Redline Tuning's Hood Quick Lift Plus- amzn.to/3Md4lho
Price: $99.95
These mods have significantly improved our quality of life living the Wrangler Life-Style. RedLine Tuning's hydraulic hood lift has made accessing the engine compartment a breeze for everyday things like airing up or down the tires, changing oil, or cleaning it. It's an awesome feature that brings ease to everyday Jeeping. Also, this product is manufactured in America!
JOYTUTUS All-Weather Cargo Mat Jeep JL- amzn.to/3Q86sE5
Price: $69.99 (30% off now!)
Dirty Jeeps come as a lifestyle. This gets VERY annoying when you daily drive a Jeep Wrangler and wheel often. The trunk area is especially messy when I use my recovery gear on the trail. This is why I installed an affordable, all-weather cargo mat from Joytutus! This thing looks great and keeps our Jeep's carpet protected as we live our life.
ScreenProTech Anti-Glare Screen Protection Kit- (Direct Link for Jeep JL 2018-2023) screenprotech.com/collections...
Price: Varies depending on vehicle/ kit
Wish you could remove screen scratches from your car infotainment area? Well ScreenProTech can help by reconditioning the screen as they add a level of protection to your dash cluster and infotainment screen. Whether small micro-scratches or big, gaudy ones- they have your Jeep covered!
BulletPoint Rubigrid Dashmount Platform JL/JT (Not 4xE)- amzn.to/3SbP5F8
Price: $115.99
Having a dependable phone holder for off-roading is very important to us! BulletPoint's Rubigrid system is sturdy, easy to install, and versatile by offering several mounting types for your needs. This system for the Jeep Wrangler JL is a little pricy, but well worth the money. We consider the Rubigrid as the best phone mount for Jeeps and off-roaders.
Savadicar's JL Grab Tray w/Microfiber Protection- amzn.to/472DWLd
Price: $19.99
As simple mods go, this is our favorite! Savadicar's Jeep JL Grab Tray offers a convenient place for you or your passenger to store items without cluttering up the center console/ cupholder area. I mean when I say that this mod has saved Amanda and I from COUNTLESS petty fights that add up to big frustrations. It is the perfect place for her to store her phone, sunglasses, and other items out of the way and easily within reach. The microfiber layer offers a protective layer for items that could otherwise be easily scratched. They do offer a tray without this, but we recommend the microfiber layer! (Without microfiber layer link- amzn.to/3FtzrO2 Price: $13.55 On sale now!)
Smittybilt Red/Black Neoprene Seat Covers JL 4 Door Gen 1: amzn.to/3PYKGmk
Price: $175.91
Gen 2 (We have this one): amzn.to/3Q2FtKl
Price: $180.43 (On Sale Now!)
The most requested mod from our last mod video are these awesome seat covers from Smittybilt. These seat covers for the Jeep JL are incredibly stylish, protect the seats from the elements, and are very affordable. Installation is a little time consuming but you cannot beat the bang for your buck. Similar styles/color seat covers can cost thousands of dollars but these clock in at less than $200! We've had these installed on the Jeep for about a year without deep cleaning them or taking them off and they've held up beautifully. They break up the monotony of the OE seat covers and offer a sporty look to your Jeep JL. These are in my top 5 favorite mods I've done to the Jeep JL.
As always, we want to thank you for watching! We are on the way to 1000 subscribers so if you haven't subscribed, please do! It supports us immensely and lets us continue making content for you to enjoy!

    @ralphrauch2826@ralphrauch28264 ай бұрын
    • Ralph! Thanks for the support. Yes the rims are stock. Unfortunately they only made them for the Xtreme Recon package that released in 2021 (and since the 392 is on the recon package those too). Unfortunately, they redesigned them in 2023 that have half of the studs in them and continued using those wheels instead

  • This is one of the best Mod videos! Question on the passenger holder. How does that work if airbag goes off?

    @mamatobz2890@mamatobz28906 ай бұрын
    • Thank you very much! We worked hard on it! 😂 The website states that the tray itself is airbag safe. That doesn’t say the items in the airbag are. Fortunately, we’ve never had the airbag go off *knocks on wood* but we don’t keep items that go over the top of the grab tray in busy traffic but do every other time

      @overlandzam@overlandzam6 ай бұрын
    • @@overlandzam Even if the items are below the top of the tray, if the airbag goes off, more than likely your just hit something. If you hit something, there is a chance that what is in the tray has just enough time to fly up and then be hit with the airbag. Like tossing a baseball up before hitting it 200 mph into your passenger's face.

