  • I came very close to doing this at the age of 36. Then I thought harder about it and took a course with a psychologist on whether I really want to have kids. I reached an "inner answer" that I was not going to want to be a mother any more in the next 10 years than I did prior to or at age 36. The freezing technique was appealing to me because my ideal scenario was to just postpone indefinitely - which is not realistic :) I appreciate the video, it reminded me of my journey

    • @@banditgrl Sure! My egg freezing process cost about $12,000 including the meds. I would suggest really going over your meds and asking your ivf coordinator about what each medicine is for. I ended up having such a good reaction to the STIMS I spent money on medication that I didn’t end up needing! I’m happy to answer any other questions you have about this process. • My doctor said the age of the woman at the time she freezes her eggs determines the likelihood of her eggs leading to a pregnancy-so if you are 32 years old the changes of getting pregnant are 50% with 8 eggs and if you are 37 years old the chances of getting pregnant are 50% with 15 eggs. (I might be slightly off with the ages, but I think those are the ages the doctor told me). I’m just wondering, how old was the woman in this video?

  • Yeah have kids at 46 sounds like a good idea 🙄

    @TDRPZ@TDRPZ3 жыл бұрын
    • Imagine being dumb enough to allow a faceless corporation sell you the idea that instead of having a family and kids and living your life you should forgo all of that and instead work away the best years of your life on a "fulfilling career" so you can then be 45 and have to freeze your eggs which means even more money and time they can squeeze out of you. Lol what the life style coaches, dating experts and cosmo magazines never tell you about all the people telling women to wait to have kids? They themselves have families and children. The steve harveys of the world getting rich by telling women to stay single and just work? They never did that themselves. They sold women (and men) something they would never buy in a million years and dummies bought it because it played right into their ego. So now you have people like this lady having to resort to shit like egg freezing because they gave their youth to a corporation that by the way.. The people at the tippy top (usually still men) all went home to their family at 3 instead of 5 and let all the duppees down bellow to burn the midnight oil for them. Women got scammed and now have to cope and tell themselves they're "empowered" when in reality they've just become a commodity who will consume more products for the players making all the money at the tippy top. Congratulations ladies, you played yourselves; the corporate man just provided the instruments for you to do so.

    • @@Tahir9987 yeah that's not really an argument to anything I said. women can only bring a child into this world between the ages of 16-35 after that women enter high risk pregnancy. that's just how biology works. but hey; keep believing that, maybe one day it might work out for you? or maybe it wont and you just wont ever have kids? This egg freezing is also a money grab; it only works 1/5 times and you still have to pay for the times it fails. Again, another company selling women more products and services to make them feel "empowered" as women while women overlook the fact that over half of all debt in the country is held by females and women still make up a disproportionate unemployment margin in America. Yet you still have all that credit card debt so more $$$ for companies and more of it they can squeeze out of you. It's all based on profit motives. Why would real estate companies want couples living together under one home when they sell multiple homes to multiple women who will never fill them with a family? if the break up of the family benefited anyone, it was real estate companies because now they get to sell more houses to more people since more people are choosing to live alone. more individual products to sell; more single products more consumption and debt. they took the womens liberation movement and turned into cold hard profits and they did so right under your noses all while playing right into females egos.
