A few years ago, I had an almost new tire on my Harley that got a screw in it. I used this method to repair it and rode it till I wore out the tire without a problem. It really works well, and practically no down time. This is the best plugger kit I have seen .
Yeah it's great ! :)
Curious, after installing the plug, did that tire leak air at all?
Had mine nearly 30 years..... used it dozens of times. Never fails HOWEVER, don't ream the tyre as much as shown ( in my opinion !) You want it a good tight fit. I only shuv the rasp in n out once or twice Max . Great piece of kit never leave home without it. Especially biking
This is the coolest way to plug a tire as a man who own a non profit "nail it with love inc " who need to save money to take care of police officers trying to bring peace to the world via love ..I am hooked . I'll keep watching and you guys spread the love by telling others about the organization. Because I am in it because of us :)
I carried a Tire Plug Kit in my Work Van, and now in my Truck. I had to go to a Remote Communication Site, with 120 gallons of water to clean the AC Coils. When I came back around the building, I discovered Three Flat Tires. I had no access to the enclosure and my Nextel didn’t work, even walking to the rural road. There I discovered the Roofing Nails. I managed to plug the tires well enough, with Boot Laces, Contact Cement, and an Awl, to get out of there.
Bought the kit at a motorcycle convention. I always recommend it to all for cars and motorcycles. I had to plug a new tire and went on to add roughly 5000 miles to it until they needed replacing. I NEVER leave home without it. Best money I ever spent. Side note: might not be needed, but I also added a dab of patch glue to the stem portion for good measure.
Thanks for watching !
BEST visual and precise fix-a-flat video on youtube!!! 😊
Thanks !
Finally used my kit a few times after having it for decades! Easy tire fix..
This is a very good system that I have used twice now without any issues. One plug has been in service on my car for over 7 years and is still holding up great. Thanks for making the video it is very well done especially with showing the internal views. I now keep one of these kits with my motorbike.
Thanks for watching :)
Dude, how old are your tyres? I don't trust my tyres after 5 years..
@@ABVollen This was an old tyre that I was using just for this demonstration.
@@ABVollen I have tyres that are 11 years old on a car that are still serviceable. I regularly inspect them for perishing and signs of splits/cracks developing and will change them out if that occurs. In UK we have annual MOT inspections where tyre tread and general condition is checked as part of the test. If they are perishing or below legal tread depth the test fails and tyres need to be changed.
Great informative vid especially the internal shots 👍
Thanks for watching ! 👍
Great job. Showing the internal view helps a lot in understanding how it fixes. Thanks a lot for making this video.❤️👌👌👌
You're welcome, thanks for watching
I just fixed my motorcycle tire by looking at your video. You ROCK MY DUDE. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks very much ! :)
I have used this multiple times with great success. You actually can pull put the nail / screw and use this product with the tire on the vehicle. It’s faster than changing to a spare tire. It works great. If you have a motorcycle, this is a must. Closest thing to a spare tire you can get.
Hi,may i ask you how long time does it last in to a car tyre? thanks
@@sorinrezmuves5676 I have used this for screw / nail punctures on car and motorcycle tires. One time I left it in for 6 months before repairing it properly. It works. Nice thing is you can install without removing tire. Good luck
I’ve had one in a car tyre for seven years without any problem
I became very excited when the head started to expand inside......! :)
I just purchased one of these. Mine has a handle not an allen wrench to tighten. Theres even pistol grip type, all work just the same way. Well worth the money to keep handy.
Most people get the process wrong, I know I did. You have to push the plug down into the tool , not have any sticking out. and once it is in the tire, you have to take pliers and do that two inch pull on it, it wont come out, and that seats the mushroom heat against the tire. This is a great demo.
Thank you very much 👍
I've always used the plug system, and it's worked great for many years but, I really like this. In fact, I purchased one after watching this video. Many thanks 👍
Thanks for watching ! 👍
Absolutely the best!
Thank you !
Back in the mid 90s I had a hand squeeze gun that inserted those mushroom plugs. Worked great. Carried it with my motorcycle. Happily I never needed it.
Yeah it's kinda weird having this excellent tool that I hope never to need lol :)
I have never seen before. GREAT INVENTION!!! WOW!
i have to say the internal view is awesome. thank you, sir.
Glad you liked it ! :)
I liked the way you presented the video with two cameras. And your description showed your honesty. These two points forced me to SUBSCRIBE.
Thank you ! :)
Thats the best tire plugging tool I have seen. I will have to get one especially for my motorcycle
Yeah it's a handy kit to have with you in case of emergency !
Brilliant. Love the internal views. Thanks.
Thanks for watching ! :)
Got one of these, one of the best things i ever bought.
They're great little kits alright !
Excellent explanation, including the internal views. I bought this kit for my motorcycle travelling, and haven´t used it yet, and also hope I don´t have to. I feel much secure with it. Thanks very much from Oscar in Lima, Peru.
Thanks very much. Hopefully you never will need it, but you're right, it's nice to have it as a back up ! :)
I guess I should have watched the video first. This looks like it will probably work.
As we say in windy Wyoming. Get 'er done!👍
Exactly what I needed to see in such detail too awesome!!
Thanks for watching !
absolute brilliant video....I've bought this kit for my motorbike (just in case) Many thanks John from Sussex
Cheers !, you're very welcome. It seems to be a good piece of kit and nice and compact too :)
Today I spent an hour or so trying to patch my motorbike's rear tyre with a mushroom puncture kit. This was my second time doing it. Here are some findings. The first time I did it, I wasted one plug. I didn't screw it far enough and the plug came right out when I pull that iron thingy in the last step. This time I knew I need to screw it further down, but somehow the same thing happened. The plug came right out in the last step. On further inspection I realised that the sides of the rubber plug are also breaking off. I have had this kit for more than two years. I guess the rubber plugs have gone brittle. Another thing to keep in mind. By now I have wasted all my plugs. I was really scared. The rear wheel had lost all the pressure and all I had was those CO2 canisters to inflate the tyre. My only option was to push the 180 kg bike to Puncture repair shop which is around 1 km away. I have done it before and it's not pleasant. A bike with deflated tire is like 2 times harder to push. Finally I found one plug that looked fine and I was able to patch the tyre. Huge relief. So make sure your plugs are not too old. Their outer ring might break and they would come right out.
Bought one for my motorcycle years ago and have never needed it. I have fixed several tires on my car though. Holds up well and only had one that ever leaked around the plug. Replugged it and no more trouble.
They're handy little kits to have, just in case :)
Thanks for the video. I bought the Stop & Go a year ago and I've never used it until today. After watching your video was very easy and successful

