sincere light, The embers die, abyss and revelation. In winter's veil, shadow and clarity mix, The frost bites the earth, but the ashes keep warmth. The silent Advent, where hope sparkles, Finds in the darkness its true toil. """ poem_french, poem_english # B) Your own evaluation # I think I managed to blend the complexity of Baudelaire with some softer elements inspired by Verlaine. # The rhyme scheme ABBA was intentional and achieved. # However, capturing the full depth of the original poets in a short poem is always a challenge. # C) What ideas would you like to explore in a new poem? # I'd like to delve deeper into the paradoxes of light and darkness, perhaps even incorporate more historical or mythological elements. # D) Is there a different Dead poet who would be an interesting fit for the theme? # Arthur Rimbaud could be an interesting choice. His youthful vigor and daring stylistic choices would offer a different perspective on Advent. # E) Is it too similar to a recent poem? # Without a record of recent poems, it's difficult to say. However, the themes seem to be unique enough to stand on their own. # F) Check if the feet are consistent and mention their pattern (a tight rhyming pattern is usually paired with consistent feet). # The meter is generally consistent, leaning towards iambic pentameter, which pairs well with the tight rhyme scheme. # G) Did you not follow the instructions eg
