  • I love good lyrics and rhythm. I have a few foreign artists on my list that delivers on that, like Coldplay and Alan Walker. I tried to search for a Nigerian artist that can give me similar vibes. I tried Burna Boy but it wasn’t always 💯 what I wanted, just a few good songs here and there. Till I met Omah Lay. There’s something about his music. I can’t find the right explanation for it.

That guy on electronic guitar and its effect on your sound is crazy and mind blowing. And apparently, you have mastered playing the piano! I can't wait to feast on your upcoming album. And I hope it deepens on the quality and gains of Boy Alone. No one since the great Seal has touched my soul with music the way you currently do. Definitely, something about you Stanley...I hope you stay level headed and humble in these 'crazy' moments of your life. Good luck.

I loved how African culture was mixed with some modern touches, especially the white dresses of the beautiful girls, who looked like a great wall of dark-skinned women, or jasmine roses in heaven. And when he was on top of the horse carrying a burning stick, for a moment I thought we had returned to the Middle Ages. A lot of creativity and a beautiful voice in this video. Really it is Amazing job, bravo Omah Lay.
