Yayrwe what does keeping ones roots and culture have to do with needing to go back to one’s country? Plenty of immigrants in the US keeping their culture alive, this is why the nation is a melting pot, with almost everyone (except for native Americans) having roots in some other nation.
Yayrwe USA is a melting pot of ethnicities and cultures, it’s the epitome of ethnic and cultural diversity. Unless you’re talking about the indigenous people; the native American culture and traditions are not predominant and the USA is not a representation of that either.
She is making money for your country, moving your economy, she is spending money in your country. I doubt you are a real native first people, probably you or part of you came from a european heritage as well. In Brazil we love the mix of cultures that we have with our immigration. We love to be open and nice with people, she is a good example of our character and likes to put this espirit in her kids and house. Sad that some people thinks it’s a bad thing.

Nothing wrong about that actually. She has done it nicely and in context. People might be annoyed of that only because it reminds them of how annoying Brazilians living abroad can be about their country. They talk about Brazil all the time, have no interest and knowledge on other cultures and think Brazil is the only country with perfect beaches and delicious food. They go to parties and only want to hear Brazilian music and there is this mix of arrogance and stupid in the way they carry themselves. Very much not like the model in the video, but it might remind people of that. I’m a Brazilian myself living abroad.

Definitely, I've always been really impressed with her english as I know a lot of Brazilian women who migrate(I'm half) and who've lived in english speaking countries, but have never really grasped onto the language as well as she has.

This is the most beautiful celebrity house I have ever seen. All the rest simply have impressive architecture, expensive furniture, empty spaces, but no character, nothing to truly reflect the owner's personality or interests. Only random awards on display, but nothing reflective of the person or their interests. This one is different; the house screams Alessandra from top to bottom - art, music, piano, Brazilian guitars chairs and trees, toys and activities in the kids' rooms, colors that match and create warmth and real living. I love it, so inspiring. Thank you AD for this episode!

@@alissandraupton836 Brazilian people in general are not so uptight about their bodies - if you have been to a Brazilian beach, you will see everybody (young, old, thin, fat and in-between) showing off in various stages of undress and no one bats an eyelash.

Some people are annoyed by the fact that she mentions Brazil so many times. This happens because mostly Brazilians are known for not having strong communities where they live abroad. It is a very Brazilian characteristic, to blend. So, when Brazilians travell abroad, or move to another country, they only stay with their compatriots if they need support. So Ambrosio and Giselle built their career BECAUSE they were Brazilians, besides being beautiful. Some other "famous" Brazilians are Rodrigo Santoro, Wagner Moura and Morena Baccarin. They are not always known for being Brazilians. Actually, Brazil is a veeery different country in Latin America, and it reflects in this outsider personality.
I don't understand why people would get annoyed by this fact... She is from Brazil, she's proud of that, her life style include her nationality and brazilian habits. The goal of this kind of video is show who is the person in her intimate life... so that's it. Besides she has show some cultural aspectcs that might interest varied people all over the world... Who proves brazilian barbecue usually loves it, chimarrão is a beverage people outside Brasil don't know, so this kind of video is important, cause its might be a good experience for new things.

I really like how she put a lot of thought in the decor of her home. Everything from her the photos on the wall to the guitars hanging on the wall she goes in detail about how it is meaningful to her and not because it just "looks good." Also she has a piano that she and her kids use while other people have it just for "display". She has a very lovely home and you can just tell how comfortable and cozy she is in her home. I couldn't help but smile when she said "this is my favorite chair" because we all have that one cozy chair we like ;)
Everything about this video is fantastic, she is so engaging and real. The best part to me was her interactions with her kids. You can tell she’s such a great mother, and by being the way she is, gave her kids quiet confidence (very likable trait). I melted when her daughter said she was reading the book with the cat and hugged it. So sweet ❤️ oh, and the house is dreamy! Great work everyone!

Culture is such an interesting thing, really makes you think about the term “social science” culture is a representation of human nature in a location but it has really become the basis of how we live. Always humbled by the world around me, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to see how others cultures can be represented through the art that is architecture. Fantastic Video
