They could’ve donated it. Yes there are donation companies that accept coloured hair it does not need to be virgin hair. The seniors in my salon do it a lot.

Yes, hair will grow back but some of that hair could've been saved to make wigs for those thatve lost their hair due to various health issues. In my opinion though, thought her hair was more beautiful before and only needed a slight trim or ends grazed but isn't my hair and if she got what she wanted, that's all that matters other than saving hair for organizations that help make wigs etc. ❤️

- @@sirpoopdi3420 I know and I was surprised that this stylist with his large following on KZhead and Twitter, having a great platform, doesn't save the cut hair by braiding or using a hair tie because all his clients get alot of hair cut off, which could make so many wigs for people that truly need them to feel like themselves again and make them feel less insecure.

- Most stylist that are asked by the client to donate their hair or stylists asks if they can use the client's hair as a donation, almost all day yes, if in decent condition and the stylist uses a hair tie or braids past the specific length the client is having their hair cut do. They wouldn't have it fall all over the floor yet he could be donating but have never seen donated hair not prepped before cutting it so it all stays together otherwise collecting all the hair from the floor, with dirt, other pieces of hair from other clients may left in the floor after doing a rushed sweep to prep their area for the next client.

can everyone stop “crying over their long beautiful hair” or wishing they donated it to charity? i understand that the hair donation is just a suggestion but there are so many comments of it and it’s so negative when we should be respecting their choices with their hair. it’s their own hair and they get to choose what they do with it

- @@hanjisungswifereal they only accept hair that is natural and not damaged. Also Most charities only accept certain lengths of hair for wigs so this little part that was cut of the person's head would go into the trash anyways

On the topic of donating the hair, at my local salon that I’d go ever since I was young would just sweep up the customer’s hair and burn them at the end of the day cause they can’t donate any hair without consent of the person anyways. Most ppl just say to throw them away but whenever I went there, she’d always ask whether I want to leave it or take it home (my own cut hair ofc) bcs she understood local superstition that any part of your body can be used in witchcraft and I’ve always opted to take it home lmao.
