Personal thoughts on the list: Emperor's New Groove: Yeah, it's a fun movie, for sure Shrek: A cult classic Lilo and Stitch: To this day, my most remembered quote from this movie is "Ah, grilled cheese!" Finding Nemo: A fun adventure story with memorable side characters The Incredibles: Still a cult classic with one of the best scripts and superhero movies to date Curse of Were-Rabbit: Never saw it Happy Feet: I mostly just cringe looking back at this one Persepolis: Personally, Ratatouille is FAR better by comparison Wall-E: A cult classic which still has one of the most unusual romances and the best environmental messaging to date, though Kung Fu Panda was solid Coraline: I despised the scariness of Coraline; I was much more moved by Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and Up Toy Story 3: Personally, I preferred How To Train Your Dragon Rango: Been a long time, but I remember it being fun Wreck it Ralph: Well-deserved for its amazing world-building, even if I personally enjoy Brave Frozen: Very fitting with its amazing musical and fun story The LEGO Movie: Definitely took me by surprise with how fun it was Inside Out: Very fascinating concept executed pretty well for how abstract it was Moana: It was definitely fun, but I'm sorry, Zootopia was SOOO much better with the way it conveys its story and message Coco: Wonderful representation of Mexican culture, very understandable why it's so beloved Into The Spider-Verse: I've heard many good things about it, but I've never seen it personally Klaus: I plan to see this later with my older sister Moonwalker: I liked Onward for its brotherly bonding and its D&D references, otherwise I could care less about the others Encanto: Obviously I enjoyed most of the music, but I personally preferred Raya and its epic world-building Turning Red: While I definitely think that Turning Red was underrated and deserved more acclaim for being such a relatable movie for young women, but this movie PALES in comparison to one of the best legacy sequels ever made in Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish. The only ones I can say that truly shocked me was that Ratatouille, Zootopia, and Puss in Boots 2 were not the favorites of their respective years... Anyway, those were my thoughts 😁
Oh hell nah turning red was the worst moive I've ever seen

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish REALLY deserved a shout out AT THE LEAST. Besides that, I agree

@@soccerdiva7 Indeed. He's the hombre!
I get the feeling this vid was made BEFORE the team saw that movie since yeah Turning Red's fine but... Puss in Boots the last wish is so much better.
The best animated movie of 2022 is Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. It’s so good.
It exceeded all expectations
Finally a comment section with taste.
While I enjoyed enjoyed Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, especially getting to see it on Christmas Day, I have to say Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio is better and holds that title. The stop-motion is really fantastic and it’s a nice unique take on Carlo Colloid’s tale while exploring mature themes of morality and being unique than trying to be somebody else.
@@hunterolaughlin Let's just agree that both are far better than Turing Red!

Young kids like "Finding Nemo" for the colourful characters and animation, but adults can resonate with Marlin's struggle to stop overprotecting Nemo, and for him to let him take some risks.
It’s amazing how almost the animation really looks great 20 years later with the underwater scenes, the Sydney locale, the light reflecting off of the water, some of the textures and the unique design of each of the fish and other ocean creature. Unfortunately the designs of the human characters, especially Darla (shudders), hold the animation back a little; though, admittedly, they’re a step up from the humans in Toy Story.
I have always liked finding Nemo because of Dory and how funny she is!
Yeah, and I liked it because of its journey to Sydney with entertaining parts (like with the sea turtles)
I was 6 years old when, I first saw it in the theaters.
Animation is art, animation is cinema, never forget. Animation is for everyone.
Dang right, it is
As it should be!!!!
Hell yes
No doubt
Absolutely! It's a shame some people think animation is exclusively for kids.

Can't believe Finding Nemo was robbed a best picture nommination.
I know, it’s unfair. Then again, Return of the King still deserves that Oscar

Guillermo Del Torro's Pinocchio should've been the pick for 2022.

