SEES TREES ANTALOPE UNDER PARTICULAR TREES EATING WHAT FALLS, CLIMED THE TREE AND WAIT, ABOUT 20 FOOT DROP ONTO THE PREY AND KILLED, DRAGGED TO A DIFFERENT TREE AND UP TO EAT IN PEICE, ANOTHER NIGHT HUNT, INFARED CAMERA, THIS WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING I EVER SEEN, LEOPARD SEES HEARD OF ANTILOPE , THE SMELL BUT CAN NOT SEE, THIS NEXT BIT EVEN STUNNED THE FILM CREW, THE LEOPARD STAMPS ITS FRONT PAW, ANTELOPE SPOOKED, THEN LEOPARD STAMPS AGAIN AND ANTELOPE RUNNING EVERY DIRECTION AND ONE STRAIGHT TO LEOPARD...THOSE TWO, GRAVITY AND USING THE STAMPS JUST SHOWS YOU WHY THEY CHOOSE NOT LIVE LIKE PRIDES , OR WILD DOGS. DISADVANTAGES TO BOTH...YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD SEE BOTH BECAUSE BOTH A VERY CLEVERLY DONE...

  • The first and truly only savage kingdom season. Season 1 SG is some of the greatest, most thought provoking and entertaining television piece/doc/movie I’ve ever seen. This is season 1 episode 6. The way this series was produced you really want to start with ep.1. It’s a story that plays out over the season. In addition this is just a mock up or compilation from the season. It does not have the same story flow as the original season.

Documentaries can be a powerful way to learn about and appreciate the natural world, and they can also inspire us to take action to protect and preserve it. • I love, love, love the Savage Kingdom series. I hope you can keep these coming. Vicious doesn't even explain these wild dogs. They start eating on their prey before they're even dead. Only other animals that were guessed to do the same were the Veloceraptors. Such a horrific way to die.

    • They are not vicious. That is the only way they can kill, and death is pretty quick for the prey. Strangulation takes a long time to kill, and it could take up to an hour for a lion to kill large prey like buffalo or elephants, for example. They can’t get enough pressure on their large necks to close it all the way. Would you rather die like that? It just looks cleaner is all. Wolves, hyenas, and dogs also eat their prey alive and many predators do so when they have disabled the prey so that they won’t be injured.

    • Wolves, bear, coyotes will start eating something while it's alive too.. allot of times, they'll come across a downed/injured/sick/trapped animal & just start eating.. it's not going anywhere & they aren't going to waste ANY energy they don't need to just to kill something.. unless they're protecting baby's or territory.

      @mikefrost1312@mikefrost1312 Жыл бұрын
    • Death comes soon enough from shock, blood loss and how quickly wild dogs devour their prey. Shock can also minimize suffering. Many people who've had serious injuries will tell you they felt no pain at first, adrenaline kicks in and the pain comes after the initial shock wears off. Wild dogs can strip a carcass to nothing but a skeleton in 15 min.

When you think about it, millions of years ago us humans did the same thing, hunt to get our food. We still eat meat now only we don’t have to catch it & kill it. It’s ready for us to buy.

  • After just watching a video where a stinking hyena came in to steal the hard earned kill from some Cheetah who had skilfully chased down their prey, it was nice to even appreciate wild dogs for their amazing stamina and determination in collectively being able to bring down a kill and literally inhale the carcass in no time, wow, they are fantastic. I never fully understood the wild dog but recently learned they are not only immensely loyal to each other but possess incredible intelligence, stamina and the ability to devour their meal so quickly as to not loose too much if a larger, more dominant predator was to show up. Great video altogether 👌🇦🇺
