    • I am learning to wait & trust in the Lord. Trusting that he is in control no matter the circumstance/what things may appear to be💜 It’s been hard at times but as you mentioned in the video, it’s apart of the sanctification process which is needed. I’ve been praying to embrace it❤️

    • Selflessness, & staying outwardly focused! I’m a newlywed to a medical school husband! It’s definitely a sacrifice now for future freedoms/gain! 🙏🏿🙃 But it’s hard not to have a lot of quality time, to work full time & take care of the home/meals/laundry, & it can get lonely cause I moved to CA from SC. But I’m trusting God carry me through this temporary time in our marriage. & praying for friendships & deeper community. It’s hard to find!

  • I am still in my single season in my early 30s, however I’ve spent most of my pre-teen to now ‘auntie’ years caring for children. I have so much grace and compassion towards parents, especially first time mothers or single parents because it’s so tough to have to go from being the captain of your daily routine but then have to TOTALLY change everything and almost relearn how to adult and adjust around children and the changes that comes with them. Blessings and prayers to you and your family for your new baby and growing family. I also pray that you all continue to build a strong and healthy community that you can lean and learn from as new parents in your area so you don’t have to feel alone and overwhelmed because it’s so new.

  • Ah I remember all of these firsts that you’re experiencing. The driving in the car alone for the first time was so scary to me too. But my oh my it gets increasingly more beautiful as the weeks go by. My baby just made five months old and it’s been a journey. You will eventually become so good at finding a balance of routines. The car rides get easier too 😊 you’re doing great ❤️

  • In about 6 weeks, I'll be entering into motherhood, and as a task-oriented person also, I can see myself experiencing a lot of the same struggles. Thank you for giving voice to that. It was an a good encouragement to me to be reminded to trust in God's provision for today.

  • My daughter will be 11 months here soon and I remember how tough it was especially the first two weeks (hormones and things). Also my husband had to go to work 2 or 3 days later and it was SINK OR SWIM I cried so so so much during that time.. I feel like I felt such similar things.. it’s so crazy and full of Gods grace that we can be encouraged by others that go through very similar things! There’s this country doing that goes “it won’t be like this for long” and in my struggling very low moments I felt like God brought those lyrics to me and it is just SO True that these days FLY by and those sweet moments and hard moments will pass. Thank God his mercies are new every morning!❤

  • So encouraging!! Things don't always go the way we plan, but the way God allows it to go is for our own good. And it is much more rewarding than what we wanted. So helpful in reflecting on my singleness presently and someday being a mom. Thank you! 😊

  • Judah is beautiful, my great niece is about to turn 1 in a few months, and my niece also takes her to a chiropractor since she was born, it's amazing that they also need adjusting. Her hips were a little miss aligned and now she is fine, and they also told my niece that since my Great niece is now trying to walk, to try to strengthen her core strength first. But Judah has a way to go before you get to that point, enjoy this season of life. God bless you and your beautiful family.🙏💙

  • The last couple generations of new moms have been pretty lucky to have their spouses at home, not all but a lot of them can have a new baby leave. When I had my first baby my husband did not get one day off, mom helped the first several days but by day 6 I was on my own, it was scary but I did the best I could. Dinner was late and the house not sparkling clean but, the baby was cared for🥰 You will be just fine, take a day at a time and breathe in the sweetness of your newborn❤️

  • Congrats on your sweet family! I have found that letting go of my expectations and my own ideals of how things should be to be the hardest part of motherhood. It's still frustrating (the messiness of life) after 28 years of marriage, working, and 4 daughters ranging from ages 4-26, and 2 grandsons, but it definitely helps strengthen one's reliance on God and see the beauty in the chaos and busyness. When I look back over the years, I remember the sweetness and blessings, not the stress. It is imperfect, but beautiful.

  • Praying that God will give you the strength throughout your days going forward! ♥️ a really good tip is what my Mom did when I was a baby, is if she needed to shower, she said she would put me in the baby carrier and have it right next to her shower, and that was the only way for her to actually take one while still being able to watch me, so you should give that a try and see if it works for you too! 😊

  • Hi Kaci. Oh such precious moments with your Judah. I can remember the first few days of being alone with my New Born Daughter. Scary; yet precious. God taught me even more patients within my self as well as circumstances that arised that I was not anticipating. You are going to be just fine!!! You have God!! I’ve been studying Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. I had just started studying on Complete Surrendering, and The Holy Spirit led me to Battlefield of the Mind. It’s been so very good. Getting ready to start todays quiet time. I’ve struggled with spiritual laziness and I’ve got to listen to David Hernandez’s sermon on just that. Satan really works on us especially when we are struggling and weak. But God prevails. You, Kaci are making an amazing mommy. As Tylor an amazing Daddy. You are in my prayers as you daily learn to “Relax” and Let God. As Judah gets older, you will be able to have more of a tast scheduled daily life. But for now, it’s almost impossible. You will one day look back on the new beginnings of this new chapter of motherhood and lol saying, “ it wasn’t so bad. Can’t wait for your next video.

  • If you say your children is too young you can read the bible app for children and show the baby stories and play with the little images that they put there and then do the fun activity after the storie❤ I guess as the baby grows he will know more bible stories, even if they don't understand right now
