Is it possible to beat Super Mario 64 if the A Button is pressed and held every single frame the game is running? This is by far the most odd challenge I've taken on yet, but also the most mind-numbing as well. Pannenkoek2012 sent me on an A Press challenge I'll never forget!

It's interesting how lopsided this challenge became: Bob-omb Battlefield was almost a complete, um... bomb, while Tick Tock Clock was smooth sailing. I was wincing at your struggles with the wind before the final pipe too because it really looked like the run was over at literally the last hurdle.
It was tear jerking for me in all honesty. Reading this comment hit the nail on the head there.
Kinda makes sense, though. When you get to Bob-omb Battlefield, you're still getting used to the controls. By the time you get to Tick Tock Clock, you have almost mastered Mario's moveset.

Ok so. Mario 64 takes on average 13 hours to beat 120 stars. 70 stars would most likely take 8 hours. Do to the challenge it would take longer. With all this extra challenge we could assume it takes him about 12 hours. There are 3600 seconds in an hour, there are 12 hours, so 12 x 3600 = 43200. Multiply this 60 because it runs at 60 frames per second. 43200 x 60 = 2,592,000. So about 100,000 - 250,000 times do to the frames he is in the air and collecting stars ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: thank you Geronimo Silva for reminding me about the frames he’s in the air.

How does that work? Asking for my own masochistic curiosity
I would like to explain something that I found out speedrunning 16 star. When racing kuppa and I get to the end I jump around and mess with the pole, this is what I want to talk about. I found out if you press a and b at the same time Mario will jump off and dive at the same time which causes him to go up and catch the pole at the same time. My theory is you can spam b at lava land and get elevator star. I have no idea if this will work but based on my experience I think that that star is actually possible. Here's the lore for this challenge. Kamek puts a curse on mario, forcing him to jump constantly. Only peach can break the curse using the big star's power, and bowser considered saving peach with the curse to be impossible. But after way more hours than he was willing to admit, mario defeated bowser for the final time and rescued peach. Using the power of the stars, peach breaks the curse and mario immediately faints. Luigi and peach rush mario to the hospital, concerned about mario's health. The doctor diagnosed that mario just passed out from extreme exhaustion, and estimates that he should wake up in a few days or so. in that time mario had a seemingly endless nightmare about bowser, kamek, and bowser jr. watching him jump constantly, laughing at him and taunting him all the while. When mario finally awoke, he commits suicide in front of peach and luigi, and gets revived by a 1-up mushroom he ate in secret. Mario then storms off to bowser's castle, brutally murdering all of bowser's minions in his path. When he finally reached bowser's castle, he begins killing everyone except bowser, kamek and bowser jr, who just got beaten within an inch of their lives, tied up, and hung over a lava pit. Bowser junior is then slowly lowered into the lava, than bowser, and finally kamek. Ever since the executions of bowser, jr, and kamek, mario spent the rest of his days hunting down the surviving members of bowser's army. everyone in the mushroom kingdom now fears their once great hero, terrified of what he's done, and continues to do. *what do you think?*

Snowman's lost his head can be completed by activating the trigger before causing the head to roll; In one of the videos over on UncommentatedPannenkoek they made a lot of invisible stuff visible, and noted that the trigger just needed to be hit, it didn't need to be after the head started rolling
I was thinking you redid the final bowser level with full presses again and again because of the wind part. But thankfully you only had to film from that section ;)