      @darrenroos6408@darrenroos64086 ай бұрын
    • @@darrenroos6408 the website says the container is airbag safe- again not mentioning items in the container are. But if you have anything in the dash you’re risking it being a projectile. If you have anything in the rear, you’re also risking it being a projectile. It’s all in how you use the item. In a previous comment we mention use of the item during not busy/ congested periods of traffic where an incident is at its peak probability. Otherwise, it’s fine (to us) and is the consumer’s responsibility to gauge their comfort level and again, use of the item responsibly.

      @overlandzam@overlandzam6 ай бұрын
    • @@overlandzam glad to hear that you can sleep well knowing that if your passenger is injured or killed, it's not your fault since a website said it was "safe"...

      @darrenroos6408@darrenroos64086 ай бұрын
    • @@darrenroos6408man you are picking and choosing the parts I say to what end? I acknowledged improper use of the item -may- result in projectile -if- the airbag were to deploy (your whole psa) then I said if you have anything in the front, back, on the dash- it can turn into a projectile if in an accident- crickets. Additionally, I sleep soundly when I arrive safely after many hours and miles on the road and the airbag not deploying on my passengers as they are able to exit unscathed.

  • Does the Tutus cargo area protector have a 60/40 protector too for when the seats are down?

    @roxannedavis5443@roxannedavis54436 ай бұрын
    • Not that I’m aware of and not the one that I have. Since the seat covers already protect the seats we weren’t too stressed on finding a 60/40 mat 😅 For us, this thing works the majority of what we use the rear area for. Some future thoughts are taking the seats out and replacing them with cargo containers but we’ll see!

      @overlandzam@overlandzam6 ай бұрын
  • I love the idea of the grab tray but one concern. Does it impact the airbag functionality? I'd hate for the tray or anything in it to become a projectile if the airbag has to deploy.

    @jimcostello4611@jimcostello46116 ай бұрын
    • This is a great question and something I had a feeling would be mentioned. The website says the tray itself is airbag safe. That isn’t to say the items in the tray are. In my experience, we haven’t had the airbag go off to answer the question, however- I did have a few conversations about this topic with my girlfriend. In traffic, we don’t keep things in it. When it isn’t too busy we do. Better safe than sorry

As for my phone, it's on my belt (in a Unicorn belt holster/protector) and my sunglasses securely hang from my CB radio's microphone wire (radio is installed high overhead). The only thing I keep in the 2 cup-holder is, well, cups (and a napkin (mainly to catch condensation drips from cold drinks in Summers)...UNLESS I need to go into the dealership for service and I put my key-fob in its dedicated storage-slot down there...that way EVERYONE knows where it is...or where it's SUPPOSED to be. ;-) "Jeep Wave" -- BR

  • Question I have is will the hood shocks lift a hood with a hilift jack installed on it?

    @peterjones8546@peterjones85466 ай бұрын
    • That’s actually a really good question! They’re strong and fast enough without anything mounted on the hood. I imagine once you get high enough, the hydraulic will take over and keep the hood in place. If I find a hijack and some mounts at a good price, I’ll try doing it myself. Honestly, it’d be worth getting the system and trying it out. Whichever outcome- let me know. Worse case scenario you return it for your money back through Amazon 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • Any mods for when you remove the front freedom tops that help with the wind buffeting/noise?

    @muuzilla@muuzilla4 ай бұрын
    • Yes actually! There are several versions/companies out there but we've been loyal to Spiderweb Shade due to the fact that A-they were the first in the business to create the product B-I've used them for my Jeep JK and stand by the quality of the product and C-they're from Florida like we are! They don't carry just the front and are pretty pricy so another good alternative I've used before my Spiderweb Shade is Shadeidea: amzn.to/3NXloVE Their product is good and more affordable too. We notice that if our doors are on and the top is off, these mesh covers do provide a decent amount of wind/noise reduction (you'll still have some) and protects against the sun which is nice. Best of luck!

Yes, there are similar items at similar prices, we feel these are the better quality in their respective category. The only thing I agree with is the price point on the screen protector- however ScreenProTech's product includes a dash cluster protectant film (haven't found a different company doing that) and film that eliminates preexisting scratches on the screen. • A subjective statement. The Wrangler line has a very solid foundation with engines that are known to be reliable and last. I'll admit, the newer engines Jeep has made have issues but you can thank the EPA for forcing a company to change based on fuel efficiency instead of longevity. Most engines in the Wrangler are also seen in Dodge and RAM vehicles so if you're avoiding Jeep make sure you avoid those too.
