After I fought Darkeater Midir, transposed his soul for this weapon & beat Gael on my first try with it, the Frayed Blade became one of my favourite katanas ever; I mostly did a generic “Asian character wields katana & says ‘sayonara’ to almost all the bosses of the game” build, but it was worth it just for this weapon alone. FromSoft sure knows their way around weaponry.

@@Carlos-Garcia47 well, before I started hating the game after a while, my favorite katanas were: Nagakiba, Rivers of Blood & Moonveil. But my personal favorite has to go to Nagakiba just for how strong it is. Not just in dealing bleed damage (that much isn’t really new), but also the physical damage it deals. The Nagakiba, combined with Stormhawk Deenh +10, definitely helped in my fight against Malenia; it was a battle of blades, essentially.

@@Carlos-Garcia47 nice! I thought of the Moonveil as a pretty neat katana myself; if you want Dexterity & Intelligence, this is the weapon for you. My problem with Elden came in the form of late-game balance problems which wasn’t a problem I witnessed in other Souls entries. Like, you basically chipping away at an enemy’s health while said enemies can take you down in one or two hits. In the late-game of other Souls titles, like DS3, I never had this problem. It feels really inconsistent in Elden, however.

The only downside of this weapon is its extremely low durability, but even that can easily be fixed by just buying a few Repair Powders. Overall my 2nd favorite weapon in the whole series.

These bosses bleed with around 2 use of the weapon art: Aldrich Lothric Bros. Soul of Cinder Nameless King Sister Friede & Father Ariendel Gravetender Duo Demon Bros SLAVE KNIGHT GAEL ( I'm not sure about this one the bleed damage seems insignificant despite his huge hp he takes so little bleed dmg)

I will, I heard that twin blades with dark moon buff completely break the game so I didnt use them.
Dam this looks like it would work so well on my bleed build, it's a pity I only bought the base game. At the moment I'm using the gravewarden twinblades and im actually loving them. Guess I'll have to get the dlc now some how

No disrespect to what this fella does, I love all their videos, but it is important to remember they are playing the game at level 802 and maxed out every stat. Most people watching this video will likely never see results like this without cheat engine.

why cant this be in elden ring? instead of serpetine blade ash of war, double slash, it uses frayed blades skill that would deal massive poison damage and build up with that combo

Can i see stats? Im on ng+7 and i dont have nearly that much health or mana, nor damage with that weopon, but also i put 40 levels in luck because bleed, so that could be why
