What Khabib is referring to is this......of course hockey is Canada's national sport, the best hockey players of all time are arguably Canadians (Wayne Gretzky, Gordi Howe, Bobby Orr, Sidney Crosby, etc.)...in 2010 we hosted the Olympic games on home soil in Vancouver Canada, and our golden boy of hockey Sydney Crosby, scored the game winning overtime goal (referred to as the Golden Goal) against the Americans to win the Gold Medal. An absolutely HUGE moment for our country. Sidney also led his team to win the Stanley Cup the year before....HOWEVER, GSP was such an amazing athlete and what he was doing on the world stage in MMA, actually earned him Canadian Athlete of the Year above Sidney Crosby......this accomplishment cannot be overstated, Khabib is very respectful and he completely understands this which I find quite fascinating about him. Hes talking about Sidney Crosby
_I really wanna see the reaction of GSP on this video._
kzhead.info/sun/jK6SZbyEpaygnmw/bejne.html GSP talks about Khabib 👆👆👆
Dude you chose a strange picture of gsp man
It's always great hearing these two talk with each other. They are good friends and they both hold each other in high respects but throw friendly competitive love around.
Id love to see the whole interview
Love this so much. Beautifully respectful and accurate assesment. Insightful, touching.
Thats what I like about Khabib, he is not afraid to speak how good a fighter is, even though he is considered one of the best. He shows respect.
Man this is a great homage to the welterweight goat by the lightweight goat. Fighters now and in the future may technically surpass him as future generations always will, what he was able to achieve at a time when MMA was considered a fringe sport is something nobody has done since. Yes Connor/Ronda were huge, but they stepped into a globally recognised sport. What GSP did for mma inside and outside the ring is nothing short of legendary.
It is incredible how good Khabib's ability to speak English got over time.
GSP is MMA GOAT.
In the octogon, Jones is
@@AndroidGuru13 both are
the IQ and memory of this man - respect Khabib. 👍
The deference with which he speaks of GSP is so kind and deserved. Two of the best.
this made me very emotional. Gréât respect and what GSP accomplished was mind blowing as well…. Love it all!
in this entire conversation Khabib was perfect in articulating his thoughts, its crazy to think he only learned to speak English recently
Khabib the genuine greatest ever to step foot in the octagon
Khabib is a really good speaker because he’s confident despite him not knowing all the right words. He doesn’t waste time trying to find them he just keeps the explanation.
He wasn't just the first to have a well-rounded skill set. He made each component of that skill set magnify the other components. He used his striking to make his takedowns more effective and used his takedowns to make his striking more effective. That's why he could beat up superior strikers and take down superior wrestlers.
his English improved a lot.
I like how respectful Khabib is of GSP
His sincerity is pure like a child. He was honestly trying to let DC know what he knew
Yes he's not a known finisher unlike some explosive fighters but he elevated his game to exploit weaknesses from his opponents by completing his overall game just like khabib said. And most of all, he represents well what MMA and martial artists are supposed to embody: humility, discipline, and respect. Something that is gradually overshadowed by trashtalk and arrogance today. Lead by connor mctapper.
Where is the full interview bro ...
lol You should be aware of this..you are the person who watches Habib Nurmagomedov's videos the most on KZhead..😅

@@thesunwillbeinthehome9030 Just tell the source, no need to go personal
@@TheDazzler420 Man.im just kidding ...I searched for the full video..I think it's not for free yet
@@thesunwillbeinthehome9030 Good one! I've seen her/him commenting on a lot of Khabib videos. Big fan. All in good fun though..
"I'm your favorite fighter's dad's favorite fighter." That's a big flex.
Canada loves GSP and Khabib! Two respectful, talented athletes who let their fighting do the talking
Although I think GSP is the GOAT, if they fought right now in 2021 I think you’d have to say Khabib is the favorite.
Of course, GSP is old, he's 40 years old, the gap in their age and their last fight is big. This fight between Khabib & GSP is just not meant to be, and I'm glad it didn't happen.
Of course Khabib would be the favorite. But GSP would still win. Favorites are determined by morons who are trying to make money off the accomplishments of others. They are often wrong and irrelevant.
Tbh I think Khabib deep down respected GSP too much to fight him when he’s too old. He even said it in one of his interview that GSP is too old and should remain retired.
GSP showed Khabib ground and pound, according to Khabib himself. Thats.. wow.
No wonder why GSP also admires Khabib❤❤
Iv been following GSP since his UFC debut , what makes him attractive is beside his achievements is his next door neighbour vibe he gives by always staying humble and respecting opponents. Anderson spider silver along with khabib seems to also be cut from the same clothe.
When you realize that Fedor had a MW frame, and was beating the shit out of HW's, he had crazy ground and pound, crazy submissions, good wrestling and crazy hands. He is 44 and still dangerous as fuck but without a chin. Fedor is the greatest to ever do it. There is footage of GSP, Anderson Silva and Jose Aldo saying that Fedor is the best MMA fighter on the planet when asked back in the day
There was a lot of “HW with a MW frame” too but yeah some were super Hw
Fedor fought tomato cans most of his time. He was great but he isn't the goat HW. That's stipe miocic and there's no way around it
@1NemesisFM and he got smashed and didnt even come back Miocic fought killers from the get go, and Fedor wankboys love bringing the undefeated for 10 years shit when as soon as he got smashed by werdum he was suddenly "out of his prime" although he was on his 28 win streak. Bullshit
@1NemesisFM He Was old when He Was in strike force, stop hating you litlle bit#$#^
@@kwalterrasquinha413 I think the HW goat will change in the next few years. HW is progressing in skill heavily with the likes of people like aspinall, gane, even daukus. Stipe has 3 defenses which I think will be surpassed really soon. Stipe>fedor though
I saw GSP live 3X and Anderson Silva 1X , what an honor.
I'm so proud of Khabib going from 0 to 60 in English in only a few years.
I just love how much respect Khabib shows. I have such admiration for him. What a role model ✌️
GSP was chosen to be athlete of the year rather then Sidney Crosby who scored the golden goal in 2010 winter games here in Vancouver!! That’s huge yes Khabib knows his shet unlike dc lol! 😉
Hi Daniel, Canadian, here. Bow tf Down in hockey! Stay in your lane. I'll fight you on skates and a big sheet of ice!
GSP is one of the greats. A stand up guy too.
GOAT recognizes GOAT.
