Seeing you guys so out of your element while tackling some of the most difficult trails the good ol US of A can offer is super fun to watch and offers a nice contrast from your Aussie adventures where you all know the tracks inside and out. • guys be careful with compression fittings. they do work in a pinch as a temporary fix, but they can blow apart under high brake load like a panic stop. always try to use a union instead that matches the flare type on the line. the difference is the union is a solid piece of material that puts the load on the threads and the flare seal. the compression fitting relies on friction alone on the outer surface of the line to hold it together.

  • putting aside the altitude, I can say for certain that seeing those mountain ranges, those views remind me of Carpathian ranges in this country of ours (Romania), it felt to me like I was back on the trails in Bucegi Mountains and Fagaras Mountains as well. Simply stunning views in this part of the parallels. Almost Everywhere.

  • I've been wheeling the Rockies and the Sierras for over 50 years. It's a blast watching these wonderful lowlanders enjoy it and conquer the routine obstacles like broken rigs and testing your sanity. Great job friends! I have a dream to see Australia, but will probably have to make do with your wonderful filming. Thanks for visiting us.

  • I lived and wheeled in Colorado, in my 74 Bronco. I 'pucker' thinking about all the sketchy trails and close calls. The sense of accomplishment finishing these trail will follow you your entire life. Red Cone was my favorite run, could do it alone without major hassles. 12,800ft is no joke. Remember, it's on trail and not offroad.

Would have loved to show you around some amazing trails though my rig was stolen and the guy drove it through a house moving the house off of its foundation. 96 bronco fully kitted out. The heavy duty bumper I welded up saved his life but the truck it in a sad state. Anyways have a great time Fellas.

  • I absolutely loved this video which brought back great memories of off-roading with friends back in the 1970's and '80's in British Columbia, Canada. We didn't have all the fancy gear these guys do but with winches, jack-alls and chainsaws we made it one way or another. Yank's Peak in the Cariboo, the Jade Mine in the Shulaps mountain range, Middlepass crossing over the continental divide from the Flathead valley in B.C. into Alberta, P Line in the mountains above Squamish....all amazing trips. I'm a little too old now to get back into off-roading but watching these Aussies exploring the U.S. where I now live helps me relive my glory days of my youth. Thank you!

  • Glad you're enjoying Colorado! Its worth mentioning that high alpine tundra is very fragile so driving off trail can cause damage that can take decades to recover and puts trails at risk of being shut down. I'm sure your camp was sanctioned but it's an important detail for others watching this video that may not know.
