I almost lost my mind when I saw that you had Big Lots videos as well! I didn’t know what BL was until recently moving very near to one. These videos, along with your amazing home hacks…..🤯! The spectacular hacks that you share with us are not the hacks that I am seeing on every other channel. I appreciate how you are sharing info because you want to help your viewers save money and live better. Your endings, with the hug and the sweet message is the cherry on top. • @@lauralaforge558 I know right. I am so tired of people saying that all brown cabinets are outdated, like that is even a valid reason or a reason at all for hating a kitchen or a house. No, they are not dated and no, not everybody wants boring white or gray cabinetry.

      @vaderladyl@vaderladyl Жыл бұрын
    • @@vaderladyl - The bland neutral cupboards in my kitchen were actually a selling point to me. It's taken me a couple of years to get the feeling of my house, but now I'm cleaning and painting them. The brown was a blank canvas and was nice while I was waiting to decide what I wanted the kitchen to feel like. (The whole house I bought was just a blank, neutral look and that attracted me as I've been able to suit it to me. How hard would it have been to find a house that looked just like I wanted it to?)

  • I absolutely love the canvas you covered with beautiful material. Tip for you: put a small padlock on your sewing scissors so they won’t open when little people borrow them. They ruin so easily and are not cheap. Buy lots of safety scissors at back to school sales and put them all over. I mean in every possible location any person might need scissors. I buy cheap canvases and setup up stations with marbles, long strings, hot wheel cars, etc…Recently the boys redecorated their room in black, gray, and red accents. We did several sizes. I let them dry in between colors. Fabulous.

      @jcastro8654@jcastro8654 Жыл бұрын
    • @@jcastro8654 I just let the kids roll the car or truck through a little bit of paint I put on a paper plate and then drive them or push them across the canvas. I let them dip clothesline pieces in cups of paint and then drag the rope across or splat it. I put marbles in the paint on the paper plate and let the kids thump them or use a stick to push them around. I just do one object per canvas. When they were younger I let them dip them dip the top side of Lego’s and stamp that and I let them dip the feet of dollar tree dinosaurs. There are so many things you can do and kids from 2 to 20 have a blast doing it. So do I actually. I have let them make canvas’ and after they are dried I glued a picture or three of the kids on it and then coated it in clear varnish. Grandparents love this. If you do a big one and include all the kids coaches and teachers love this too. Have fun.

    • I tie a strip of fabric through the handles of my sewing scissors as a visual reminder of what they are for. You could tie them together with a ribbon instead of a lock, if you can trust your kids to get the concept and not untie it.

      @amberallen4181@amberallen4181 Жыл бұрын
    • @@amberallen4181 I used gray wood stain to redo my fake wood kitchen and bathroom cabinets, in my current rental home. I didn't sand or anything, just slapped it on. When I tried to sand one side in the kitchen, it ruined the wood grain look, so I abandoned that idea. Turned out great and the landlord asked me to leave it, and the wall paper, when I move out. That was his way of telling me he liked it. It's also held up extremely well, painted and papered in two days, over two years ago. I used stain from Home Depot.

Looks good, is individual and it is easy to change up when you get bored of the picture or your style/interior changes. Also been doing the stones, plants and floating candles in little vases for years👍.. I did it first for my wedding tables in 2003 and then for my friends tables at her wedding in 2005! Love how it looks👍.. I change up for seasons eg winter.. Pine cones, conifer sprig and Holly leaves and berries.. Great for Christmas🌲👍. • You can always thrift material too. I look at clothing that have interesting patterns that can " grow up" to be something else. Look at long dresses and sheets as material now.

We moved states since he left and he’s never even seen the house. That will be a great way for some red, white and blue plus I know my grandson will love popping them and driving us crazy afterwards💖💖

  • I did not realize that the things that you show in Dollar Tree in the US would actually be available in the Dollar Tree in Canada! I swear to God I watched a bunch of your videos and I saw some stuff that I thought was really cool and I literally left work went to the Dollar Tree and Cold Lake Alberta Canada and I found the same stuff! I hear what you're saying there's going to be times where there's going to be a rush on stuff but I just wanted to say to all of those who think that you are a privileged member of the Dollar Tree tribe, that it is totally incredible that the things you are seeing down there literally plates and everything are up here! Talk about continuity! I completely passed your videos on to a couple of friends thanks so much! You keep doing you! And thanks so much for all the things that you share! You my darling friend are more than enough!
