  • Looking at the rot I suspect even if you could get wedges in it might have popped your holding wood and gone wild. Remind me again why you like Sthil bars? I always ran Oregon bars and chain, lots softer but if your rails got pinched you could wedge them open. Sthil bars being harder always just split a chunk out and it was ruined.

  • Spent the most part of 16 years working on the Coast cutting down trees & quickly discovered it took balls to do such. But anytime I saw the degree of risk those Off Road Truck Drivers faced day in and day out on those treacherous haul roads, it kind of made falling feel a tad less dangerous.
