    • @StCreed 9.95 times outta ten snakes will "run" if given the chance, but certain species will have actual aggressive individuals, despite what most people in media claim. No idea about wild boomslangs, but I have been actively chased and attacked by a tiny garter snake. Garter snakes in general, in my area, are pretty fuckin mean. The black racers we have around here are also hot or cold. Either they are chill, or they're comin out swinging lol. All puns intended

    • Idk what’s up with this video. Boomslangs are incredibly decile and rarely bite humans. Also they’re rear fanged so they have to really bite the venom in, so you need to get bitten real good to actually get a dose of venom

  • ive seen dozens of videos of the Gabon and I still cannot get over how it looks when it moves. Most snakes just seem to effortlessly glide across surfaces but the Gaboon looks like it has several dozen little legs and "walks" instead of slithers lol

  • Boomslangs are also one of, if not the only snake that can see color. Pretty sure that they also have their fangs at the back of their mouth near the throat, rather than at the front near the lips.
