There is no way it's releasing next year, It's this year baby!!!!

It'll be launched in late 2024
I think it’ll be 3D Mario and Prime 4 at launch (September) we’ll get Star Fox and Mario Party games in October and a Pokemon game in November
Pokemon will be a Switch 1 game this year

I think we will see DK because I believe we will see odyssey DLC for the switch this year so no more Mario til 2025

I bought a lot of imported 3ds games about 2 years ago. The PAL games I got are rhythm paradise, Senran Kagura burst, 3 Inazuma Eleven games, one piece unlimited cruise sp 1 and 2, Dillion’s dead heat. For Japan I bought dragon quest monsters 1 and 2 and joker 3, theatrhythm dragon quest, dragon quest slime 3, seven deadly sins, maple story, snack world, time travelers professor Layton 5 and 6, guild 01, Labyrinth no kanata, love plus, ex troopers, gaist crusher, mysterious pituver, tales of the world reve there are couple more but I don’t now what they are.
3D Mario is definitely a worthy Launch Title Special 3rd Party exclusive similar to Mario+Rabids Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake Next MarioKart That is all I can think of and yeah ARMS 2 as well.
I think a new F-Zero will come out with a new way to play it.
Give us a big AAA game at launch. Or maybe MADDEN. That would drive sales up. Backwards compatibility is a must as well, because nobody wants to be stuck with 3(ish) games at launch with a 3 month window with no new games

Great prediction list. I think the next Mario Kart will be a system pusher so I would imagine it’s either a launch title on coming out within the first 2-3 months. They need a big multiplayer offering right away. Totally agree I don’t want 3D to cannibalize the attention on Metroid Prime 4. It needs its time to shine.
And I do like the Switch Sports thinking. They could make a killing by just putting out NSS again with 2-3 new sports and expanded content.

I don’t think we are going to get Metroid Prime 4 for Switch, because the first “version” of Metroid Prime 4 they should have released for Switch is no more. They stop to work with this version and start over from scratch. So this version of Metroid Prime 4 are only going to be released for Nintendo’s next console.
At this point it’s the only channel that supports the idea of a Switch 2 release next year. I think it’d be a terrible decision to go for another full financial year with an antiquated hardware. But ig we’ll see how it goes.

Nintendo‘s financial years run from March to March don‘t they? So if they‘d release in March/early 2025 it‘d be more than a full financial year without new hardware actually..

Let's say Nintendo does release a Switch Sports Resort game for the next system, do you think that's why they haven't added more games lately to the one that's available now?
Do people just disregard the nso rule when it comes to oot remake and say oracle remakes wont happen?
If the next 3D Mario is a big open world platform, like BotW was to Zelda, it'll carry the launch just fine. There will be a casual game with it, but it'll likely be something new... Other bigger casual games will return, and return sooner than they did with the Switch, but not at launch. Mario Kart launches whenever the hell it wants to, no matter whose toes it might step on... and will be the system's #1 game (just like it was on the last 3 system). Other early games (not launch) I expect to see are: a new Monolith Soft game, Astral Chain 2, a new (insert franchise) Warriors game. Nintendo tends to get ALL of their major franchises out by about the 2 Year mark. If Nintendo makes a next-gen remake of a Zelda title, it'll be OoT... but I don't think they will. I think the next new game is much further along than we think and will be out by that 2 Year mark.
I think Twilight Princess HD and Prime 3 Remaster will launch the same week as switch 2, enticing consumers to see how they look higher rez on S2. (prime 2 and Wind Waker will release early 2024)
They're gonna need more than a resolution difference to make customers notice they need higher quality assets, lighting, and performance

Prime 2 comes out early 2024 (maybe shadow drop like prime 1) and prime 3 comes out late 2024 (or early 2025) within the same launch window of the switch 2 The prime games can play on switch, but they are part of a handful of games that can be uprezzed on switch 2 to look even better

I think a Nintendoland type game would be better than sports resort. Nintendo are really pushing their franchises outside of games so using a Nintendo land game to get newcomers interested in different IPs would be smart. Like Metroid, here’s a mini game included at launch, now I know the franchise I’ll try prime 4, now I love the games I’ll see the movie
What I know there are 11Launch titles for the new Switch NEXT Metroid Prime 4 and Resident Evil 4 remake are the ones I know so far. I also know there is a Zelda remake could be Ocarina of Time.

3D Mario this year, Galaxy 2, Mario Kart 9 and Mario Party for the 40th anniversary.
If they were gonna remaster galaxy 2 they would of done it with the 3d all stars game
@@The_MEMEphis Not necessarily because Galaxy 1 was the main Wii game that they wanted to showcase alongside the 64 and Gamecube 3D Mario games. 2 Wii 3D Mario games would be too much representation for the Wii on a single cartridge.

I believe Metroid Prime 4 will be a release title for the Switch 2! There could be other games, but I believe they have made Prime 4 to showcase the graphical capabilities of the next console at this point!

Not happening not gonna invest my time in Switch 2 topics till Nintendo themselves finally confirm it.
I do feel like they've been deliberately sitting on the next Mario Kart for a VERY long time, so if I were to guess, I'd say the next MK game will be there at launch for Switch 2.
No mk8dx was extended with the booster course pass and its last wave just released 2 months ago. Next MK in early 2025 much more likely.
@@greyowl3787 Switch 2 could be a 2025 release as well, with the system being announced this year, but either way, I think the next Mario Kart will launch not too long after Switch 2 does.
@@uppernimbus agreed, mk will release within 3 to 6 months after Switch 2. I just don’t believe Switch 2 will release in 2025 though, it’s really overdue at this point and investors would be spooked.

3D Mario sure. But Prime 4 hmm. Cloud third parties hmm. Zelda I think it's the Oracle games or something else. They don't repeat remasters/remakes I don't think they will till years later. Why repeat by fan demand every 6 years irs stupid and also doesn't sell well then if it was something different. Rhythm Heaven may or may not come back. Never a launch title obviously. Punchout or others of IPs very unlikely to see easily. Sad no Punchout qith ghe Joycons hmm. Arms and fitness boxing I guess fit there. Third parties who knows. Indied whatever they were working on or ports. I doubt an original Indie collab (like Cadance of Hyrule) on the console would be cool for speculation but wouldn't happen. But big studios whatever had released prior or an original title which Ubisoft hasn't done since Zombi U.
In terms of economics and marketing, I completely disagree with this commentator about MP4 as a launch title. This is the quintessential moment to take all the momentum from the Switch, it's user base, the Mario movie and the Mario themeparks, and to funnel it all along with the hype of the Switch 2, and transfer this acclaim into MP4 as a launch title. Anything else would be catastrophic for the overall marketability of the Metroid series.
