As a fan of them if we acknowledge one member we should atleast acknowledge the other members coz they have put a lot of efforts to perform as well. If only all fans can watch and see their interviews about the mental stress that they feel and have to go through just to please their fans, it's just disturbing that their main vocalist would think that he's not good enough or he's still lacking to be part of BTS now that they are a global superstar & continues to question his talents. A little appreciation to other members will do a lot. We all have our biases, but would it be much better if we also appreciate the other members as well especially the rap line. BTS will not be BTS w/o any of them.

@@0622Sheena no no no you have it all wrong. you are very wrong. just because someone shows appreciation to a couple members in particular does NOT mean they are negatively putting down or dismissing the other members presence or talents. if someone notices one member more , for example , the flageolets and falsettos jimin and jin BOTH hit. it’s bound to be noticed. same for having a bias you resonant with the most the first time you watch bts interviews or variety shows. you can have a bias and still be OT7 , but you can’t call yourself an ARMY without being OT7 in the first place.

I came here to honestly see how they would execute such an iconic song that was dedicated to one of the most legendary rappers the Notorious BIG who lost his life way too soon. This song really has a strong meaning especially for the black culture. And I can honestly say they did a good job.

BTS is simply the best at showcasing every member's strength. The rap line did so well. The blending of V and Jimin is just superb and Jungkook with Jin is dreamy. V stood out to me because he really showed his wide range in this song. Good job to all!

This song is a prime example of how boy bands are favored a lot more than girl groups. Jimmin and his first tenor high notes is a talent if I have ever seen one. Yes they are great, we love them. They are called "Ghost" and they have done various performances with BTS (also one of the them has worked as a producer for some BTS tracks)
I lost my dad almost 3 months ago, due to an accident. My dad was the best man I’ve ever known: loving, strong, compassionate. I’ve thought many times “what a life to take”, he was a pastor, father, grandfather, but he cared for/tried to help anyone who needed him, no matter the cost. I’ve watched this at least 5 times and have cried each time. Maybe there’ll be a day in the future where I won’t cry, but the words will always resonate. Thank you, BTS, for doing a beautiful cover of a beautiful song. I hope it helps someone out there❤️

What’s really great here is you can clearly see none of them are trying hard to outshine the others (which is rare with pop groups) instead they all utilise their voices to best compliment the song and each other and have clearly practised hard to make sure the harmonies are perfect. They’re not selfish they want the group to shine, its refreshing seeing such a big pop group have a healthy relationship with each other.

Oh my goodness, my boys love bts. My 3 year old who was recently diagnosed w severe autism asks me every day to listen to (whispers) "t s" & then we watch every music video of them. He sways back & forth while listening to them & even knows some of the words. As a parent, you have no idea how this warms my heart. Thank you BTS :)

i love how they paid homage to the original and said in the bbc radio1 interview that they chose this song because its a tribute to notorious B.I.G whom they are fans of as they are fans of hiphop and even have hiphop origins (their song HipHop Phile pays tribute to the genre and its legends) , and added that they chose to cover this as it is a comfort to many people worldwide basically the same approach to choosing fix you as their first proper cover in years. I have massive respect to them for covering it with so much sincerity and sensitivity and making it sound magnificent .

As a “dope old person” who grew up in NYC in the 90s listening to Biggie, (I actually remember the day I was told he died, I was in gym class of middle school - not that anyone asked). So I’m very much aware of the importance of this song and what it means not just to hip hop but also the black community. This song will always have a place in my heart and I’m so proud of BTS right now. They did such an amazing job with this cover, you can literally feel the emotion thru the screen. Some people are getting so upset over this cover. Firstly, their instrumental was more directed towards The Police version of the song (the original), and RM explained before this cover was started, that the song performed by PDiddy and Faith Evans was a tribute to Notorious BIG. As its a cover, they decided to change it up and also added Korean Rap verses, which actually are quite meaningful lyrics. It's a COVER, they respected both versions of the song and put their own flair to the song. People are just hating for no reason. If you don't like it move on. Sting ( The Police, and writer of the original) has twittered about the song and seems to enjoy it. Not once did BTS ever try and take the meaning away from PDiddys version of the song or what it meant at the time when his version was released. Other performers have covered this song, and there was no hate. So why are 7 Korean men who happen to be the biggest group in the world right now, receiving so much hate???? Think about it....

This song is a prime example of how boy bands are favored a lot more than girl groups. Jimmin and his first tenor high notes is a talent if I have ever seen one. I lost my dad almost 3 months ago, due to an accident. My dad was the best man I’ve ever known: loving, strong, compassionate. What’s really great here is you can clearly see none of them are trying hard to outshine the others (which is rare with pop groups) instead they all utilise their voices to best compliment the song and each other and have clearly practised hard to make sure the harmonies are perfect. i love how they paid homage to the original and said in the bbc radio1 interview that they chose this song because its a tribute to notorious B.I.G whom they are fans of as they are fans of hiphop and even have hiphop origins (their song HipHop Phile pays tribute to the genre and its legends) , and added that they chose to cover this as it is a comfort to many people worldwide basically the same approach to choosing fix you as their first proper cover in years. I have massive respect to them for covering it with so much sincerity and sensitivity and making it sound magnificent .

Some people are getting so upset over this cover. Firstly, their instrumental was more directed towards The Police version of the song (the original), and RM explained before this cover was started, that the song performed by PDiddy and Faith Evans was a tribute to Notorious BIG. As its a cover, they decided to change it up and also added Korean Rap verses, which actually are quite meaningful lyrics. It's a COVER, they respected both versions of the song and put their own flair to the song. People are just hating for no reason. If you don't like it move on. Sting ( The Police, and writer of the original) has twittered about the song and seems to enjoy it. Not once did BTS ever try and take the meaning away from PDiddys version of the song or what it meant at the time when his version was released. Other performers have covered this song, and there was no hate. So why are 7 Korean men who happen to be the biggest group in the world right now, receiving so much hate???? Think about it....
I didn't see any hate comments though...I guess those haters are 0.0000000001% bcz they are lifeless toxic hater who doesn't know how to appreciate good things....majority of people are enjoying the song and praising them..that's what matters most so ignore those jobless haters and enjoy the song💜
