Agree with the caller arguing about the 5 centres being injured. Arsenal fell apart last season when saliba got injured and he's just one player.
So what if that's what arsenal did? Do you really think that teams that actually win trophies so not have to deal with injuries to important players as well?
Arsenal (and every other club in the league) can have as many injuries as United and they still play the same system. Their entire squad is coached. They might not have the same moments of excellence, but the basic fundamentals, their tactical identity is clearly evident no matter which players are on the pitch. United simply don't have this. So when a first team player is missing, suddenly there's huge gaps on the pitch because nobody knows what they're doing. This comes down to coaching. 7hag simply has no idea how to set up a team. He can't defend and can't attack, and has huge holes in the midfield. Even the shittest of managers usually at least can do one of these things right. Postecoglou might be an awful defensive coach but he can coach his players to attack and pass the ball. 7hag cant even do that.

What gets me, and what I am enjoying, is that it is so easy to destabilise Man Utd, just by whipping up the united fans, season after season other fans just wind them up until they're calling for their manager's head. If utd fans (not all of them, just the vocal minority) just calmed down and let the process play out they'd probably be back by now, but year in year out it's just a civil war amongst their fans. And I love it.

Far north of the polar circle in north of Norway is a team called Bodoe Glimt. They have a coach called Ketil Knutsen. He has two victories, one draw and one loss against Mourinhos Roma, He did loose 3-2 against Milan at San Siro, he did beat Celtic both home and away, the same with Besiktas and a lot of European teams way bigger than Bodoe Glimt. Knutsen has built new team every year because he has created stars out of second and third division players in Norway and Denmark every year. Ajax and other larger European team have tried to sign him, but he seems to be waiting for PL. It is fun to look up Mou´s face after his Roma lost 6-1 in Bodoe.

United and ETH have ZERO excuses. Injuries are not an excuse or justification for lack of tactics, structure, discipline, commitment, and overall will and fight, as 70%-80% of clubs in the EPL have ALL had injuries. Additionally, Oliver Glasner (Palace’s Manager) has only been at Crystal Palace since February 19th 2024, yet you can see a CLEAR distinction and style/passage of play which has been successful in spanking us (could have easily been 6 or 7 by the way) beating Newcastle, crushing West Ham, and beating Liverpool (away). He's done this ALL in under 90 days. Let that simmer for United fans who pepertually keep on defending ETH!

The injuries are a fair point, but this goes back to the first game of the season against Wolves, before the injuries, where they were dominated at OT and got a very lucky win. It’s been seriously bad from start to finish.

If we are so depleted in players ... against a very skillful side... if defence is vulnerable... then protect them by suring up the midfield and make ourselves difficult to get through... In that instance you cannot play... slow lethargic ball players... use some more youngsters with energy and spirit.. Not Evans... Casamiro... and Christian Erikson all old.. all slow... Ten Hag managed to play almost an exact replica of his first ever match in charge, a 4-0 defeat to Brentford. Yet he still loves to play Eriksen in central midfield in holding role with a number 10 in front of him. Yet he just vacates that area and goes wherever he pleases.
Agreed Utd lost most of their backline, but the defence played with no conviction no system, the midfield not protecting the back 4 letting palace front 2 running amok between the lines. Had the manager instilled a system and made sure the team understand how to play and organise off the ball. In the end, Utd might still have lost but at the very least, the score would have been much closer and respectable and that injuries argument might have been able to float. As for the players and fans , they would have confidence to expect a much improved performance once the injured are back

We need to give Ten Hag another season with all the new Staff in place, such as Football Director etc. He had a good season last season, but look at our injuries last night: Tyrell Malacia Harry Maguire Lisandro Martinez Raphael Varane Luke Shaw Marcus Rashford Scott McTominay Bruno Fernandes Anthony Martial Victor Lindelof Willy Kambwala With the new staff in and football directors, lets see if we can get the right players in, as most of the players brought in were not first choice, eg Harry Kane, Bellingham, we couldnt land loads of players.