Good work, MsMojo. Millions of animated movie fans, we thank you. 😊
I wanna see more lists on animated movies.
It's funny that they think Turning Red is even remotely better than Del Toro's Pinocchio and The Last Wish. They just picked it because it's a Pixar movie.
Well they're one of those biased pop culture fan groups who love to pander and conform to popular opinion in the name of clicks, views, and followers since those three things generate tons and tons of revenue for them.
I haven't even seen Pinocchio or Last Wish and I know that's BS.
284: I got to be honest, at first I thought Moana would be an unnecessary princess movie at the time but then I fell in love it. She’s now my third favorite princess. Other two are Belle and Tiana
2012 Paranorman is underrated.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish definitely deserved the 2022 spot, and the fact that it wasn't even mentioned kinda sucks
289: Not only that Encanto is a huge hit but also for 3am challenges. Call Bruno and you might get a surprise
Man I miss the Disney and Pixar from my childhood. They both still make good movies but they just aren’t the same because of the influence of cancel culture. Back then, they weren’t afraid to touch on serious topics. I’m just glad I was able to be a part of the generation who grew up with that sort of content.
They weren't afraid of serious topics right now either. Have you seen Encanto!
new pixar and disney touches on more serious sensitive topics then the old stuff ever did, expanding our minds to other possibilities of being. If anything the old disney/pixar was not nearly as tolerant or accepting.
I watched "Strange World" this past weekend. I thought that it handled a certain controversial topic with subtlety & tact. That, and it was a heck of a story, too! They've still got it.

You wouldn't it a guy with glasses, would you?(Gets hit with the glasses) So you hit a guy ****WITH**** glasses. That's-that's-that's uh, well played.
281: Oof, ouch “Brave is the Pixar movie to start a Princess, Merida” Princess Atta: Am I joke to you?!
love this
Honourable mention for 2004 would be "Shrek 2". How can anyone forget how much of a masterpiece that movie is?
‘Coco’, my 4th favorite Pixar movie. 😊
Which three would you put ahead?
I gotta know what the top three are if Coco, my tied #1 with Inside Out, is that low.
@@coolnerdlll6053 I prefer Inside Out over Coco.
275: I saw WALL-E on President’s Day with my mom. I love the movie including it’s short film, Presto. Cute couple and amazing score by Ben Burtt (who also did Star Wars, Indiana Jones and E.T The Extra Terrestrial)
Who else feels nostalgia right now? Cause i am. Anywho, happy saturday Ms Mojo and God bless You. Take care and see You soon.
Me
Pick me! Pick me!
278: As great as this list is, all I’m hearing is nostalgia to my ears
I 100% disagree with your pick for 2022. Should've been Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio or Puss In Boots The Last Wish
Princess and The Frog should've at least gotten a shout-out. That movie never gets the flowers it deserves
You guys picked turning red over pinocchio, seriously?
The beautiful "Wolfwalkers" is a more satisfying girl-power movie than "Frozen," "Brave," or even "Moana." Only "Persepolis" comes close. Thank you for putting it at the top of the list for 2020.
I remember watching Persepolis years ago. I love foreign films and black and white films. This film got me both. I recommend this film.
291: Even though it’s by year, it’s cool to have Turning Red number one. Since February of 2022, I had red streaks in my hair but it’s now full red. I gave myself the theater treatment at home
279: When I was a little girl, my dad always took me to the theaters to see every Pixar movie and I love it
I remember seeing Finding Nemo in theaters with my mom for the first time and loved it! Its my second favorite Pixar movie.
Encanto: The best animated film of 2021. Belle: Am I a joke to you?
R.I.P. Ed Asner.
If Wolfwalkers isn't on this list, you're wrong. Okay, you're right.
292: Honestly…… The Little Mermaid -Is a crown jewel of the Disney Renaissance and beloved classic with a voice but the two sequels to dvd was a mixed bag The Rescuers Down Under -Might be the first animated sequel but not really like the other Disney movies in the category since it’s not a musical Beauty and the Beast -Being Disney’s 30th animated movie, got an award for Best Picture in history. The direct-to-dvds is kinda forgotten Aladdin -Thanks to Robin Williams, it’s a huge hit for all ages since 1992 until 2019 for mixed reactions The Lion King -King of All Disney it is with great cast and songs, including the two movies in the franchise. But so-so in 2019 Pocahontas -Taken as Disney’s serious movie but honestly, stunning. Even receiving an award for best song but nothing is said for it’s sequel which is 100% forgotten The Hunchback of Notre Dame -Like The Black Cauldron, it’s a dark movie especially for “The 7 Deadly Sins.” Great opening but often overlooked Hercules -Having a legendary Greek hero being turned into a Disney animated musical is genius. Unfortunately lost an award to Titanic in 1997 Mulan -Great movie based from the legendary hero, timeless songs and comedian Eddie Murphy. When 2020 came, it’s something you didn’t expect Tarzan -Disney’s last movie in 1900’s, it did awesome winning for Best Song and having Glenn Close in the cast. Very beloved but not so much for it’s sequels
My Favorite Animated Movies of 2020 is Mortal Kombat Legends Scorpion’s Revenge. Also, my Favorites of 2021 are Encanto and Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms.
Big Hero 6 deserves at least a MENTION in 2014. But your list is top tier
295: Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio did win an award. Best creation since the original
And I thought Puss in Boots 2 was gonna be on that list
297: For some reason, it feels like this brings the kid in me
293: I’ve seen 21 out of 23 on this list
how can you not mention ice age 💙💙💙, it's my all-time favorite! 😉
What's the name of the sound at the beginning of the video?
Speaking of superheroes and 2018, I was really happy to have an Incredibles two(I thought it was really good). I wish the had big hero six on here though. Oh well
299: Cross my fingers for Top 23 Songs from Movies Each Year
‘Shrek’, my most favorite animated movie from DreamWorks Pictures.
Nice
mine also
GOAT of DreamWorks

