Corral, during which lawmen killed three outlaws Cochise County Cowboys I think he was very good with a gun these guys started learning how to use a gun at a very young age like 5 years old there were a lot of talented gun men in those days it was part of their lives your gun was your pillow. in order to survive it is true there were not as many gunfights in those days as they claim. you would have been stupid if you were going around acting a fool you would not have lived very long :)

    • Very True, most of the Tall Tales we read about are just that, Tall Tales, very few if any of these men had any special skills with pistols, or had any shooting abilities, it takes no skill to ambush a man, shoot him in the back, or attack them from behind, which is what most of them did, Earp was in fact not good with any weapons, at all, Men Like Ben Thompson, and Clay Allison were in fact true Gun Fighter, experts with the Fast Draw and deadly Shots, Billy The Kid and Butch Cassidy preferred to Shoot men at distance, ambushing them , murdering them, they knew they would have no prayer of surviving a gun fight at close range.

    • @@jon7968 Doc Holliday was credited with more kills than just the OK Corral Fight. Charles White in Fort Griffith Texas, Mike Gordon in Las Vegas New Mexico, Milt Joyce Tombstone AZ . He didn't kill Joyce but shot a revolver out of Joyce's hand putting a bullet through Joyce's hand doing it. And then shot a man named Parker who worked for Joyce as a bartender . Some Reported that Parker pulled out a Shot gun from behind the bar trying to aid Joyce and Holliday shot him behind the bar. Some Reports say Holliday shot him in the toe. But both men were shot and disarmed in the shootout but lived. Then The 3 accredited kills during the Ok Corral and vendetta ride With Earp . The 2 Mclaurys at the Ok Corral are said to be killed by Holliday and later Frank Stillwell in Tucson at the rail yard. Johnny Ringos death has been claimed to have been at the hands of Holliday. And it's been claimed to have been a suicide. But it's highly unlikely it was a suicide considering Johnny Ringos reputation and the fact that he and Holliday were going to gunfight a day or two earlier but others intervened stopping it . And then Ringo was found shot in the forehead above the left eye. And Ringo was right handed on top of not being known for suicidal thoughts. Bat Masterson along with Wyatt Earp and others who knew Holliday claimed he was a slight and frail temperate man but also the deadliest man with a pistol or knife they had ever known or seen use either. He had to leave both Georgia and later Dodge City Kansas after killing men in both over gambling disputes during his earliest known fights. Both with pistols and one with a knife.

  • He wasn't captured he had a remarkable 6 since I'm talkin about Billy the kid. He and his gang surrendered when they smelled the bacon and eggs cooking as they were very hungry. And it should be mentioned that Billy the kid's death is also disputed as his sixth sense wouldn't allow him to roam around when strangers were there especially white strangers. He was in the company of a lot of Mexican friends who he seemed to prefer as well as poor white people what he did not like was the Richer white. Both deputy stated on their deathbed that they agreed it was the kid because Pat Garrett told them to. They said the man he shot was actually a half-breed and he had a full beard and the kid was not able to grow a beard only a mustache.

  • As with most treatises on western gunfighters this grossly overestimates the number of folks killed by gunfighters. Jim Miller has the most confirmed kills. Less than 30.(This is from memory. I can't find my Encyclopedia of Western Gunfighters. It is not definitive, but, makes a good attempt at documenting known kills.) Even some of Miller's are questionable. Garrett was shot from ambush. Miller was presumed to be the killer. Of course, one shot from ambush does not sound exactly like a gunfight to me.

  • Horn done many things to be executed from but the most ironic thing is he did not kill Willie Nickells the crime that he was actually hung for. A housekeeper for the other family said their son is the one that killed Nickells son. She told her employer she would keep quiet as long as they did not convicted Tom Horn of this. When they did convicted horn she was fired and she went to the proper authorities saying Tom Horn was innocent but they didn't listen to her. Just like Bill longley and just like John Wesley Hardin himself there is no reason to believe that horn was anything but railroaded to The gallows. Bill longley for example actually said I never killed anyone in this cold-ass blood as you are killing me you shit face sons of b****** . Naturally the newspaper couldn't print that so they said that what he said was he deserve this fate he did not say that. And then harden got 25 years for shooting a man that had already shot him in the back. That seems a bit extreme extreme to me all these men were railroaded to The gallows or prison.

  • This video does not accurately portray Bill The Kid, Billy was a Murderer, who Ambushed Men, that he knew he would have no prayer of surviving a gun battle with, he back shot several men, and was terrified of getting into a fair fight with anyone, he for sure would of been gunned down easily, he rarely used a pistol as this would require him to get close to his victims, preferring a rifle to make longer shots as to avoid any close contact, he was a coward, that dressed like a woman to avoid being stopped by Deputies, at even the slightest sign of trouble he was always the first to run. He had a very low IQ and was suffered from multiple Physical Problems, and was a hopeless Alcoholic...
