    • I've made peace with permanently losing souls or blood echoes. I started The Old Hunters DLC in Bloodborne while underleveled (like 68 or something) and I did okay until the first red-eyed hunter with the boom-hammer. I finally admitted defeat and went back to the Martyr Logarius fight I'd been avoiding. I left nearly 26,000 blood echoes behind because I wasn't about to go for yet another attempt. It's rather freeing when you permanently lose them. I do try not to keep too many on me depending on the area I'm in.

      @SolaScientia@SolaScientia2 жыл бұрын
    • @@robertolaragonzalez2072 Sooo true! I noticed that detail as well! I am on my first playthrough of dark souls 3 at the moment, and just defeated the stray demon in the Farron Keep swamp area. Every attempt I made sure that I would get him to come towards the middle of the bridge so that my soul patch didn’t get stuck next to him at the far end of it lol. He messed me up really bad soooo fast quite a few times in the first 4 attempts (what a brutal few deaths indeed as well with him crushing the bajeezus out of me and yeeting me to another dimension over the bridge!), and even though I have always soloed every boss in these games and never do co-op (I never summon NPCs to help me either), I was about to give in and summon an NPC to help kill him - I was thinking that either he was too strong for my level or the developers intended for an NPC to tank the demon, like Onion-bro did with the fire demon. Turns out that my final attempt worked with simply getting naked and doing a crapload of roly polys around his lard arse lol. He didn’t end up having as much HP as I thought he would, because my great hammer smashed his arse in real gud! It was a great feeling to defeat him solo. :) I probably wouldn’t have been able to do it if I hadn’t played DS1 though, knowing his basic moveset and the tactic to stay behind him. The only bad side of the boss is that transposing his soul into Havel‘s ring initially got me so excited since I am playing big strength build wearing a lot of heavy armor, but finding out that HaveI’s ring is SO much weaker than it was in DS1! It only took 4% off my equip load. 😩😩😩 I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to level my equip load stat anymore when I first saw I was getting that ring. What a bummer!

      @anti-ethniccleansing465@anti-ethniccleansing4652 жыл бұрын
    • @@anti-ethniccleansing465 If you have the ringed city dlc you can get 2 rings that increase equip load also there is a boss that you can transpose his soul into a ring that gives more vig end and vit so keep your eyes peeled for that! And as a final tip don't put to many points into vit as its largely a useless stat due to those rings I mentioned! So don't put many points into it unless you have some armour that looks really cool. You can respec in this game (unlike the first game) so if you are worried that you messed your build up its OK.