2022 really went to Puss in Boots: the Last Wish
Let the storm rage on! ❄️❄️❄️
Ratatoullie and Up deserved the win tbh
Same with brave
Cars over happy feet as well, but coraline deserved the win over up.
I agree. Happy Feet always seemed like a pretty basic movie. Cars, at least the first one, had a lot of heart in the messages. And with Up, while I love the movie, I will admit that a lot of people blow it out of proportion because of the first fifteen minutes. Coraline is consistently breathtaking.
@@demonkingnetsu4045 exactly my thoughts. I fell in love with the very beginning of up and was expecting the rest of the movie be just like that but it got boring really quick sadly, plus Robin Williams didnt play the old guy you cant tell me the old dude doesnt look like Robin Williams.
The Simpsons Movie and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie For Theaters are my go to favorites
296: Since Coraline’s release, my friend watched it nine times. Complete nightmare
285: Electro from 2019’s Spider-Man No Way Home: “I don’t suppose there’s a black spider-man out there” Miles Morales: Oh yes, there is
I don’t care what you say Ratatouille is the best movie of 2007.
Big Hero 6, Isle of Dogs, and Cars 3 need a mention. Also forgot to say Frankenweenie. And if anime was on the list, I would have to say Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.
Where is "Bad Guys" on the list! It's not the best but deserves to be mentioned
The Bad Guys is actually my favorite movie from 2022.
Here is my list: 2000: Chicken Run 2001: Monsters, Inc. 2002: Lilo and Stitch 2003: Finding Nemo 2004: The Incredibles 2005: Kim Possible: So the Drama 2006: Monster House 2007: The Simpsons Movie 2008: WALL-E 2009: Fantastic Mr. Fox 2010: Toy Story 3 2011: The Adventures of Tintin 2012: Wreck It Ralph 2013: Frozen 2014: The Lego Movie 2015: Inside Out 2016: Moana 2017: Coco 2018: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2019: Toy Story 4 2020: Soul 2021: The Mitchells Vs. The Machines 2022: Pinocchio
Clearly you've never seen Cartoon Saloon.
I love Moana, but the finest animated movie since Disney's Pocahontas was the Trolls movie from the same year. This may not be appreciated by everyone, but the Trolls movie is one of the finest philosophical movies of all time, teaching us that we cannot find happiness in material things, but that it has to come from our own heart, and that we can help others find the happiness that is already in their own hearts. It may be taught in a childlike way, but this is philosophy that The Buddha and Zeno the Stoic would appreciate. One of the finest movies of all time, and probably the finest movie of any kind since the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Meet the Robinsons always very underestimated...
My favorite movie of all time in any year would have to be kung fu panda two in 2011 Wall-e from 2008 and Shrek two from 2004
I agree with these (besides turnin red, would rather lightyear) but I’d like spirit stallion of cimaron to have an honorable mention, thanks
Probably not for kids but I was with my mom’s friend at the time. I saw The Simpsons Movie in 2007, I was 8 years old