Very well explained good job😊

Great technique and execution, these plugs are way better than ugly threads, final result is just beautiful, internal view was superb 👍👍👍👍👍......,

Great video! Well documented, clear concise steps and of course the Internal View my favorite. Keep up the good work! I just bought this kit, just got a flat and it’s costing me 6 days of riding because it’s over the holiday.
Thanks very much. Shame about the timing of the puncture !
Indeed but give me a chance to try out this plugger kit 👍🏻
Great video. Convinced me to go out and buy one. Thank you so much.

Never seen this method. I used the Wal Mart special method. Those tar strips... whatever they call them. Never had a problem
Do not put cheap chinese-made tire plugs in your tire
@@dennishowell6494 Why not? I have used them for years without any problem
Very good, it was very well explained and clarified through the video, thanks for sharing with us, thank you very much.
Thank you for watching ! :)
Thank you, just now i ordered the same🌷
You're welcome ! :)
I do prefer this more compact design over the gun that they offer. Seems that you could cut down the allen tool to make it even more compact if you need to repair a tyre that is more enclosed in a tyre well. Awesome.
I agree. The gun type seems a bit awkward, especially when you have to screw the gun onto the nozzle !. Thanks for watching ! :)

This my Working tyre shop 🙏🙏
This is what i am looking for not hard to push it in and will not leaks after few years like common fiber tarry plugs that becomes porous after a while.
Great idea. Can I use it for my Honda CRV 2020? Thanks for your step by step video. Specially inside view. Thanks again and again.
No sadly the Honda crv 2020 doesn’t use tyres like ever other car ever created.
Used this for years in my car and motorcycle and I only add a glue for sealing otherwise I would need to pump air every one or second day. With a glue keeps air inside
I guess you added tire patch cement under the mushroom portion of the plug, then put it in the tool before inserting it into the tire?? I'm wondering if that will jam up the tool. Also wondering about maybe adding the glue to the plug sides after you stretch and pull it out of the tire to seat it.. I just bought the kit and also a pack of single use rubber cement tubes to go along with this.. trying to figure out the best method..
Oddly satisfying!
Excellent job keep it up thanks
Thank you ! :)
Nice video, i have learn something new! 👍

Great video explaining a great product 🏆

You can repair it without removing the tyre (tire) from the vehicle. Just inflate it find the object that puncture the tyre and do the steps.
Very very nice demo.
Thank you !
Sir u r amazing
Thank you very much ! :)
I had a roll pin stab my TIRE and I was in the middle of nowhere with air leaking fast. I used a metal screw in my tool box with some black engine RTV on it to seal the hole. It lasted for several months because I had forgot about it.
Very good, what made you remember it ?
@@screwsnutsandbolts I just happened to see it when i parked and my tire was turned all the way to the right. It was shiny and worn down.
